In late winter 2024, I asked Rio Grande for an estimate. We walked the ground and sorted out the issues, but I ran out of time in terms of getting it done that year. So, I circled back around in mid-winter 2025. My estimate was still valid and the fence was put in according to plan. It's now been in place for a few months, and I'm thoroughly satisfied. There are MANY fly by night fencing contractors in the area. They won't call 811 like they're supposed to, get their permits or permissions from the HOA, will get violent with clients if challenged, etc. They stay in business because they charge less, and you really do get what you pay for. From start to finish, Rio Grande was professional and organized. They did exactly what was proposed and described, the price was reasonable, and I'm thoroughly satisfied.

Never showed up for the estimate after calling to say they were running late. My only option was to reschedule with this same person who has no respect for others time. No thank you, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

We called to inform you we would be late and asked when you could meet either 30 minutes after scheduled time or this morning at 8 am. No calls were received from you. We are willing to work with your schedule and get you a quote however your availability times and location is best suited to that sales representative. We do not just not show up or disrespect anyone's time. We make it a point to be flexible enough to accommodate the customer. That sales rep also runs our office in Lexington and is only available once office is closed. Please call the office to discuss this matter again.

We contacted several fence companies and never even got responses. Therefore, I was concerned that Rio Grande might not be the best option but might be our only option. However, when we met with Medina she seemed very competent and understood our needs. Her site plan zipped through our HOA approval. We had a short delay with the city permit office getting backed up, but Rio Grande handled that process for us. The fence looks great.

Rio Grande did our neighbors fence in Lexington and destroyed our fence in the process. They didn’t bother to let us know. Our neighbor followed up with them and they said they would fix it but have never showed up or followed up; it’s been two weeks. We no longer have a safely fenced yard for our dogs. Very disappointed in the poor integrity of this company.

So, we didn't personally use Rio grande fencing, but our neighbor did and wish they hadn't... They removed a section of our fence that was butted up with our neighbors fence and never told us about it. They also moved a section of chain link fencing (again didn't tell us) that was separating our yards. We let our dogs out in back yard, and both dogs got out and roamed the neighborhood (at night) before we were able to find and wrangle them. Ridiculous they did this, didn't let us know, and didn't fix it. Or offer to fix. We would've paid to have them fix it while they were here, but no, they tore up our fence, then left without saying anything. Also, about a year ago, we set up a time for them to come out and do an estimate on a fence we were wanting built, and they were a No-show. We used TIGER fencing and were very impressed. Use them, not Rio grande. On Pepper drive, in Meadowthorpe. You all were out here Tue - Thurs
