I have been ordering quite a bit of stuff from you lately. I am going to be blunt. Your samples absolutely suck. I buy Valmont. I want Valmont samples. I hate most Biologique Recherche products because they do not work for me. Stop sending the horrible Danucera Cerabalm. That seems to be the only sample you have besides BR crap. Toska Spa and the actual Valmont website treat you way better. Rethink your sampling. I have been in the business for 24 years. I used to use La Prairie and transitioned to this. I would probably buy a bunch of stuff if I was able to try the line I am purchasing. You are out of NYC. You have stuff.
Rescue Spa is absolutely incredible. From the moment you walk in, the space is beautiful, calming, and spotless. The staff is beyond welcoming and truly takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. The service is top tier and you can tell everyone here really knows what they’re doing.
Special shoutout to Annalisa who is an absolute gem. She is so kind, patient, and genuinely helpful, and she makes the best recommendations without ever making you feel pressured. She really listens and tailors everything to what you actually need.
Overall, amazing service, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and a stunning space. Can’t recommend Rescue Spa enough and I’ll definitely be back.

I had a pretty traumatic haircut experience here. The stylist was very sweet, but she clearly didn’t have the skill level to execute a simple request. I asked for a trim with soft layers and light face-framing; instead, I left with choppy, uneven pieces throughout my hair and an obvious, uneven shelf cut into the middle, leaving my hair in two completely different lengths. This haircut was $250….
The salon did refund me immediately, which I appreciate, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’ll now have to grow these short pieces out for months. I just want to warn others: please make sure you know exactly who is cutting your hair before booking…
Love this place - amazing service and amazing gifts and samples thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️ also I always get facials here when in nyc - and have even thought about flying from Miami to nyc monthly for facials here - I think the bad reviews on here are definitely fake - I've had facials all over the world and rescue spa has been superb- and always consistent regardless of aesthetician- bc each and every one is very experienced - I have also gifted facials from here and my friends always have a positive experience - Their extraction technique is gentle and effective.
The facial itself was mostly alright, but one part of the extraction was genuinely the roughest I’ve ever had. I know exactly what proper extraction pressure feels like, and the way my nose was pressed was completely unnecessary — it was way beyond anything that needed to happen. The rest of the extraction was okay, but that specific technique made the whole experience uncomfortable.
The front desk was great, however the checkout interaction was not. When I said I wasn’t adding on any products, the staff member’s attitude shifted immediately — dismissive and borderline rude. It really left a bad taste at the end of the visit.
For the price, I expected care and professionalism from start to finish. I won’t be returning.

I had the most amazing experience with Alma at Rescue Spa! She gave me an incredible facial with deep yet gentle extractions, a soothing face mask, and an unforgettable massage that left my skin glowing and my mind relaxed. Alma is truly gifted; every step felt customized and luxurious.
The spa itself is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located in one of the best areas of NYC; super convenient and elegant. I’ve already booked my next appointment in five weeks (mandatory for my skin now!), and I’m also booking one for my spouse because he deserves to experience how wonderful this place is too.
If you’re looking for a high-end facial and total relaxation, Rescue Spa and Alma are perfection.
