Really nice resort but! This is a really nice resort. The staff is excellent. The rooms are large and well maintained. If you select having just the breakfast instead of choosing all-inclusive, you will not be disappointed, as it is a full selection of well-cooked food that will please all guests. The beach is excellent as advertised, but be warned that it can be crowded, and the vendors that sell on the beach are persistent. We went to Roatan for the snorkeling and though there are not many fish to see directly in front of the resort, if you go the south end of the beach, the fish there are in abundance as they know they will be fed by the bathers. You should only feed the fish with cat food, the small pellet type that can be bought at the supermarket, and if you go further out at the front of the resort with the cat food, the fish there will appear. Now to the issues that for a highly rated resort are curiously omitted. There isn’t a radio alarm clock in the bedroom; nor a phone – there is only one and that is in the kitchen; there are no notepads or pens anywhere; though it is a large-screen TV, there is no card showing the list of channels, plus the picture quality is poor and when you find the page on the TV that has the list of channels – it doesn’t display what is on those channels, as it says ‘sans information’ for every channel. Now I know you don’t go on vacation to just watch TV, but it is nice once in a while, regrettably though all the information on the TV is in Spanish. Also with the TV is that although the pay channels are listed, such as Disney+, HBO, Starz, Netflix etc, they are not provided, and I was told that I needed my membership logon to those channels to be able to watch them. They would only set up those pay channels if you had that information with you. Additionally, there are no USB charging outlets in the accommodation, so you need a USB adaptor to charge your devices. The A/C is in a closet and it is loud, so is the coffee maker, at least in our room. It is a typical resort that only uses 1-ply toilet rolls, which is false economy as I use 4 times as much as a regular 2-ply roll. When it came to checking out, the day before leaving I wanted to go online to print my boarding passes but they do not have a computer station that you can use. I know these days that you can do it on your phone and get the boarding passes sent to your email, but you can’t print them from your phone.

Just ok We have been here twice and the resort is showing its age, the grounds are kept really clean, but it definitely needs a remodel. The room we were in had dated, well worn furniture. Was not the cleanest room. I don't think it is worth the price they charge. When we visited they were in the midst of building a huge new pool area. Not sure why because the large pool they already have is rarely busy. It is located right on the beach and walkable to many restaurants which was great. Snorkeling right off the beach is wonderful!

Bad customer service Worst customer service ever. First we had to call 3x for linens. Then towels. Most recently we arrived at the front desk at 10:32 for our shuttle only to find they left without us. The hotel was unwilling to cover or even split the cost of another transfer. After having spent a week and thousands of dollars they refused to help. My advice. Go elsewhere. Plenty of other nice hotels who really care about the customer experience.

Good resort, great dive shop, but could improve Great condo type room with full kitchen, dining, and living room. Pool area is large and beautiful. The reef just off the beach is the reason to stay. They also have a wonderful dive shop. The breakfasts have a good omelet bar and plenty of additional options to satisfy most. They need to step up their game when it comes to the bar and restaurant. Service is fine, but compared to Sea Cat just down the beach the food is subpar. It’s not even close to the same level and is more expensive. They could use better and more shade in the pool and beach areas. The next issue is that there is no hospital on the island. That’s unacceptable. The resorts need to band together and put pressure on govt. I don’t think I would return until a hospital is built. Accidents of all kinds can occur and where would you go for help?

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE EXTRA CHARGE The resort is outstanding, beautiful. But we just made a group reservation, one person canceled and the hotel charges the same amount of the beginning, saying that they give us credit, but charge still same amount of the first contract. The reservation people and front desk was very rude, very unprofessional very bad customer service, that was a very bad experience.

Great Location but Do Not Make My Mistakes The location is amazing. The snorkeling was some of the best off-the-beach experience we have found at any resort. We enjoyed floating in the current along the reef to the end of the bay! The room itself was as expected; maybe better. Unfortunately, my stay started with a very bad experience at reception. Construction. The workers were pounding just outside reception, making it difficult to even hear what was being said. The pounding made my head pound and that made the check-in experience even worse. I have booked many trips and have, in the past, seen resorts with construction warnings on their website. This allowed me to determine if I wanted to go to the resort while construction was going on. Infinity Bay’s website did not provide me with that information. Disappointing. I should also point out that we lost electricity and that the room internet access never worked after that. I had to assume that the construction was the cause of the electricity outage. I booked a one bedroom garden view unit but made the mistake of not increasing the adults to two on the day I booked, so the reservation was for one adult. At check in I was informed there was a $50 per day charge to allow my wife to stay in the room (a total of two people). With tax, I had to pay an additional $295 (5 nights) for two people to stay in a one bedroom unit. I was very unhappy with this but as I had a deposit of over $900 already paid and I was already there, I did not feel that I had a alternative. This started my stay with me feeling I had been taken for $295. I explained I would never have booked a Garden view unit for $365 when a Pool view was less. I, later, went online and verified that one person or two persons in a one bedroom garden view was the same price. That, of course, increased my feeling that the additional payment was not justified. I could understand adding a charge had we had third or fourth person to a one bedroom but charging for a second person was simply taking advantage of my innocent mistake. Being our first visit to Roatan, we decided to go with the all-inclusive option. We did not understand that there was only one restaurant with a very limited menu and very limited service times. Our mistake. Other than limited menu choices, we found that the food was often served cold and unappetizing (not worth the bother of eating). The one day we upgraded to lobster it was served over-cooked but at least the vegetables were hot. Again, I consider this our mistake for not checking other dining options prior to the visit. I would certainly not recommend the all-inclusive option to anyone staying more 2 days. We have stayed in many all-inclusive resorts around the Caribbean from 3-star to 5-star. We have never found such a limited menu and limited hours when we could eat. Certainly not the experience we thought we were paying for. The shuttle situation getting back to the airport could certainly be improved. Taking an 8:00 AM shuttle, arriving at the airport at 8:20) for a 12:30 PM flight is a bit ridiculous but the only option as the next shuttle was not until 10:30. A 9:30 shuttle, especially on a Sunday, would have been appreciated. I was told my option for leaving later was a $40 taxi ride. Three hours and thirty minutes at the airport was a long wait. I was also surprised to be told that there was no manager working on Sunday morning. My plan was to discuss all of these issues with the manager on duty only to be told that management does not work on Sunday. Imagine my surprise that there is no one in charge. I hope these comments do not come as a complete surprise as I asked the desk person at check-out to convey the information to management when they returned to work. West Bay is beautiful. The reef is wonderful. We will probably visit again. We had a good time in the water, but my wife said that she would probably not stay at Infinity Bay on our next visit. She simply is not sure she can trust Infinity Bay to treat us properly.

A gem in the rough. We had a lovely experience! The beach, the warm sunny weather, the snorkeling, the pool, the breakfast buffet, the service, the evening entertainment, were all great! Facilities were very well kept and clean. However, be aware the resort is situated in a developing country where poverty and squalor are common. Be aware that you will be constantly approached, especially when cruise ships are in port, by local vendors shouting out numerous products and services: tamales, tamales; banana-o-banana bread; sun glasses - good price; hey mama, hair braids for you, massage; t-shirts; cigars, cigars; bracelets ; taxi, taxi; jet ski for boss man $100/hr; doughnuts, get your doughnuts; hats; Mahogany, Mahogany; conch shells; ......and on and on. Sometimes these are useful products and services but the cacophony can be over-whelming if you are looking for peaceful beach experience. Armed security guards are present to discourage vendors from venturing onto resort proper. Be aware electricity outages can be a daily occurrence. Fortunately they have back up generators on site. Don't bother reseting the flashing clocks in units. Inconsistent water pressure and temperature was probably the most annoying experience in third floor unit. Might be better on lower levels. Our kitchen unit was not particularly well equipped for cooking - one very dull knife, inoperable can opener, no baking sheets, ineffective dishwasher most likely due to water pressure issues, etc. Knowing a little Spanish is very helpful interacting with locals. Small denominations of US currency are accepted and maybe even preferred by locals.

Infinity Stay We just returned from a stay at Infinity Bay Resort, what a great time! The staff were friendly and accommodating; from the Front desk area, the Activities counter to the onsite Property dive shop. I had my 1st exploration dive with a young lady instructor. It was a wonderful, safe experience I will never forget. SO Much Fun! Snorkeling and kayaking are available as well. The Breakfast buffet sets you up for the day with a wide variety of served hot foods and fresh fruits. The Palapa is available for lunch and dinner if you want to stay on site with beautiful sunsets and fun music. The water taxi is a great way to see the shoreline. You can stay as busy or relaxed as you want! The new pool and restaurant additions looked like they will be great, once open. The pool looked SO close to completion when we left. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Overall Good!! Solo trip to keep my Scuba Certification active. nice resort, beautiful beach, good food. I had the premium package and scuba add-on (Sunwing). There were some negatives but they were minor in nature. Sunwing has to work on their transfers! I ended up just paying for my own transportation to the airport. Bar/Wait Staff are on Island time and can be inattentive at times and Tips are expected but do not change service level (Would be nice if they would play Music for the guests and not just what they like) . Dive/Scuba shop and program are well run with lots of Dive Options. Avoid the Shark Dive as it is run by a different company and they are restrictive as to the equipment you are allowed to use (GoPros etc). Construction was no problem, hardly noticeable. (may be complete by the time I'm posting).

Mostly good, but transportation was painful. We arrived in Roatan on a Royal Caribbean cruise, and went straight to Infinity Bay Beach Resort with our day passes (pre-purchased on the resort's website: $96/adult, $78/child) to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. There was both good and bad: - POOL - OK. A nice large pool with ample lounge chairs, towels, shower stations, bathrooms, infinity pool edge facing the beach, and swim up bar. It was mainly quiet; nobody really used the pool much while we there. I think everyone was there for the beach! - BEACH - GOOD. Beautiful soft sand and clear water, with ample lounge chairs and shade by the palm trees at the back, and sun in the front. An armed guard stood/strolled around, which was at first a bit unsettling, but he was friendly and helpful, and we forgot he was there after a bit. A quick stroll in either direction down the beach brought us past many other resorts with different restaurants and amenities. Many vendors strolled the beach selling things like shirts, hats, sunglasses, photo ops with monkeys and parrots, local food, fresh pineapple and coconuts / drinks. Our daughter even got her hair braided at a stand down the beach a bit. There is a small dock at the end of the beach, offering many water activities / tours. There is supposedly great snorkeling around, but it seems to have been a bit further down the beach as we did not see anything much directly in front of the resort, but still the water was beautiful. - FOOD - OK/GOOD. The day pass included food and 3 drinks per person. The menu was fairly basic (burgers, fries, grilled chicken, nachos, pizza, etc), but there were a few additional nice items (ceviche, etc), and the food was generally well portioned and surprisingly good! The bar was pretty low key, never very busy, and seemed reasonably stocked. The drinks were ok, but nothing special, but not bad, and came in cheap plastic cups (not solo cups...the flimsy kind), but they worked. - TRANSPORTATION - BAD. With the day pass, we had reserved a shuttle from the cruise port to the resort, and back (additional $75). It was easy enough to find the stand as we exited the cruise terminal. However...I didn't know you could fit SEVEN passengers into a Toyota Land Cruiser, but that is how they had us, and we got the rear "seat". With this rear "seat" up, there is no room for luggage behind, so our beach bag was on our knees. Our knees were actually pinned up against the top of the seat in front of us. It was literally painful, and completely unacceptable for the price. And this was the case for the shuttle going in both directions. Overall, it was a nice relaxing time. A little expensive, but not surprisingly so for a Caribbean tourist area. I just wish our relaxing beach time hadn't ended with such a terrible transportation experience on our way back to the ship!

Never Again. Visited for a day. Way overpriced. You get lunch from a limited menu and 3 drink coupons. They can be used for Alcoholic drinks, water or soda. The only water available had to be purchased. Food was not very good and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes for them to serve it

Great beach and white sand. We had a great stay. Lawerence at the front desk greeted us and was very helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Dearsey at the front desk who helped us with the accommodations and a condo with a great view. Can't beat the beach, white sand and clear water. My husband loved the nightly music at the beach bar and we enjoyed the organic farm stand "Fresco Market", across the street to get veggies to snack on. We are definitely going to come back next year and we are looking forward to seeing the new pool!
