Don't waist your money - Stay somewhere else We had a poor experience at the Infinity Bay resort and I will write reviews reflecting this all over the internet. Our “garden view room” was 2001, the last apartment on the first floor next to the maintenance/housekeeping center, which was so loud by 6:30 - 7:00 am with workers screaming, laughing, dragging cleaning carts and equipment, etc. The second day at Infinity Bay, the toilet stopped working so we had to call maintenance to fix it. The third day, the air conditioner stopped working and we had to call maintenance again. The maintenance man said that the unit was frozen and he needed to go up to the roof to check the exterior unit. He said that he was coming back to the apartment but he didn’t. We spent the night in a hot room, so next morning we went personally to the front desk to find out what happened and learned that all the maintenance man did was to turn the system off. The front desk manager, Bryan, asked us when we were checking out and when he found out we were checking out in a couple of hours, he offered another room. We were leaving!!!! We should get at least one night’s refund for all the inconvenience that we experienced. Unfortunately, management doesn’t understand the importance of training front desk clerks. There were 2 desk clerks upon check in on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 pm, which created a long line of customers waiting to get checked in. The room was not ready upon our arrival, so we were given a free drink voucher and were told to head to the pool bar/restaurant. There were six bartenders at the pool bar. Six!, within a space that was comfortable enough for four. In the meantime, one front desk clerk was tied up with one client for over 30 minutes, leaving only one clerk available for all the new arrivals. Every time we called the front desk for information, there was no answer or the clerk just could not help. For example, I called asking the Spa hours to book a facial/massage and the clerk did NOT know, offer to find out information and call me back. So, we tried the free rum punch offered to us at the pool bar and I must say that it was horrible! All the drinks are low quality alcohol and overpriced (average $14.00 per drink). Breakfast was plentiful, so no complaints there. The place itself is in need of an update. The pool is missing tiles and is in need of a mega cleaning. The pool bar is dated and the bar top needs replacement. They also need pool umbrellas next to the pool chairs. I counted two in the entire resort. The only umbrellas are attached to the round tables. Snorkeling in the beautiful reef was outstanding!

Family Trip to Roatan week of June 18, 2026 Our family of 3 stayed at Infinity Bay June 18 -26 and we had a great time. We were there 20 years ago when only the Palapa bar was there. The resort itself was great, the breakfast buffet that was included was great. We did not do the all inclusive. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only bummer, which was big, was that someone opened the LOCKED safe in our room while we were out and stole $540 from us. I had a couple thousand dollars in there so maybe they didn't think I would notice? why not take it all? I brought it up to the front desk and was told "Sorry about that". Yes, so we won't be staying there again.

Infinity Bay - Derald Bailey is a gem! We had a great time with family and friends and its because of the professional and personal service Derald Bailey gave our family during our stay. Across the board when we would talk in our group of 20 travelers about service, Mr. Bailey's name repeatedly was mentioned. What an amazing experience it was to be served daily with such a smile and the most amazing will do attitude. Mr. Bailey will be remembered as a standout. Derald Bailey is a great big asset to this resort!

Great resort and great staff We love the Infinity Bay Resort. We recently stayed there for the third time. The location is great being able to snorkel any time we want. The pools are fabulous, right at the beach. The buffet breakfast is great with lots of choices. In particular, the staff were very kind and helpful. We met a delightful man, Derald Bailey, whom works with the food service. Meeting him was one of the highlights of our trip, giving us special memories to keep with us. He was always helpful, pleasant, and always went over and beyond to help us. Since we were there for awhile, he became a dear friend. We do have one suggestion for the management. Each of the apartments were stocked differently with kitchen supplies. They should have a standard list and have them all have the same and adequate supplies.

Infinity Bay Hotel Mixed Experience We recently stayed at Infinity Bay in a three-bedroom suite, and overall our experience was mixed. The location on West Bay Beach is excellent and easily the hotel’s biggest strength. Our suite was extremely spacious (around 2,700 square feet) with 3.5 bathrooms, giving our family of four plenty of room to spread out and relax. That said, for a property costing nearly $1,000 per night, we expected a higher level of quality and maintenance. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, several drains did not work properly, some furniture was broken or uncomfortable, and there were a number of general maintenance issues throughout the suite. Some advertised amenities, including the jacuzzi, were not functional during our stay. The beach and pool areas were nice, but service was average and the on-site restaurant was significantly more expensive than many excellent dining options nearby in West Bay. We also found the constant approach from beach vendors to be somewhat annoying, although that’s not unique to this property. Overall, Infinity Bay offers a fantastic beachfront location and large accommodations, but the maintenance, amenities, food value, and service fell short of what we expected for the price. We enjoyed our stay, but left feeling that the overall experience was somewhat underwhelming given the cost.

Great place to stay and play Nice place. Love the pools. Room is well appointed, cool, and comfortable. The king size bed is very comfortable. The room is serviced daily. The room could really use a small table and chairs, though. Walls are thin, so when your neighbors argue, you'll know. Does the leaf blower guy really have to be at my window at 0600? Robert works the concierge desk, and he's awesome. He set up a couple of trips for us, and we had a wonderful time. Keep up the good work, Bob. :) We took an all day island tour, and Leo was our guide. Very knowledgeable, and fun to be with. We visited with a lot of nice people, and saw a lot of the beauty of this island. Leo was raised here, and he gave us the inside scoop.

Great location, could improve on some things TLDR - Pros: location, food, atmosphere Cons: WiFi, cleanliness, customer service Location: the location of this resort is the entire reason we picked it. It is right on West Bay beach, and you can walk out to beautiful, clear blue waters and clean sandy beaches. The snorkeling just off the resort’s beach is some of the best that I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve been to many other Caribbean islands and Hawaii islands for snorkeling. We saw a sting ray, sea turtle, cuttlefish, and plenty of brightly colored tropical fish. If you’re looking for a place to go snorkeling or diving - this is the place. It is also situated near plentiful other resorts and restaurants. The beachfront is beautiful and well kept - the staff take care of the beach chairs and beachfront here. There are showers right off the beach to get the sand off your toes before you go further in to the resort. Food: the breakfast buffet every morning was great - it offered a different selection each day of hot and cold breakfast foods, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and pastries. The La Palapa restaurant on the beach was also wonderful - my husband and I ate here almost every night for dinner and everything we had was great. The pizza, hamburger, coconut shrimp, seafood boil, and buffalo chicken sandwich were all very tasty. I can’t vouch for the alcoholic drinks, as we were here on our “babymoon” trip and I was pregnant, but they all looked good and seemed to have a good selection of different beers and mixed drinks. The restaurant is right on the beachfront, so you can watch the waves or the sunset as you eat. There are also plenty of other restaurants nearby with great seafood fare. Cleanliness: the cleanliness was okay, but definitely could have been better. The pools had leaves and plants in them a few times, and could stand to be cleaned more often. It wasn’t horrible, the pools were still nice, but the amount of floating debris was noticeable. The grounds are well kept- the landscaping and tropical flowers are beautiful. The public floors and facilities are swept and mopped daily. Our room was only cleaned twice during our 7 night stay. Several times, we hung the card for “please clean my room” on the door, and it never got cleaned. When they did come and clean the room, they did a satisfactory job, but not great. Atmosphere: the atmosphere truly can’t be beat. Being right in the beach, you truly get the paradise feel. You can lay in a beach lounge chair under the palm trees, listen to the waves, and relax. There are countless beach activities to participate in, like: snorkeling, scuba diving, banana boat rides, glass bottom boat rides, party cruises, parasailing, and more. There are multiple pools on property that are placed well, allowing shallow areas for young families with kids and babies to splash around, and deeper areas for adults to visit the swim-up bar for drinks. I saw many young families with kids enjoying their time. The pools have plenty of space so that many people can enjoy them and they don’t feel crowded. There is island-themed music played at the bars, but not too loud. One night, there was a fire dancer show for free at the beachfront area for free - that was fun and enjoyable for kids and adults alike. WiFi/technology: the WiFi in our room did not work for most of our trip. I went up to the office and asked about it several times, and the front desk staff asked my room number and said they would look into it, but it was clear they did nothing. Ironically, the very last day, of our 7 night trip, when we were packing up and leaving, our room wifi worked. That said, the property wifi worked well - so we could use our phones at the pools, restaurants, hotel lobby, and beach. However, that kind of defeats the point of hotel wifi - the places I DONT want to use wifi is at the pool or beach or when I’m trying to share a meal, you know? I wish it would have worked when we had downtime in our room. We really wanted to be able to watch movies after a long day in the sun at the beach. We ended up going out to the pool area, downloading some movies from our Amazon account, and then going back to our room to watch them. This was a pain to say the least. There are TVs in the rooms, but ours was small and only had about 8 or so watchable channels. The others were all just a black screen. It all depends on the type of stay you’re looking for - I was okay with a more “unplugged” vacation, but if you’re relying on the hotel wifi for important calls or emails, beware. Staff / customer service: the staff were cordial and courteous, but not overly so. I have seen other reviews that they felt unwelcome by staff - I did not feel that way. I felt welcome, but not truly cared about. It definitely felt like the staff were doing the bare minimum required by their job - not rude - but not going above and beyond either. I’ve definitely experienced more friendly customer service elsewhere. Overall: 4 out of 5 I would return, and I would recommend this resort to friends and family. But I would warn about wifi and customer service. There are some areas that could be improved upon.

An outstanding resort! We just got back from Infinity Bay. I’ve not one complaint to make! Check in was quick and easy, and we were in our room well before “official” check in time. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Furniture was dated, but functional. There was a large stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery. We only used the fridge and two of the glasses! Breakfast was included and was outstanding. We found drink prices to be reasonable and every day the pool bar and the beach bar would have specials on. The swimming pools were lovely. There were plenty of chairs and loungers available. The beach was the star of the show! It’s so beautiful. I’ve seen several posts about pushy beach vendors and the massage ladies annoying tourists. I found everyone friendly and a polite “no thank you” if you weren’t interested was the end of it. Infinity Bay sell day passes to cruisers, I wouldn’t have even known they were there, it certainly didn’t seem overcrowded on cruise days. A special thanks to the friendly security staff, they certainly work hard and are a reassuring presence, however all the staff were hard working and friendly.

I would return I stayed at Infinity Bay in March of 2026 with a group of friends for a week. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would stay here again. Pros: - Beautiful coral reef in the ocean directly in front of the resort, just follow the ropes so you don't bump into the coral along the way. The hotel does not provide free snorkel stuff but you can rent it from a vendor by the hotel for 15$ for like 3-4 hours. - Nice large rooms with comfortable beds -Extremely friendly staff -Decent gym for being a hotel gym and it has 24/7 access -The international buffet thats included in the all inclusive deal has limited options but all of the options were fresh and delicious. Way different than a typical all inclusive resort where I feel like i'm eating defrosted food at a hometown buffet. This felt like a home cooked meal made fresh by someone who loves you. Cons: -There is zero education about reef conservation. The only thing I saw was a little video playing amongst their slideshow of resort photos at the check in desk that showed coral reef being grown and transplanted. For how bleached and damaged the reef is I really wish they would take the time to have some educational materials or signs or anything. Even the gift shop sold non-reef safe sunscreen :( This really bothered me.... -They rent out beach chairs to cruise ship individuals so unless you find a chair at 9am you will not get a lounger at the pool or the beach for the rest of the day. -The all inclusive alcohol option was not worth it at all. It is not a full bar like most all inclusive resorts. You get a separate "all inclusive" drink menu that you can order from and the alcohol is all rail. At one point the server pulled out Mr Boston vodka which I haven't drank since I was a poor freshman in college! No one in our friend group could catch a buzz either. I'm not sure if the alcohol is watered down or if they just don't pour them as strong as in the states but if I return I will not be doing all inclusive alcohol again. I almost felt like the servers treated you worse when they saw your all inclusive band despite us still tipping very well. -Check in was way later than 3pm. They kept saying "the manager is checking to see if your room is ready" every 30 mins. We finally just went to the bar and came back hours later to our room being ready. I plan on coming back to roatan and I think i'd do infinity bay again. The biggest takeaway was to bring your own reef safe sunscreen, yell at the dummys who stand on the coral reef, and don't do the all inclusive alcohol! :)

Dear Sierra S,Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your recent stay with us at Infinity Bay. We truly appreciate your kind words about our team, our spacious accommodations, and especially the reef—one of Roatán’s most valuable natural treasures. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed your experience overall and are considering returning. We also sincerely appreciate your constructive feedback, as it helps us continue improving.Regarding reef conservation, we fully agree with your concern. Protecting our reef is a responsibility we take seriously, and your comments are very valuable. We are currently working on enhancing our educational efforts across the property, including clearer signage, guest awareness materials, and reviewing the products offered in our gift shop to ensure they align with reef-safe standards. In reference to beach and pool loungers, we understand how important comfort and availability are during your stay. As a beachfront resort located on West Bay Beach, which is a public beach, we do welcome day visitors in designated areas. However, we are actively reviewing our procedures to better manage chair availability and ensure a more balanced experience for our in-house guests.Regarding the all-inclusive beverage experience, we appreciate your candid feedback. We are currently reviewing our beverage offerings, including product selection and presentation, to ensure they meet guest expectations and reflect the quality standards of the resort. Your comments will be part of that evaluation. We also apologize for the delay you experienced at check-in. While we always aim to have rooms ready at our standard check-in time, there are occasions where high occupancy and turnover can cause delays. That said, this is not the experience we want for our guests, and we are reinforcing internal processes to improve efficiency. It means a great deal to us that despite these points, you would consider staying with us again. We look forward to welcoming you back and providing an even better experience on your next visit.Warm regards,Infinity Bay Management Team

Infinity Bay Honest Review Just got back from an incredible stay at Infinity Bay, and while it was the best vacations ever! Here is our honest review. Good and Bad. **Pros:** -Room 1003-We rented a gorgeous beachfront one-bedroom on the second floor that totally exceeded our expectations. The decor was on point, and that huge hammock was much appreciated. The views and sunsets were breathtaking! - Awesome Location- The resort is perfectly situated. You can snorkel right from the beach, no excursions neededz - Timing-We went during Holy Week, which is usually a mad rush, but it wasn't overly crowded at all. - Shrimp Heaven- Don’t skip the shrimp at the palapa bar! The coconut and bang bang shrimp were absolutely delicious. **Cons:** - Check-In Woes-The check-in process was a bit of a hassle. We got there right on time but didn’t get into our room until 7 PM. It felt a little chaotic. - Menu Pricing- We went without the all-inclusive package and paid as we went, but the prices on the menu never matched what we were charged, especially for drinks. We were getting overcharged every time. Also, they include gratuity on the tab as well. It’s writing in Spanish, and we didn’t know, so we basically tipped twice as we also tipped 20% cash. Figured that out at the end of our trip. - Beer Mix-Ups-The beer taps were hit or miss. Four out of five times, we ended up with the wrong beer. - Slow Bar Service-The service at the palapa bar could definitely be faster. It took about 20 minutes on average to get a drink. - **Coffee Struggles**: The coffee pot in our room was a cold press, and let’s just say it didn’t make the best cup of coffee. That’s on us, though! Overall, despite a few hiccups, this trip was amazing, and we are already planning our return! If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway with killer views and tasty food, Infinity Bay is a solid choice!

Dear Always.Smiling2021,Thank you for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review of your recent stay with us at Infinity Bay. We’re truly pleased to hear that your vacation was one of your best and that you are already planning to return—that means a lot to our entire team. We’re especially glad you enjoyed your beachfront unit, the breathtaking views, and the unique experience of snorkeling right off our beach. And we couldn’t agree more—the shrimp at the Palapa is definitely a guest favorite! At the same time, we sincerely appreciate you pointing out areas where we can improve. Please accept our apologies for the delay during your check-in. Arriving on time and receiving your room several hours later is not the experience we aim to provide. We are actively reinforcing our operational processes to ensure better efficiency, particularly during high-demand periods such as Holy Week.Regarding menu pricing and billing, we take this matter seriously. All prices are clearly established, and gratuity is included as part of our service standards; however, we understand how this may not always be clear to all guests. We are currently working on improving communication and transparency on menus and checks to avoid any confusion and ensure a smooth dining experience. We also appreciate your comments on bar service and beer consistency. These are areas we are actively reviewing with our Food & Beverage team to improve both speed and accuracy, especially during peak hours. As for the in-room coffee setup—your feedback is noted, and we will certainly review options to enhance that small but important detail of the guest experience. It’s wonderful to know that despite these points, your overall experience was memorable and enjoyable. We truly look forward to welcoming you back and providing an even more seamless and exceptional stay on your next visit.Warm regards,Infinity Bay Management Team

Chair Hogs ruin the beach experience. You may want to rethink Infinity Bay, especially if you plan to spend any time on the beach there. The chair hogs get up early and block the prime spots. I took this photo at 645am. Three hours later the folks who claimed these chairs still hadn't shown up. The staff will not or cannot do anything about it. This happend each day for the 3 days we were there (March 22-25, 2026). This happens by the pool also. They come down early, claim the best spots and go back to bed. Most show up several hours later. I find this aggravating, very rude and extremely inconsiderate. We paid a premium rate for our unit and was never given the opportunity to have beach front seating all while the chairs sat empty for a large portion of the morning and afternoon. Perhaps you may want to reconsider staying at Infinity Bay. Too bad too, its a beautiful resort with an excellent staff. But to pay for something you can't use doesn't interest me. There are other resorts nearby that may be more attentive to the needs of their guests and do not allow this kind of rude, entitled behavior. It's sad really.
Reply from roatan.travel 2026.03.28
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating this situation can be, and we agree that reserving chairs for extended periods without being present is inconsiderate to other guests. This is not the experience we want anyone to have, especially when enjoying our beach and pool areas. While we do have guidelines in place regarding unattended items, enforcement has not been as consistent as it should be. Based on feedback like yours, we are reinforcing our policies with the team to better manage chair usage and ensure fair access for all guests. We truly appreciate you also recognizing the beauty of the resort and the efforts of our staff. Your comments are valuable and help us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with the full experience you expected.Warm regards,Management TeamInfinity Bay Resort

Perfect first time location for Roatan I stayed at Infinity Bay in March 2026 and it was genuinely one of the best resorts I have experienced; fun, reasonably priced, great service, and outstanding facilities and amenities. We stayed in a Premier Queen Studio, which was perfect for a couple, nicely appointed, with a kitchen, living area, and small balcony. The pools are huge, so even on days with major cruise ships in town, they did not seem crowded at all. Also, there's staff and security on site so we felt completely safe. A major component of the stay was the breakfast, which was fantastic--they had tons of options, fresh fruit, an omelette station, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. Everything was clean, the staff were helpful and professional, and the resort is directly on the ocean with some of the best snorkelling on the island that you can swim directly out to. We ventured off the resort to dive and see other parts of Roatan, but it was nice to come back to the comfort of IB. We had a glitch with our check in b/c we were delayed a day, but Daneri helped us and made sure we were taken care of (and gave us a great restaurant rec to boot), and Tanisha was helpful and patient in breakiing down our bill and getting us transport to the airport. If this is your first time in Roatan (or your second, or third...), I would really recommend IB.

Huge Letdown This is our 4th time at Infinity Bay, the last time was 2020 just before the pandemic. Our experience today has been very disappointing! The service to the table is almost nonexistent. Staff is slow and couldn’t care less. The amount of unruly and unsupervised children screaming in the pool all day and night is unacceptable. The one hot tub is always occupied with children when it clearly states adults only. No one comes around to in force the rule. We choose this place as it has been an adults only property. My invoice also states this. See attached photo. The beach strip is terrible during the day. Overrun with vendors nonstop harassing to sell shirts, excursions, braiding and massages. No where to hide from the constant annoyance unless you get up at 5 am. Too many daily cruise ships dropping people and ruining the reef. Sad to see a beautiful go downhill.

Thank you for returning to Infinity Bay and for sharing your feedback. We truly value your loyalty over the years, and we’re very sorry to hear that this visit did not meet your expectations. We acknowledge the concerns you raised regarding service levels, pool environment, and rule enforcement. This is not the standard we aim to deliver, and we are reinforcing supervision in the pool and hot tub areas, as well as improving service attentiveness with our team.We would also like to clarify that Infinity Bay is not an adults-only property. We are a family-friendly resort, and we regret any confusion that may have been created in your documentation. That said, maintaining a respectful and enjoyable environment for all guests is a priority, and we will continue to improve enforcement of designated areas such as the hot tub.Regarding beach vendors and cruise visitors, these are factors that affect the entire West Bay Beach area. However, we continue working with local authorities and partners to help manage these interactions and preserve the guest experience as much as possible. We truly appreciate your candid feedback, as it helps us identify where we need to improve. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the experience you have enjoyed in the past.Warm regards,Management TeamInfinity Bay Resort

Horrible Customer Service and Poor Value We had booked this resort in 2025 with the silver package. The resort stated they included WiFI, towels, and use of the beach. When we arrived, we were advised towels were not included. After showing proof of what was promised and discussion they finally gave us towels. The customer service at this hotel is probably about the worst I have seen in my extensive travel over the past 5 years. The area that they place people in is the worst spot of the resort. We were not allowed to sit on the outside beach chairs. The WiFi was was allegedly down the entire 6 hours while at the resort so they only took cash for everything. I would not come back to this resort even if they offered it for free. Try the other local spots on West Beach instead.
