BE CAUTIOUS!!!
One year ago we contracted with this company, it all seemed fine the first 2-3 weeks. After that we had several issues:
1 supplies sat on our drive way for approximately 1 1/2 months until we called the office, salesman would not answer calls
2 signed contract (that are really recommendations for the company) was not fulfilled
3 they took my initial payment (over $12,000) and charged for all money the insurance approved even when the work was not done creating false charges
4 I had to fight all costs (fees and upgrades, that i never approved) which dropped my final bill from over $10,000 to close to $3,000.
5 lack of customer service and respect (I spoke to Brian, manager or owner, his title changed depending who I spoke to) i was threatened to be taken to court because he assumed I did not want to pay (maybe for being Hispanic)
* If you decide to contract them, BE CAUTIOUS, keep all paperwork and read it carefully, do not give them permission to talk to your insurance, and keep records of all communication. Sounds like a lot, but will save you head aches and stress.
***I had to post this since not doing it could cause someone else the same situation we experienced, specially since they will be out looking for business after these horrible storms; prayers for all those affected đ

Restor Group did a fabulous job on my roof replacement.  Chase was excellent to work with on this project! He was prompt to respond, and answered all of my questions.  Most importantly Restorâs  work is clean and Chase was skilled and professional. It is refreshing to have an honest, local service to walk you thru the experience from start to finish.  Especially when you are not an expert in the field. I am also particular and they dealt with that well.đ I have referred them to others and will continue to do so.  Thanks again!

I had shingles missing from my roof which I believe was from the hail storm. I called a couple of roofers looking for an inspection and recommendation. Â Hugh from Restor came out. He was both very friendly and professional.
Hughâs  extremely thorough inspection revealed significant hail damage to my home and garage roofs.
There was one spot where the shingles and underlying roofing felt were torn away exposing the plywood. Hugh said he would send someone out immediately to put a temporary patch on that location before I suffered water infiltration.
In the end Restor did the work. The crew that came out worked incredibly hard, stripping and replacing both roofs in LESS THAN TWO DAYS! The clean up was exemplary as well.
I would highly recommend Restor Group Outstanding service and attention to detail.

After a significant storm in our area, we had Restor Group come out relative to hail damage. James, one of the project supervisors, came out to inspect the roof and concluded it sustained enough damage for a claim. He worked diligently and expediently with our insurance company and answered any/all questions we had along the way. He provided us with shingle color options as well as any other items that would be replaced. I highly recommend Restor Group for roof replacement/repair and ask for James specifically for his excellent customer service and reliability.

The high pressure and over the top sales job from the owner and their salesperson on what should have been a simple insurance claim should have been a red flagâŠ
Assured we would spend $0 out of pocket I am now writing a check for almost $5k. I have been to the tire store twice to have tires patched from finding roofing nails, and daily I do laps around my house still finding shingles, metal shards from gutter trimming, nails, underlayment, more nails, and more nails.
Communication throughout the process has been bad, at best, and the process has been nothing as promised.
Two stars instead of one because the roof and gutters look tight af.

Andy Im sorry you feel your experience was high pressure. As the owner of the company I was at your home and was the reason your insurance paid for your roof in the first place. Glad we could help. I do not recall any high pressure sales tactics whatsoever considering all the work we did to get your approved was completely free of charge and I spent quite a long time in your home discussing your amazing record store. It was a very delightful conversation. As for your out of pocket expense....you need to take that up with your insurance company because you elected to have an ACV policy with only pays up to a limit out on your job.....leaving you to pay the balance. Restor didn't make your pay any extra money...your insurance company did.
This is the WORST Company I have ever entrusted with my choice for a roofing repair. They continuously contacted me to repair my roof, damages caused by the hail storm. Once we signed their contract to complete the repairs, we never heard from them, unless we contacted them. RESTOR took 1 year from the initial down payment to complete a simple roof repair. They destroyed a 20 foot blue spruce by tearing off the branches. They destroyed my beautiful hydrangeas, and the employees drove their hummers on my lawn with their radios blasting. Lastly, they utilized my outdoor outlets to run their equipment, and left their compressors running all night using my electricity. All of this without asking us. RESTOR is absolutely the WORST company I have ever worked with!

Thank you for your review. To be crystal clear, the shingle you wanted had to be special orderedâŠand produced as it was discontinued. Meaning, that during the pandemic when the GAF factories were shut down Restor searched the entire country for the discontinued shingle thst you wanted, found it and had it made.l specifically for you. That took time. Especially during pandemic.

BUYER BEWARE - My 90 year old Aunt contracted with RESTOR to replace her roof and was rewarded with a roof that leaked in over 6 places around her house. Tried to get them to come back and repair, back and forth for months, and their remedy was to apply a black membrane over leak spots. We had a roofing engineer analyze the causes, and his report clearly stated that the roofing was not installed correctly by RESTOR. Litigation costs would have equaled replacement, so we hired a more reputable roofing company and they had to replace the entire roof, along with repair structural/decking damage caused by RESTOR's installation. Now we get to repair the damage inside caused by the many leaks. RESTOR claims that all damage was caused before their project, but we know and have evidence that was incorrect.

We visited your home on multiple occasions to address your concerns. Multiple folks from our company came out and explained the issues regarding this very old home. None of her leaks were caused by Restor and were apparent long before we were brought in to address the issue.
Had my whole house restoration done with these guys and jacob was really good at taking getting everything damaged covered by insurance. This company did great job on my roof, its been 3 months later and ive had no further issues. Wasnt too sure if i should go with another company or not since my roof was an 18 pitch and 3 stories, i trusted their experience and process and everything went very smoothly. Thank you guys always a good time when u do business with polite professionals that arent just trying to sell you on something.

This was our second time working with RESTOR. We had a great experience a few years ago. Unfortunately, this time the communication was terrible from start to finish among all aspects. I felt like a nuisance every time I had to reach out to ask a question or follow up for the timeline and invoice corrections. Our roof is fine, but if you want to know whatâs going on with your project and feel like a valued customer, I wouldnât recommend.

I loved the personal service I received with Restor Group. Hugh was my sales rep and working with him made my experience with a roof replacement smooth and stress free. Can I give 0 stars?
Maybe others have had better interactions, but Iâve never had a worse interaction with any vendor than I just had with Restor who was scheduled to make roof repairs as part of closing on my home. The sellers already paid Restor for the work, yet it took 4+ weeks for Restor to actually complete the work.
After waiting a week after closing and expecting Restor to reach out to schedule the work, but hearing nothing, I called Restor and was told Iâd get a call back to schedule. Great! People are busy and Iâll get a follow up. Nope. Three (3) weeks passed with nothing still until last night at 7:00p a crew in an unmarked van pulled up stating they were here to complete the work - no scheduling by Restor, no calling ahead, guy didnât remember who he was performing the work for since Restor subcontracted the work, the van had no logo or anything for any company. Timing and everything else surrounding the situation was absolutely bizarre.
Fast forward to today when I received an angry call from a completely unprofessional Restor rep asking why I turned the crew down yesterday. Five (5) words into giving my explanation of the situation I was cut off and asked if I wanted the work complete or not. Several more attempts at explaining the situation and being cut off later I asked to speak with the personâs manager. I was told that they were the manager and the only person higher is the owner. I was then denied speaking to the owner regarding the situation and the employeeâs way of handling the situation. Instead the owner yelled across whatever room they were in that I â...can find someone else for the workâ - super professional again.
The same subcontractor shows up today earlier than their window without a warning again. This time they do not knock on my door to inform me they're here to complete the work - they simply set up their ladders and begin working on my house. Not once during the work did they interact with me, even after finishing. I just saw their van pull away down the street and out of the neighborhood.
Iâve been in the construction industry for years and have not once had to deal with another company acting this way.
I really hope this acts as a warning for anyone considering using Restor or having to deal with them, and that you do not have the same experience I did.

RESTOR called me before I fully realized the extensive damage I had from back-to-back hail storms. They professionally walked me through the estimation process, kept me informed of all options and schedules, and gave me a quality end result. Very pleased with everything they did.

No help, no suggestions, no follow up. âHere is a form. Fill it out and send it to your insurance companyâ They did not replace my roof or anything else. They did put 2 very small tarps on it and charged me $350. I ended up paying $250 after calling and complaining. I hired Another company who went above and beyond to get this project done. Not just the roof, but the siding and gutters also.
