Did not disappoint. Can't wait to reurn! I just returned from an amazing trip to Roatan with a week long stay at Infinity Bay Resort and spa with my sister, friends, and dad. This is the second time in a year to stay at this resort and both times were amazing. The staff is so attentive to every detail. I was met at the airport by the transport team and greeted by the front desk staff upon my arrival. Danery and the entire front desk/concierge team took care of any requests we had and set up specific excursions requested by our group. The staff at the restaurant and bar were fantastic and even went so far to make us special drinks we requested. We had 4 different units on the property and all were spacious with clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, and full kitchen, dining, and living space. The outdoor covered patios gave us a nice place to sit and talk and enjoy the tropical climate. The two pools are big enough to never be too crowded. I loved the proximity to both the pool and beach. Having the spa and dive shop on site gave us all we needed in one resort with wonder staff making it an easy vacation spot. The night snorkling excursion off the resort beach was amazing. I can't wait to return to Rostan and this resort.

Location. Pool. Beach. Excellent resort. Traveled with my sister. Pool and hot tub were adequate. Beach was perfect. Food everywhere was expensive by our standards, this resort included. Staff was very friendly. Buffet breakfast was delicious. We’ll probably stay here next time we visit.

WORST HOTEL EVER DO NOT COME HERE I had one of the worst experiences of my life here. The service is just horrible. They are so rude and have no decency whatsoever. They even told the manager I didn't want to pay for my drink when I simply asked how much it costs. The rooms were even worse. The bed was broken, there was gum on the chair, it smelled horrible when I first arrived and overall the rooms were disgusting. They don't care about you at all and will lie to you without feeling guilty they'll te you your room is near the beach and you'll get a room all the way in the back. Please don't come here if you wanna have a good time. There are better hotels around that same area. There are even little villas right next to the hotel that cost around the same if you want something more house like. Whatever you do do not come here.

Maintenance issues Water went out in unit more than once for multiple hours. Otherwise nice experience but this happened on two separate days. Not ideal. House keeping only came to the room when requested. The toilet stopped working and plumbers had to come fix it. Maintenance problems overall

Beware of conferences during low season I am disappointed about our stay at Infinity Bay Resort which we booked May 3-10 for a diving vacation. Scuba diving can be a risky sport if you are not well rested and prepared for your dive. We get a good night's sleep and don't drink before a day of diving so we can be safe and enjoy our time under water. We were impressed with the dive shop at Infinity Bay and had 2 days of wonderful diving with their team. The resort notified us on Tuesday, May 6 that they were hosting a conference and an "event" would take place in the middle of the complex on Wednesday night. We found out Wednesday that it this party would last until midnight. The club music was beyond loud and ear plugs didn't help. Although I went to the front desk in person to complain about the noise, all I was told was that it would be "escalated to upper management." I have no idea what families with kids were doing during this disruption. We were very tired Thursday but managed to enjoy our dives. When we checked out on May 10, we spoke in-person to the hospitality manager who said she hadn't heard about our issue before (so 4 days went by with no action by all of the people on staff who I spoke to, what a surprise), but she would "escalate it to upper management." We asked for a credit against our stay. We would not return to this resort again. After 2 weeks of messaging on WhatsApp we received a letter saying "Our leadership takes guest feedback very seriously and strives to ensure every guest’s experience meets the high standards we are known for. After a thorough review, they kindly approved a discounted rate for a future stay as a gesture of goodwill." Although it was a smaller problem, no one came to clean our room or change our towels once the conference started on Wednesday. The high notes--The dive shop staff were fantastic and breakfast was good. For dinner there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable and the refrigerator and microwave were convenient.

AMAZING Experience in Roatan with Cruise Day Pass REVIEW OF DAY PASS ONLY! Booked a day pass for the day our cruise ship was in port. The facilities are top-notch! Everything is clean and there are security guards patrolling to make sure your belongings remain safe while you are enjoying the pool or the beautiful beach and sea! We received a voucher for one free alcoholic OR non-alcoholic drink per person and the password for their included wifi. Lunch was not included and was a little pricey, but was worth it and their menu is quite extensive - from traditional foods like burgers and pizza to pastas, seafood, sushi, etc. We plan on getting another day pass here next time we are on a cruise with a stop in Roatan. 10/10 WOULD DEFINITELY recommend!!

Great but avoid Sunwing Great resort although it’s starting to slip as things were not the same as previous years. Most staff were amazing especially in the restaurant and beach area. Music st the beach at times too loud, Please beware of the Sunwing excursions. The Westend trip with the glass bottom boat was a disaster should have been cancelled due to rough conditions. But despite my efforts there was no refund even though several people felt ill and very little was seen. Book the glass bottom boat that runs outside the resort instead. Although more money it was great in previous years. Last concern don’t use anything in the unit as they have tried to charge me for a broken carafe 4 days after checking out. Of course i didn’t break it and most of my emails have been ignored. Sadly things have slipped

BEWARE POOLSIDE BATHROOMS!!!!!!!! We just spent a week at the resort and had a fantastic time. We have already decided to return March of next year. The room was great, the food was wonderful, and the staff and service was excellent. I cant imagine a better location for snorkelers as the gorgeous reef is just a few strokes from the beach. BEWARE THE POOLSIDE BATHROOMS!!!! The newer pool toward the back of the resort is nice, as are the bathrooms built around it. However the bathroom privacy glass is totally ineffective at night when the light is on inside the bathroom. Everyone outside can see EVERTYTHING in detail! Horrible design choice by the resort and something I hope is fixed soon! I feel badly for the woman that was using the facility when we were outside and for any women/young girls who will be using it without knowing of the defect. To me this is not only a profound privacy issue but a safety issue as well.

The resort was beautiful, but the customer service was not great. The resort was beautiful. The customer service was lacking. We were unknowingly given the wrong room number. After walking all around looking for the room, we couldn't get in. We got new key cards, but when we got in there was people's stuff all over. We walked into someone else's room. Every afternoon it was very noisy from construction, so it was hard to nap. Our thermostat battery was low, so the AC kept turning off and it was miserably hot. We had to ask THREE times to get new batteries in it and they never did replace them.

Great beach location, helpful staff, and clean. This is a large resort with condo style accommodations. There are 2 big nice pools, although they were out of towels for the 1st 2 days of our stay. Cruise ships passengers can buy day passes so the pool area can be crowded. The food at the pool bar is good but pricey. The reef is 50yds off the beach and offers fabulous snorkeling. There are also several cats on property that we enjoyed. Our package included breakfast and the buffet was somewhat limited but good. There are also all inclusive packages that can be purchased.

Great Resort and Excellent Location What a tremendously awesome resort in West Bay Area. The entire team that works the resort are very accommodating and kind. We enjoyed getting to know the lobby and palapa staff. The breakfast we had each day was wonderful. The pools and property are super clean and right by a walkable beach with incredible snorkeling right off the beach. Our room was very nice and bed comfortable. The shuttle drivers were awesome.

One of our favourite places This was our second time at Infinity Bay and it was just as great as the first. The location/beach: You can’t beat the location if you love to snorkel/dive. The reef is right in front of the hotel and you could spend the whole day in the water. If you like to walk the beach it’s perfect for that, and safe enough to walk through the area around the hotel and look at all the oceanfront homes. The food: The selection is small but the quality is very good! There were often some more authentic options mixed in with Americanized options. The service: The staff here are incredible. They are willing to help with whatever you need and are very attentive! If you need something truly just ask. The pool: The pool had been expanded since our first visit, it’s very large, very clean and there are tons of loungers. We never had issues finding a chair around the pool or beach. The room: We were in a one bedroom room. They are condos so you do get a full kitchen and living room as well as a separate bedroom and bathroom. This really makes you feel at home. Each room is decorated differently depending on the condo however they are very clean. The whole resort has a state of the art filtration system so they don’t give you bottled water in your room, you actually drink the tap water. So bring a reusable water bottle. The only thing that may be a negative is there isn’t much entertainment here. It doesn’t bother us at all but if you like to party into the night it’s more of a chill, relaxed vibe here with some live music and good conversation. We will continue to come back here for sure! And highly recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Roatan

Infinitely wonderful Infinity Bay Infinity Bay is a oasis of beautiful gardens, lovely swimming pools (2), and it fronts beautiful West Bay Beach. It boasts a first class dive shop, two restaurants and a beautiful pool bar. There’s also a gym on site. Gardeners keep the grounds looking beautiful each day. There are one, two, and three bedroom condos available there, all with nice views and in close proximity to the beach. Maid service is included. It’s easy to walk to dinner along West Bay Beach or to take a water taxi to the West End. The staff are what makes this place shine a little bit more. They are unfailingly friendly and strive to make your stay special. Dannery Fisher keeps things moving at the front desk. They go out of their way to greet us and to remember who we are from year to year. Oscar keeps food and beverage service top notch. We have our favorite servers at the resort as well (Helder, Gorge, Francis, Kiven and many others). Helder, also known as Otto, makes omelets and eggs to order like no one else. A small grocery,a fruit and vegetable store, liquor store and pharmacy are within walking distance so no car is necessary. The area is very safe with security guards keeping a discreet eye on things all over the West Bay Area. Wi-Fi isn’t the best, so don’t try working from home while vacationing. The famed reef there is struggling, probably due to many visitors and climate change. There are still a variety of fish to see, but I wish the government would limit the number of cruise passengers allowed per day on that beach and reef. We continue to return each winter and are already making plans for next year. Infinity is getting pricier, but there are more affordable accommodations on West Bay Beach.

Solid: no major surprises We chose the resort in order to be close to snorkeling. And it was awesome. Found all the staff at the resort to be very friendly and helpful from desk staff to waiters to towel stand. I am not sure we’ve been to a place with such a big drinking crowd and really large groups of older people all-day day drinking in the pool, the bar, in the surf, etc. I was just kind of surprised and we don’t drink so the scene took a bit to get used to. I don’t think this was unique to this resort. We were not bothered much by it and also didn’t mind the cruise ship guests or when more people in the area. They were mellow and just enjoying the beach or pool or reef. Really liked the live (mostly musicians) entertainment at the resort. It was common at nearly every place we ate dinner along the beach and added a lot to the atmosphere. Thought breakfast was really good. Ate at beach restaurant and liked it too. Similar to the other places in West Bay. Other reviews mention the place being dated and housekeeping spotty. Agree and agree I wanted more soap and shampoo and it was not replenished. I also didn’t call or ask as I am sure they’d bring more when requested as I noted the staff very accommodating. I guess that is why I say the place is solid. It was as expected. Was perhaps a little overpriced but was happy there. We loved the west bay beach, trying places for dinners, gorgeous sunsets, and snorkeling.

Thumping music The music from the beach bar is for the bartenders not the guests. It's so loud you can't eat in the restaurant. When it's turned down the base is so high all you hear is thumping noise. I am here now. Early in the morning every chair on the beach has a towel on it. At 10.30 still most are empty. Never been to a resort where you can reserve a chair for the entire day and not sit there. The place is beautiful the staff are great. Just not relaxing. Bring your ear plugs. There are plenty of other places to eat along the beach.

3 family Christmas vacation Our 3 families (10 people total) stayed in 3 different 1BR pool view condos for 6 nights. The resort and condos are in need of some TLC. Our condo did not have hot water for the first day until the maintenance man worked on it for several hours. We only had housekeeping to "clean" on 2 days, even though I called multiple times. When they came, it was very minimal. Had to beg for more soap and shampoo and towels. Cats are Everywhere and they feed them. Not something I want on vacation. People are allowed to save beach chairs possibly for several days. We were there multiple days and Lots of empty beach chairs with towels on them. One of our condos had obviously been part of a bigger condo. It had a locked connecting door next to the bathroom. You could hear EVERYTHING the people in the other room were saying as if they were in the same room. It didn't have a front door, only 2 sliding glass doors. We would have moved had there been any other vacant condos. Pool area was fantastic. Breakfast buffet just okay. Food average, servers hover over you wanting to take dirty plates as soon as you lay down your fork. Bar food was good. Employees mostly unfriendly and not big on customer service. Nonchalant attitudes. Snorkeling off the beach was the BEST snorkeling I've done in 30 years!!!! Swim out to 3 buoys and turn left for some awesome coral and beautiful fish. Night snorkeling was wonderful as well. We used Roatan 5 Star Tours for 3 days for excursions and were super impressed with their flexibility and kindness. Airport is very small and HOT! Expect long lines and close quarters. Shuttle to and from resort is supposedly included. We took the shuttle from the airport and were pleased. When we tried to schedule the shuttle to return to the airport, the resort stated they only offer it at specific times. So we had to pay to return to the airport. Not happy about that. Overall, the resort is okay, but when we return to Roatan we will look elsewhere to stay.

Group friends in December 2024 We had a mix of 12 people, including families with children, couples, friends, and a vegetarian, Dec 16 to 23rd, 2024. The rooms at Infinity bay are great. Some of us had 2 bedroom units, others had 1 bedroom. Kitchens very well equipped in all units, including microwaves and ovens, blender, large fridges with ice machines. The water at the resort is drinkable from the tap as they have a million dollar filtration system at the resort. Large comfortable balconies as well. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds! Water pressure was lacking and took a while to get hot, but it was HOT! A few guests mentioned that the rooms were dated, but personally I was really happy with them. I could maybe say that about the chairs or furniture, but overall loved the rooms. The food was fantastic at the buffet. We chose the all inclusive plan so every meal we had at the buffet except on Friday night which was at the beach. We overall preferred the buffet. There was something for everyone there. In the mornings there were muffins, pastries and breads, eggs, potatoes, fruits and veggies, as well as a made to order omelet bar. Lunch and dinner had salad with tons of fresh veggie selections, as well as cooked veggie options, rice and potatoes, soup and usually 2 to 3 meat options, with one of the options being fish. Made to order Pasta for dinner as well. The drinks were strong and there was a lot of selection. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the resort, however, so meal plan is not necessary. The pools were very lovely albeit slightly on the cool side for some of us. There are many lounge chairs and we never had an issue finding a spot even for all 12 of us together. Several Bathrooms around the pool area that are kept clean. Entertainment is pretty much non-existent at the resort. One night there was a nice singer/guitar player. Apparently some nights there is a fire entertainer but we didn't see them. No music during the day or any activities going on. The Spa has tons of selection for facials, wraps, and massage services at decent prices. The gym was large and well equipped compared to other resorts we have stayed. It was free with the All-inclusive plan, but I believe $10 per day if AI is not purchased. Staff is very friendly throughout. Special shout out to Gardan, Francisco, the main bartenders! Tons of other shout outs including wait-staff, cleaners, security, etc. which made our trip that much better. The Diving center at the resort has everything you need, even a snorkel rental for the day, or wet suit. A number of us went diving, including a 10 year old. The in-class portion went over the basics and answered everyone's questions as it was everyone's first time. We went straight into the ocean from the beach and since it was wavy, it was difficult to practice what we learned and a few people gave up. I feel that it would have been much more beneficially to begin in the pool, especially with children. The ones that did go out, however, had a fantastic time, right off the beach. That was the discovery class which we found to be a great price. The beach directly off the resort has many vendors selling bracelets, swim shirts, sunglasses, and services such as hair braiding and massage. It can be a tad overwhelming but a simple "No Thank you" and they will move along. Mosquitos and Sand Fleas: It was windy enough that I only saw 1 mosquito in the time that we were there, but the sand fleas were crazy for 3 of the men in particular. None of the women or children seemed to be affected. I protected myself with a concoction I made myself with coconut oil, beeswax and essential oils, especially the lower legs/feet. Finally, The weather was fine the first few days but there were several days of rain. The beach wasn't as calm as a result of the weather so the visibility could have been better. There is a ton of coral directly out front of the resort so you really don't need to go far to snorkel. We did do a snorkel tour, however, that took us to a shipwreck, to see starfish, and a pirate wreck where all but a few things had disappeared. Was cool to see cannons there, though. I'd definitely be back. It's not a busy resort, quiet if you wanted it to be quiet, but you could definitely have a fun night at the bar if you so choose. This is right up my alley as my main focus was to relax. If you're looking to party or for nightlife/daytime fun, this isn't the place. If you're looking for a home away from home, this place is paradise. For a 4 star resort, I give this a 5 star!

Exceptional Resort! The resort is beautiful! We had a one bedroom, pool view room with a full kitchen. It was very comfortable. The resort offers a free, excellent buffet breakfast every morning and has a restaurant on the beach with different options for meals. We always had good food, and the bartender and wait staff were always friendly and efficient. You can walk right out to the beach and find many other eateries and activities.
