I was here for the food and drinks. The Guiness tasted correct out of the tap and the Tuesday steak special was cheap and well cooked. Nothing flashy, just simple and good.

Beautiful renovated pub in the centre of town. Street parking around the corner from the cop shop so safe. Brilliant service and a drink voucher and meal voucher was a great bonus. Best meal of my drive from Perth to the eastern states !!! Good job team

I personally would not stay here again. The room was not very clean, had mould in the bathroom, peeling paint on the windows, and I was rudely woken over an hour before my alarm was set by mop heads clanging around in a washing machine directly across the hall from my room.

Great outdoor areas for families and nice cocktails. Standard meals - pub foods, great chips though. Sports TV playing near the bar and lots of little spaces.

Rooms with bathrooms 2 star very basic room. Bathroom is okay. Location above a pub is noisy. The rooms are clean. I give thumbs up to the cleaning staff.

Very split feelings about my stay here. My initial room hadn't been cleaned properly and I had to complain at reception about the smell and what I believed to be the cause. The ladies on reception were amazing, came and inspected the room and moved me to another one. The room I ended up in had recently been renovated and was generally comfy. The facilities in the room included a fridge and kettle plus an iron. No ironing board or microwave with the later being something I'd asked about before my stay and been told was in each room, only to find out on arrival there's a communal microwave for the floor in a kitchenette on the 2nd level. And I say kitchenette in the loosest sense - fridge and microwave but no utensils or plates etc. Saturday night was pretty loud but that's to be expected above a pub. Location was ideal, easy access to the river walk and centre of town and Woolies is just over the road. If you need a base for a few nights I'd still say it's worth a go. If you're looking for somewhere that you can be self sufficient for meals, I'd recommend a motel with a kitchenette.

+ Excellent emplacement. Nourriture de bonne qualité à prix abordable. Literie propre et lits confortables. - Ménage plus que succinct ! Même pas un coup de balai passé dans la salle de bain et poussière dans toute la chambre. - Nous avons passé le week-end. L'isolation est inexistante et même en étant au bout de l'établissement, nous avons dû profiter pleinement de l'animation...

Fantastic hotel, rooms are well presented, nice and quiet at night. By the time the server poured the beer my burger was ready to pick up.

The guy with the curly hair that works nights was sooo nice! So accomodating and just genuine. Appreciate his kindness, very nice hotel the beds are super comfortable

Visiting with my wife, ordered the Guinness pie with veggies, looked great when it came out, but was cold. Expensive pie not edible. The place was busy , but that’s no excuse

If I could give zero stars, I would. From morning until night, all I could hear was the constant noise from the machine outside. It was extremely loud and made it impossible to sleep well. On top of that, the facilities are far too old and outdated. Very disappointing experience.

It’s a very bad experience. The facilities are too old, and unfortunately the experience was far from relaxing. The noise level was a constant issue throughout my stay. There was ongoing disturbance from outside the room, and early in the morning—around 7–8am—I was always woken up by loud sounds. Guests upstairs seemed to start moving very early, and the ceiling would creak with every step. On top of that, there was frequent noise from staff working in the hallway, which made it nearly impossible to get a proper rest. I understand that the hotel is located in a busy commercial area, so some level of outside noise is expected. However, the outdated facilities and poor soundproofing made the situation much worse than it should be.

Negatives: The room had no wardrobe, no chairs, no table or bench, no iron/ironing board and only one bedside lamp. There was a bar fridge on the floor with a kettle, 2 mugs and tea/coffee. The electrical leads were not safely stashed away and were an OH&S issue. The sash window was broken and could not be opened. The communicating door to the next room was not even close to soundproofed. Postives: The bathroom had been recently renovated and was spacious and well appointed. The bed was made up of 2 singles pushed together and was comfortable.
