An outstanding resort! We just got back from Infinity Bay. I’ve not one complaint to make! Check in was quick and easy, and we were in our room well before “official” check in time. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Furniture was dated, but functional. There was a large stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery. We only used the fridge and two of the glasses! Breakfast was included and was outstanding. We found drink prices to be reasonable and every day the pool bar and the beach bar would have specials on. The swimming pools were lovely. There were plenty of chairs and loungers available. The beach was the star of the show! It’s so beautiful. I’ve seen several posts about pushy beach vendors and the massage ladies annoying tourists. I found everyone friendly and a polite “no thank you” if you weren’t interested was the end of it. Infinity Bay sell day passes to cruisers, I wouldn’t have even known they were there, it certainly didn’t seem overcrowded on cruise days. A special thanks to the friendly security staff, they certainly work hard and are a reassuring presence, however all the staff were hard working and friendly.

I would return I stayed at Infinity Bay in March of 2026 with a group of friends for a week. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would stay here again. Pros: - Beautiful coral reef in the ocean directly in front of the resort, just follow the ropes so you don't bump into the coral along the way. The hotel does not provide free snorkel stuff but you can rent it from a vendor by the hotel for 15$ for like 3-4 hours. - Nice large rooms with comfortable beds -Extremely friendly staff -Decent gym for being a hotel gym and it has 24/7 access -The international buffet thats included in the all inclusive deal has limited options but all of the options were fresh and delicious. Way different than a typical all inclusive resort where I feel like i'm eating defrosted food at a hometown buffet. This felt like a home cooked meal made fresh by someone who loves you. Cons: -There is zero education about reef conservation. The only thing I saw was a little video playing amongst their slideshow of resort photos at the check in desk that showed coral reef being grown and transplanted. For how bleached and damaged the reef is I really wish they would take the time to have some educational materials or signs or anything. Even the gift shop sold non-reef safe sunscreen :( This really bothered me.... -They rent out beach chairs to cruise ship individuals so unless you find a chair at 9am you will not get a lounger at the pool or the beach for the rest of the day. -The all inclusive alcohol option was not worth it at all. It is not a full bar like most all inclusive resorts. You get a separate "all inclusive" drink menu that you can order from and the alcohol is all rail. At one point the server pulled out Mr Boston vodka which I haven't drank since I was a poor freshman in college! No one in our friend group could catch a buzz either. I'm not sure if the alcohol is watered down or if they just don't pour them as strong as in the states but if I return I will not be doing all inclusive alcohol again. I almost felt like the servers treated you worse when they saw your all inclusive band despite us still tipping very well. -Check in was way later than 3pm. They kept saying "the manager is checking to see if your room is ready" every 30 mins. We finally just went to the bar and came back hours later to our room being ready. I plan on coming back to roatan and I think i'd do infinity bay again. The biggest takeaway was to bring your own reef safe sunscreen, yell at the dummys who stand on the coral reef, and don't do the all inclusive alcohol! :)

Dear Sierra S,Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your recent stay with us at Infinity Bay. We truly appreciate your kind words about our team, our spacious accommodations, and especially the reef—one of Roatán’s most valuable natural treasures. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed your experience overall and are considering returning. We also sincerely appreciate your constructive feedback, as it helps us continue improving.Regarding reef conservation, we fully agree with your concern. Protecting our reef is a responsibility we take seriously, and your comments are very valuable. We are currently working on enhancing our educational efforts across the property, including clearer signage, guest awareness materials, and reviewing the products offered in our gift shop to ensure they align with reef-safe standards. In reference to beach and pool loungers, we understand how important comfort and availability are during your stay. As a beachfront resort located on West Bay Beach, which is a public beach, we do welcome day visitors in designated areas. However, we are actively reviewing our procedures to better manage chair availability and ensure a more balanced experience for our in-house guests.Regarding the all-inclusive beverage experience, we appreciate your candid feedback. We are currently reviewing our beverage offerings, including product selection and presentation, to ensure they meet guest expectations and reflect the quality standards of the resort. Your comments will be part of that evaluation. We also apologize for the delay you experienced at check-in. While we always aim to have rooms ready at our standard check-in time, there are occasions where high occupancy and turnover can cause delays. That said, this is not the experience we want for our guests, and we are reinforcing internal processes to improve efficiency. It means a great deal to us that despite these points, you would consider staying with us again. We look forward to welcoming you back and providing an even better experience on your next visit.Warm regards,Infinity Bay Management Team

Infinity Bay Honest Review Just got back from an incredible stay at Infinity Bay, and while it was the best vacations ever! Here is our honest review. Good and Bad. **Pros:** -Room 1003-We rented a gorgeous beachfront one-bedroom on the second floor that totally exceeded our expectations. The decor was on point, and that huge hammock was much appreciated. The views and sunsets were breathtaking! - Awesome Location- The resort is perfectly situated. You can snorkel right from the beach, no excursions neededz - Timing-We went during Holy Week, which is usually a mad rush, but it wasn't overly crowded at all. - Shrimp Heaven- Don’t skip the shrimp at the palapa bar! The coconut and bang bang shrimp were absolutely delicious. **Cons:** - Check-In Woes-The check-in process was a bit of a hassle. We got there right on time but didn’t get into our room until 7 PM. It felt a little chaotic. - Menu Pricing- We went without the all-inclusive package and paid as we went, but the prices on the menu never matched what we were charged, especially for drinks. We were getting overcharged every time. Also, they include gratuity on the tab as well. It’s writing in Spanish, and we didn’t know, so we basically tipped twice as we also tipped 20% cash. Figured that out at the end of our trip. - Beer Mix-Ups-The beer taps were hit or miss. Four out of five times, we ended up with the wrong beer. - Slow Bar Service-The service at the palapa bar could definitely be faster. It took about 20 minutes on average to get a drink. - **Coffee Struggles**: The coffee pot in our room was a cold press, and let’s just say it didn’t make the best cup of coffee. That’s on us, though! Overall, despite a few hiccups, this trip was amazing, and we are already planning our return! If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway with killer views and tasty food, Infinity Bay is a solid choice!

Dear Always.Smiling2021,Thank you for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review of your recent stay with us at Infinity Bay. We’re truly pleased to hear that your vacation was one of your best and that you are already planning to return—that means a lot to our entire team. We’re especially glad you enjoyed your beachfront unit, the breathtaking views, and the unique experience of snorkeling right off our beach. And we couldn’t agree more—the shrimp at the Palapa is definitely a guest favorite! At the same time, we sincerely appreciate you pointing out areas where we can improve. Please accept our apologies for the delay during your check-in. Arriving on time and receiving your room several hours later is not the experience we aim to provide. We are actively reinforcing our operational processes to ensure better efficiency, particularly during high-demand periods such as Holy Week.Regarding menu pricing and billing, we take this matter seriously. All prices are clearly established, and gratuity is included as part of our service standards; however, we understand how this may not always be clear to all guests. We are currently working on improving communication and transparency on menus and checks to avoid any confusion and ensure a smooth dining experience. We also appreciate your comments on bar service and beer consistency. These are areas we are actively reviewing with our Food & Beverage team to improve both speed and accuracy, especially during peak hours. As for the in-room coffee setup—your feedback is noted, and we will certainly review options to enhance that small but important detail of the guest experience. It’s wonderful to know that despite these points, your overall experience was memorable and enjoyable. We truly look forward to welcoming you back and providing an even more seamless and exceptional stay on your next visit.Warm regards,Infinity Bay Management Team

Chair Hogs ruin the beach experience. You may want to rethink Infinity Bay, especially if you plan to spend any time on the beach there. The chair hogs get up early and block the prime spots. I took this photo at 645am. Three hours later the folks who claimed these chairs still hadn't shown up. The staff will not or cannot do anything about it. This happend each day for the 3 days we were there (March 22-25, 2026). This happens by the pool also. They come down early, claim the best spots and go back to bed. Most show up several hours later. I find this aggravating, very rude and extremely inconsiderate. We paid a premium rate for our unit and was never given the opportunity to have beach front seating all while the chairs sat empty for a large portion of the morning and afternoon. Perhaps you may want to reconsider staying at Infinity Bay. Too bad too, its a beautiful resort with an excellent staff. But to pay for something you can't use doesn't interest me. There are other resorts nearby that may be more attentive to the needs of their guests and do not allow this kind of rude, entitled behavior. It's sad really.
Reply from roatan.travel 2026.03.28
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating this situation can be, and we agree that reserving chairs for extended periods without being present is inconsiderate to other guests. This is not the experience we want anyone to have, especially when enjoying our beach and pool areas. While we do have guidelines in place regarding unattended items, enforcement has not been as consistent as it should be. Based on feedback like yours, we are reinforcing our policies with the team to better manage chair usage and ensure fair access for all guests. We truly appreciate you also recognizing the beauty of the resort and the efforts of our staff. Your comments are valuable and help us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with the full experience you expected.Warm regards,Management TeamInfinity Bay Resort

Perfect first time location for Roatan I stayed at Infinity Bay in March 2026 and it was genuinely one of the best resorts I have experienced; fun, reasonably priced, great service, and outstanding facilities and amenities. We stayed in a Premier Queen Studio, which was perfect for a couple, nicely appointed, with a kitchen, living area, and small balcony. The pools are huge, so even on days with major cruise ships in town, they did not seem crowded at all. Also, there's staff and security on site so we felt completely safe. A major component of the stay was the breakfast, which was fantastic--they had tons of options, fresh fruit, an omelette station, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. Everything was clean, the staff were helpful and professional, and the resort is directly on the ocean with some of the best snorkelling on the island that you can swim directly out to. We ventured off the resort to dive and see other parts of Roatan, but it was nice to come back to the comfort of IB. We had a glitch with our check in b/c we were delayed a day, but Daneri helped us and made sure we were taken care of (and gave us a great restaurant rec to boot), and Tanisha was helpful and patient in breakiing down our bill and getting us transport to the airport. If this is your first time in Roatan (or your second, or third...), I would really recommend IB.

Huge Letdown This is our 4th time at Infinity Bay, the last time was 2020 just before the pandemic. Our experience today has been very disappointing! The service to the table is almost nonexistent. Staff is slow and couldn’t care less. The amount of unruly and unsupervised children screaming in the pool all day and night is unacceptable. The one hot tub is always occupied with children when it clearly states adults only. No one comes around to in force the rule. We choose this place as it has been an adults only property. My invoice also states this. See attached photo. The beach strip is terrible during the day. Overrun with vendors nonstop harassing to sell shirts, excursions, braiding and massages. No where to hide from the constant annoyance unless you get up at 5 am. Too many daily cruise ships dropping people and ruining the reef. Sad to see a beautiful go downhill.

Thank you for returning to Infinity Bay and for sharing your feedback. We truly value your loyalty over the years, and we’re very sorry to hear that this visit did not meet your expectations. We acknowledge the concerns you raised regarding service levels, pool environment, and rule enforcement. This is not the standard we aim to deliver, and we are reinforcing supervision in the pool and hot tub areas, as well as improving service attentiveness with our team.We would also like to clarify that Infinity Bay is not an adults-only property. We are a family-friendly resort, and we regret any confusion that may have been created in your documentation. That said, maintaining a respectful and enjoyable environment for all guests is a priority, and we will continue to improve enforcement of designated areas such as the hot tub.Regarding beach vendors and cruise visitors, these are factors that affect the entire West Bay Beach area. However, we continue working with local authorities and partners to help manage these interactions and preserve the guest experience as much as possible. We truly appreciate your candid feedback, as it helps us identify where we need to improve. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the experience you have enjoyed in the past.Warm regards,Management TeamInfinity Bay Resort

Horrible Customer Service and Poor Value We had booked this resort in 2025 with the silver package. The resort stated they included WiFI, towels, and use of the beach. When we arrived, we were advised towels were not included. After showing proof of what was promised and discussion they finally gave us towels. The customer service at this hotel is probably about the worst I have seen in my extensive travel over the past 5 years. The area that they place people in is the worst spot of the resort. We were not allowed to sit on the outside beach chairs. The WiFi was was allegedly down the entire 6 hours while at the resort so they only took cash for everything. I would not come back to this resort even if they offered it for free. Try the other local spots on West Beach instead.

Not great Not a great experience for us. When we arrived at 9 AM there were no chairs available after we had reserved months ahead of time and already paid. The attempts to help us find chairs were horrible. The main guy at the front desk in charge of the day passes could have cared less. He spent more time on his cell phone than helping us. We ended up having to sit at the restaurant the entire time we were there due to no chairs. There was no attempt to make it right by the hotel. Their only saving grace was their driver, Hector. I would avoid this place and go to the Kimpton instead- that’s where we originally going to go and we were sad we weren’t there.

All Inclusive...not exactly Starting with the pros. The staff is very friendly, the grounds are Immaculate with established landscaping. The room was spacious with its own kitchenette and the pools were very warm and inviting. You're all inclusive red or white armband includes a wide selection of cocktails beer and wine. The cons: Your all inclusive meal ticket only includes the buffet. The beach restaurant you get 50% off of that menu which VERY high priced. When we arrived there was an all inclusive menu that had a very nice selection of options all at no cost at the beach restaurant. After that first day though, we were told that menu is ONLY available to newcomers or those who had an excursion that returned late afternoon. Regulars that paid for all inclusive were denied the all inclusive menu items (see attached) at the beach restaurant. If you didn't manage to catch the buffet during the posted hours you had a choice of 2 snacks; one lukewarm and the other a fruit selection. Only when we took this matter to the Food and beverage manager at the front desk did we get to name drop his name for any future issues regarding the beach restaurant. The food at the buffet was limited and of good quality but with a choice of 3 to 4 mains it was left wanting compared with other 4 Stars in the Caribbean we have visited. Housekeeping was very inconsistent not filling up coffee packets nor cleaning or replacing towels. Bring your own shampoo etc.what they supply is low quality. Some days all they did was make up the bed. Recommend if you do stay here go non all inclusive. There are many beach restaurants you can choose from that have much more options at great prices. Overall this is a premium priced resort not coming close to delivering the basic all inclusive experience. We will not be returning.

Lovely resort best service Congratulations if you are staying at Infinity Bay, they have the best service, the pool is absolutely fantastic, the service was the best, the waitress Amy was the best, I have stayed at this hotel four times and we are definitely delighted with it. My son got sick with a stomach virus on the island and Amy kindly helped us prepare sparkling water with lime and something else. which was magical. My son wsuddenly well enough to enjoy the vacation. The kitchen staff was lovely, preparing me some eggs Benedict, and I loved the hotel ,again we will definitely be back for our fifth and tenth visits. Lovely.

Fantastic Vacation Infinity Bay Resort is amazing. Every member of the staff was very polite, always there to help and always greeted us with a welcoming smile. The grounds and pools were in immaculate condition, always clean and we had no problems finding loungers, although there were people who marked loungers with towels and didn't use them for hours. We chose the all inclusive plan and found the food, the variety and especially the servers were beyond excellent. Thank you Kirby, Stephanie, Paulo and Carla. You made mealtime a pleasure. The only negative thing I would say is that rooms are a bit outdated. It was cool while we were there, 23°, and sargassum took over the beach limiting our snorkeling but we toured the island with a private guide who showed us places and sites that organized tours don't. Jorge Ramirez, of Ramirez Adventures Roatan, picked us up from the airport and on two tours, shared his expertise and knowledge of Roatan to give us a most memorable experience. I highly recommend Jorge. He is an honest, sincere guide with very reasonable rates. Thank you Infinity Bay Resort and Ramirez Adventures.

Roatan's Best Resort We are annual guests of Infinity Bay, since 8 years. The resort is consistently a great experience, and we seldom feel a need to update our review, until this year. The entire resort has been restored to almost-new condition: all buildings painted -- water and electric systems updated -- new tile roofs -- wifi now quite reliable. There have been almost no electric "glitches", with the resort's backup generators quickly kicking in. The new pool is finished and there are more tables & umbrellas. Breakfast has returned to more buffet style, which speeds the whole process. Front desk staff is effective and efficient. Maid service has proven to be steady, and adaptable if you speak a bit of Spanish. With the Meso American Reef 100 meters off shore of West Bay, snorkeling and diving are easy and safe. Unfortunately the reef continues to suffer due perhaps to elevated water temperatures as so many tropical reef structures are afflicted; however we discovered a couple of rare fish species this week none-the-less. We are "hard graders" and seasoned international travelers - we have very high standards. We recommend Infinity Bay without reservation.

avoid this property we have been to infinity bay about a dozen times. It is a beautiful resort. But will not return again. We recentluy spent 3 weeks there. When we arrived our patio was flooded and we had sand bags at our door. it stayed flooded for a week. The hot tub was not working for 2 weeks. and a week after we arrived they ran out of beach towels. they told us the dryer was broken, so for about 10 days we would have to wait an hour or more to exchange our towels. then our ceiling in our room started leaking. maintenence came and fixed it. but it happened 2 more nights. So they asked us to change rooms. We packed everything up and waited for another room, but werent told until i walked to the front desk at about 3 pm, to find out we couldnt move until the next day. almost a week later the new room started leaking and flooded our bathroom floor. Maitenence fixed it, but a few days later the same thing happened. they fixed it again, and it worked for the last 2 days we were there. This used to be a wonderful property, but the maintenence and management are lacking. It is a very expensive place to stayt during high season, and no where near worth the costs.

Awful customer service. Feels like a trap. Beware the seafood pasta it gave my son food poisoning The service is the worst. It’s a shame because the resort is nice and a good location. The dive shop was great. But the rest of the staff ignore the gusts and only provide slow service when you go find them and ask twice for help. The food is mid tier at a high tier price And my son got food poisoning from the seafood pasta.

Dear Todd, thanks for your review. We are very sorry to hear that your son is not feeling well. Unfortunately, there is currently a stomach virus affecting many people across the island, and it is not specific to Infinity Bay. We’ve seen cases reported in different properties and areas. Please rest assured that at Infinity Bay we are implementing enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols similar to those used during COVID. All vegetables are thoroughly disinfected, our water is fully purified, we cook only with purified water, and all ice is purchased from a certified purified water supplier. We are taking every possible precaution to protect our guests.Wishing your son a quick recovery.Cesar Padilla

Beautiful resort The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast included is amazing!!!!! The only downside is that we booked a room with a partial ocean view and we were in the last building and overlooked the parking lot, no ocean view whatsoever!!!! Very secure and friendly employees and the pool is also amazing!!!!

A different vacation this year My family and I traveled for our 6th time to Infinity Bay and beautiful Roatan. This was a different vacation compared to what we have come to expect. The weather was cooler and less humid. The sun peaked through from time to time. The beach was lively with a sargassum episode. We were very grateful for the choices available to us at Infinity Bay. We spend much time by the beautiful swimming pools and lingered over breakfast a little longer. We walked around and explored the local establishments on the land side of the resort. The new coffee shop - Bean Crazy - is delightful and the prices are reasonable. Java Jive Coffee shop is a favorite as well. The mall has a new gift shop that will do some bargaining for local hand made objects. The cigar shop kept my husband guessing in a fun way about their business hours. We wanted to make note of some special people that helped us. Behind the front desk, Danery Fisher, Roger lujan, Kerry Bennet and Naydelin were consistently friendly and worked hard to make our trip as pleasant as we have come to expect from this resort. We are very grateful to them. Every day, Melissa Guzman from the housekeeping staff was at our door with a smile and kindly helped me to speak better Spanish. She was quick and efficient always keeping our room clean and sand free. Stephanie and her colleagues in the kitchen (please forgive me for not getting the names of the head chef and the two men who manned the lines and omelet station) make wonderful baleadas and empanadas and fresh eggs in as many ways as I could think of to challenge them with a smile and kindness. Asking for “crunchy” bacon no problem, they have you covered. Thank you, Inifnity Bay, for all you do and your amazing staff. The people truly make the difference.

Dear Anne,Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing Infinity Bay for your 6th visit to Roatán. That loyalty truly means the world to us.While this trip may have looked a little different with the cooler weather and the sargassum episode, we are so grateful that you embraced the experience and enjoyed the many options around the resort — from relaxing by our pools to exploring the local shops and coffee spots. Your recognition of our team members means more than you know. Danery, Roger, Kerry, and Naydelin at the front desk will be so happy to hear your kind words. Melissa from housekeeping is truly a gem, and we love that she helped you practice your Spanish! And of course, Stephanie and our kitchen team will be smiling knowing their baleadas, empanadas, omelets — and even “crunchy” bacon — made your mornings special. You said it perfectly: the people truly make the difference. We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful that you took the time to recognize them individually. We look forward to welcoming you back for visit number seven — hopefully with sunshine and calm seas!

Best Beach in the Caribbean! I stayed in a studio furthest away from the beach so no view, but the room was awesome. Too big for me. Full kitchen was perfect. Nice Bathroom as well. Grounds were well taken care of. Pools were clean & breakfast (Included in all inclusive) had plenty of everything. Lunch & dinner by the pool pricy but good quality food & drinks. Best snorkeling in the Caribbean in my opinion. Unfortunately, I picked one of the worst weeks to visit, stormy days & rough waters 5 out of the 7 days I was there. Early November. Rainy season. If I could do it all over again, I would have paid the extra money to go in April or May (Driest season). NOTE: I rated my experience "Poor" because of the horrible weather, nothing to do with resort.
