We did two tours with Rod’s company and they were hands down our best two days in Mexico.
Having a private tour just made the whole experience so memorable and amazing. Our guide was Kat and she was brilliant!! She was so knowledgeable, so friendly and just a pleasure to spend time with. She also took amazing photos of us throughout the day and then Rod sent them all to us with no charge.
The service of the whole team was incredible from the first email I sent to Rod to the follow up emails to check we had a wonderful time.
We can not recommend this company highly enough and will be booking more tours with Rod on our next visit.

Rod is incredibly professional and very punctual throughout the day. It was a very great experience that I would recommend anyone visiting the area his services, his years of experience and knowledge of the area make an unforgettable experience. There was great communication throughout the trip as he is fluent in several languages

Before the tour day we were dreading the early start, but the guys were fine with us stopping for must needed coffee before the journey out. The early start was well worth it though. We got to Chichen Itza and there were only a few vehicles there. Once on the grounds and seeing the main pyramid through the trees for the first time, we were done. It was so amazing to see, and with almost no one on the grounds. We got plenty of great pics of just the ruins with no one else in the pics. Our guide was very friendly, smiley and so knowledgeable about every aspect of the culture and ruins, as he was Mayan as well as an archaeologist. Once we began to leave we saw the sudden influx of hundreds of people. We beat the rush. This also followed through to Ik Kil and Ek Balam as well. No crowds and plenty of time to enjoy the tours and scenery. And the view from the top of Ek Balam was Amazing! The guys were very helpful and we all found that we were all diver's so, the long drives between sites and Playa Del Carmen were filled with dive stories and suggestions from them to us and vice versa. We will definitely get in touch with Rod as soon as we know next time we are heading to Yucatan. And should anyone else lol There are so many options available and Rod and his crew are really good company to hang out with. Thanks guys for the fantastic time

After an express tour with Rod to Chichen Itza, and shopping with local vendors, we were quick to book Rod for a trip to Tulum then snorkeling in the amazing cenotes of Playa Del Carmen. There was never a dull moment on the drive to and from each attraction. Rod was more than ready to answer our questions from history to local culture, and amenable in any other way to give us the personalized experience we were looking for. The transportation to, and from, each destination was top-notch, and the driver couldn't have been more kind. Rod has the logistics of each attraction down pat. No waiting in lines. No wasting valuable vacation time in traffic. We couldn't have been in better hands. And to top it off, we had a wonderful album of pictures Rod took of us on each excursion - complimentary - waiting for us that evening! We quickly shared these images with family and friends and reminisced about the wonderful memories created on our custom tours. Thanks to Rod, Fernando, Martin and Augustav! We couldn't have asked for anything more!
Muchas gracias a Rod y Agustín, el tour que tuvimos con ellos por Tulum, los cenotes y el pueblo maya fue el mejor día de nuestras vacaciones en Playa del Carmen. La organización y los horarios fueron excelentes, empezamos muy temprano, de modo que íbamos un paso adelante de los tours masivos, pudimos disfrutar de las ruinas de Tulum, nadar en los cenotes, andar en canoas y tirarnos en la tirolesa, todo sin multitudes, a nuestro paso y siempre nos sentimos muy bien atendidos y sobre todo seguros. La comida en el pueblo maya fue excelente. Rod es un guía muy profesional, puntual y organizado, pero a la vez super agradable y ameno¡ Nos hizo el día!
El paseo fue una experiencia maravillosa y definitivamente volveremos. ¡Gracias!
After looking high and low for just the right excursion/tour I had come across rod on trip advisor and contacted rod that day and he goes back to me that evening and I decided to book.for my wife and daughter to go on the my tulum tour. Rod was right on time and from the beginning rod and his partner were super friendly,accommodating, and informative. There was never a moment where we felt rushed . Everything from swimming with the turtles, zip lining, cliff jumping ,and much more especially the delicious beach side lunch was something myself and family will never forget thanks to all rods hard work and dedication this was the most memorable part of our trip. Thanks again Rod and thanks for the wonderful pictures and memories.

Rod Ratner and his team gave my family a truly amazing experience and special memories we will never forget. There is no other tour guide I would recommend. If you are in his area this is the tour guide you want to spend your time with. Him and his team went so far above and beyond what we could have hoped for and my grandson talks about his time with them to this day. He is only 4 years old but they taught him how to zipline ON HIS OWN! and they patiently taught him how to snorkel. He ask about his friend Rod and asks when can he go see him and play with him again. We will definitely have to plan another trip and maybe this time we can take him swimming with the whale sharks. The time spent with Rod and his team was the best part of our vacation. Thank you so much. OH, and really loved the photo album he put together for us.
