Car rental Good luck to those renting with Kauai Island Car Rental! Wish you the best to those putting their trust on them. I’m the one no luck because of their unresponsive rental. I gave them all my information and sign the rental agreement. At the last day before the rental they sent me a email to cancel my booking. They know that I’m arriving by cruise ship and certainly they didn’t aware or care that you might not have internet access. They don’t care! Without awareness of the cancellation I went to the pickup location and there is no way to find their location. With the help of local, still can’t find them. Call them and they told me my booking was cancelled because of maintenance issues and go to find another booking. My vacation is ruined and they don’t care. Be alert, diligence to rent anything with this rental. Find something is more trustworthy rather to put your trust to them!

So easy and no waiting in lines! Loved this experience with Rent A Car Kauai. No waiting in lines and the car was exactly where they said it would be. The car was clean and when I wanted to extend my trip they made it so easy to keep the car we had. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely use this rental company again.

We had a great experience renting a car from Rental Cars Kauai last week. The late model Toyota Corolla took us all over the island and had cold A/C. Their prices are so much lower than the big name car rental agencies. They now deliver your rental car to your hotel/ condo etc.so we just took an Uber from the airport and when we arrived at our condo, it was waiting for us. At the end of our trip, we left the car in the condo parking lot and sent them a text with a couple pictures showing where the car was parked. Couldn't have been a better experience. We will rent again from Rental Cars Kauai on our next trip to this beautiful island.

Kauai Rental Cars is by far the best rental car agency I’ve ever used The best part for me is that I help support local business, but they are very accommodating and helpful when coming to Kauai. We have used them two years in a row now! And you can be sure I will use them again! Their service is an “11 Out of 10!”

This was the best car rental we have used. Dropped at the hotel, very clear video instructions as to where car was located and where to find key. Return was just a reverse of pick up and very easy. Car was clean and in excellent condition.

We have been renting cars from a similar company in Maui, Kihei rent a car for ten years. We make a reservation then show up and pay at the time we arrive. Rent a Car Kauai requires 100% payment up front even six months in advance. Having never dealt with this company I find that out of the ordinary and a deal breaker. The person who called me didn't even take the time to explain why they require this. Just hung up when I said I would not be willing to pay 100% of the rental fee six months in advance. Lots of other options.

We had a great experience with Rent A Car Kauai! They were very easy to communicate with and pick-up/drop-off was a breeze. No waiting at rental car counters with a hundred other people is a HUGE incentive. The corolla was in great shape, and we had no car troubles. We would definitely rent a car from them again!

Rent A Car KauaI is the way to go!! Best bargain on the Island! Great car for a great price! We loved the ease of picking up and dropping car off at airport. No lines, no shuttles, no hassles! The Red Camry was perfect. the car was easy to drive, clean & very comfy inside. The large trunk easily accommodated our BIG suitcase and 3 carry-ons. Not to mention the day to day full set of golf clubs, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella and big cooler. The added bonus was the Red color made it very easy to spot in parking lots. We will definely be using them again. And we highly recommend them. We highly recommend

Great experience with Rent-a-car Kauai. Our Corolla worked well and had good AC. Everything was so smooth. One thing that wasn’t mentioned to us until we booked, is that we had to pay $20-$25 to get the car off the lot across from the airport.

This was our 3rd time using Rent A Car Kauai - and we will use them again on future trips to Kauai. This is how it should be for all rental cars. They make it very easy. An added benefit to the ease of pick up and drop off (right outside baggage claim so ready as soon as you come off the flight) is that you can have additional drivers-as long as they get registered with licence/insurance info - for no additional cost. We had 4 people with luggage in a Toyota Corolla and plenty of room in trunk for transport to and from airport!

This was the best and easiest rental car experience I've ever had. Full stop. The car was clean and drove great, the pickup and drop off was seamless. It was also great to have a car that blends in with the locals so you don't stand out as a tourist. Would highly recommend to anyone who just needs a reliable set of wheels for their island vacation.

I can’t post more than 5 stars otherwise I would. They did as they stated. Car was there ready at airport! No lines and at that airport there are long rental lines. Good quality car, clean, fueled up and ready to go! Drop off was a breeze. Great value will use there service next time back to Kauai!
