Absolutely unbelievable experience with Roadway Towing & Recovery. I was left stranded for nearly TWO HOURS through my roadside assistance program waiting for a tow truck that never came. After being repeatedly told help was on the way and that arrival would only be a few more minutes, they suddenly canceled the job after I had already waited 1 hour and 45 minutes.
When I called, the first employee admitted they were “backed up.” I asked the obvious question — why wasn’t I notified an hour earlier instead of being left sitting there wasting my entire afternoon? He said “the manager decided to cancel the tow. Would you like to speak to them?” and transferred me to a manager. She kept me waiting for a very long time. I’m assuming in hopes I would hang up.
That conversation was even worse.
She casually told me they “never took the job” because they were too busy and it would actually be another 2–3 hours. So instead of declining the call honestly from the beginning, they left a stranded customer sitting and waiting with no communication whatsoever. When I tried explaining how unacceptable and irresponsible that was, she spoke over me, refused to listen, she actually LAUGHED, sarcastically told me to “have a nice day,” and HUNG UP on me.
She is a MANAGER! Seriously! She lacked all professionalism Customer Service skills, or class!
If your company is too overwhelmed to handle roadside calls, then DON’T ACCEPT THEM. Leaving people stranded for hours and then laughing at them on the phone is beyond unprofessional. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

My car was recently towed from the street where I live now I'm not bothered that it was towed I understand my car didn't have registration what I do mind is that I got my car back completely in a different condition than I had it when I had it parked I just got my car out from the impound lot over in Escondido and I took it to the tire shop and alignment shop and they told me that whoever hooked up the car bent and damaged my tie rod for my axle I had called them before to let them know and they said that I would have to call the sherrifs but now the sherrifs are telling me that the responsibility comes from whoever towed the car so now I'm going to have to file a claim to see how we go from there cuz this is completely unacceptable I just had to pay a couple extra hundred dollars just to get that fixed aside from the money already just paid all because someone couldn't do their job right and hooked up my car wrong and completely messed up my steering had to drive it all the way from Escondido to my local shop in Vista going about 5 mph all the way from esco ,that's a side comparison of the brand new one I had to just buy and the one that they had bent when they tied up my car the last picture shows how it's supposed to be nice and straight the middle picture is the one that's bent the one that they broke.
1st pic shows how the tie rod end thread suppose to be straight for my driver side tire. No issues there
2nd picture shows how it's bent upwards on the other tire where they messed up the tie rod causing my steering to go in one direction and my steering wheel completly unaligned
3rd picture from when I drove it directly from their yard to the shop in Vista about 35mins later after they took it off and I had to buy the new one the dark one is the new one and the bottom one on the picture is the one they bent.
Not only that I couldn't even drive it 50 ft before it started messing up and I should have gone back inside but I was in a hurry to do other things but when the girl brought my car out to me when she released it to me I was simply handing the keys and wasn't given any prior warning that it was undrivable as my car didn't have that issue when I had it parked on my street.
Highly dependable and very friendly. They got my car safely where it needed to go without any issues.

Worst tow company!!! I went to pick up my truck and they wanted to overcharge me even the people on the phone they are rude and helpless. They wanted to charge me for 2 days when my truck wasn't even there for 24 hours.
They hang up on me like 4 times plus they take so long to bring my truck out. When I told the man who was helping me he got so mad and was super rude I find out they put wrong time and wrong information so they can overcharge you! I don't know how this company is still on business they are not honest!! I wish I could give 0 stars!!

I had a bit of a car trouble today and ended up needing a tow. I called Roadway Towing, and I was so impressed with how quickly they got to me! The driver was super friendly, professional, and really knew what he was doing. He made sure I was taken care of and my car was safely towed to the shop without any hassle.
What really stood out was how calm and reassuring they were during the whole thing – it made a stressful situation a lot less stressful! Definitely keeping their number saved for next time. If you're ever in a jam, I highly recommend giving them a call. Great service, all around!

I had a great experience with Frank and Jerrel. They picked up 2 heavy pipes (4000 lbs and 6000lbs) with Big Bertha (huge semi tow rig with a swing arm). They also had a 40' trailer to haul these pipes. They delivered the pipes 22 miles away in the rain and in the dark. They were professional and did the job with care. Thank you for a great experience.

The woman that works dispatch was a totally rude and unprofessional. They denied me access to my personal belongings. Horrible company and even worse service. Wouldn't even let me talk or get a price to get my car out. Not sure how a company like this stays in business.

Haha expect anything from this business to be over priced. My husband had a motorcycle accident on the i-15sb (SR-78) near the mission exit. We got charged for 2 hours light duty tow at CHP rate even tho it doesn't take 2 hours to load and tow a wrecked bike, so in essence you can guess they towed the other guys car as well. We got charged 3 days at 100 bucks even tho it was 2 days and not a full 3 day, I might have well waited to pick it up at closing since they do that. For everything in total we paid 990. You're gonna need a license and registration even if it's stuck in your wrecked vehicle. The black man upfront was super helpful and he was the only person to use the forklift and put the bike up on the trailer we had. We didn't get charged for the forklift. We had called the night before and the man said they weren't gonna help us, but they did.

Our towing rates follow CHP’s port-to-port billing, meaning time is calculated from dispatch to returning to the yard. Storage fees are also charged per calendar day, not by the hour, which is standard practice.
Regarding your motorcycle, the front wheel was missing, requiring extra effort to safely transport it. As seen in your own video, a forklift was necessary to load the bike, and it took two people to safely remove it from the lift and secure it onto your trailer. Additionally, our team had to clean up leaked fluids at both the accident scene and in the storage yard.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I was trying to get questions answered so I can pay my bill and another rep got on the phone and started cussing me out and yelling at me for no reason! I was in shock that a company could allow someone like him to work for them and be the face and voice of their company. Now I can see why the reviews are low. I would give negative reviews if I could!

This company is awful. The employees are rude and lack actual knowledge of law, and in order to feel better about themselves they get defensive and start in with what can only be seen as, as slander. Do not expect to gain access to your vehicle to take pictures either. DO NOT have your vehicle towed here if you need any access to it. DONT DO IT!! I have also filed a complaint with the BBB, so others should follow so we can get this company to act with respect towards their customers.

Two stars because they did eventually show up. But only after three hours of waiting. I can tolerate a lot, but they had zero communication. Do not recommend.
