This probably is your fist experience of data lost, but we deal with a wide range of recovery cases everyday all day and we have many years of experience with even challenging and unrecoverable jobs only if we believe there is a slim chance of recovery, but for example if we get a Micro SD Card broken in half we know there is no chance of recovery and we state it very honestly and clearly to clients and they understand and appreciate it, although this is not the answer they want to hear.
