I ordered Express Dish (beef steak) and the menu said 100g for 8 euros. When I placed the order, I explicitly stated this. Unfortunately, I got 400g for 32 euros. When I complained, they said sorry, we only have 400g. The bill was not adjusted and they were very rude afterwards. Also, we ordered zucchini blossoms filled with fish, even though it wasn't mentioned on the menu... Very disappointing!
I want to start out by saying i had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while, so i was super excited to go. We came without a reservation, asked if there was a table and they said yes. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. After we were seated we started looking at the menu and decided we were ready to order. The waiter had started to take our order and after i to ordered my pasta, he simply started talking with another waiter and walked away. My boyfriend didn't even get the chance to order yet. We thought maybe he assumed the pasta and artichoke dish we ordered was our appetizer and would come later for the main dish. 10 minutes pass and i decided to use the restroom. A customer was blocking the way and i asked in italian scuzi. Multiple times i asked and then he started yelling at me and the waitress simply told me to wait patiently. It was really uncomfortable. I was extremely embarrassed by the whole situation. The customer was blocking multiple people from entering the restroom and only when he was blocking an Italian man did the waitress tell the customer to move. Afterwards 20 minutes had passed and my boyfriend was still trying to get the waiter’s attention. He was moving from table to table and still hadnt taken his order. Once he finally arrived he took my boyfriend’s order quickly and hadnt really seemed to care. It seemed that other tables were getting more attention. Once my boyfriends steak arrived and our appetizer arrived my pasta still hadn't arrived. We waited another 15 minutes. We called a waiter over and asked if the pasta takes longer to cook and he simply told us what pasta do you want. We couldn't really understand him and he brought our waiter over who said we never asked for pasta. I literally read the pasta name out for him and he immediately ran away, it seemed like he took my order without a care in the world. Once we ordered again they apologized and brought our pasta out almost like they threw it on to the table. There was a lot of disrespect. It seemed we were being judged for not speaking Italian, being young, and even looking “poor.” We didn’t come in the fanciest looking clothes, we came in jeans and sweaters, but why should we be judged if we are paying customers? We came with money, just because we are a young couple doesnt mean we should be treated differently. Mind you we are both 23 year olds who have served in the army and are in college. Anyways the steak was mediocre at best, ive had other steaks for cheaper that were much better. The pasta was simple, nothing crazy. I felt sick afterwards. We both did. We quickly asked for the check which arrived after 15 minutes of waiting. Staff was unapproachable. The price is not worth it. Save your money.
