I had a very disappointing experience with Real Estate Recovery Group. I came to them during a stressful and vulnerable time, fearing the loss of my condo due to falling behind on my mortgage. I was hopeful that working with them would provide guidance and support. Unfortunately, that was not the case—especially when dealing with Matt. Matt was extremely abrasive and consistently spoke down to me in our conversations. Rather than feeling helped or supported, I often felt belittled and disrespected. His tone and attitude made an already difficult situation feel even worse. It’s disheartening to turn to a professional for help and walk away feeling worse than before. To be fair, the only saving grace of the experience was the staff. They were courteous, helpful, and much more professional than Matt himself. Honestly, they are the real heroes at that office, and they deserve the recognition—not him. I would seriously think twice before working with Matt or Real Estate Recovery Group. There are other options out there where you’ll be treated with the empathy and respect you deserve.

The realtor and probate attorney that they worked with able to get the house sold. In the end I was able to save my mother’s name and gain some proceeds from the sale of the house. Regarding selling my parents home- I was introduced to Realestate Recovery Group a few months ago. We tried to do a short sale on the property. The home was sold in a pool to a hedge fund. They overpaid for it and in the end they ended up wanting to do a deed in lieu of foreclosure. Matt and his team was amazing guiding me through this. RRG is invaluable when it comes to negotiating short sales - no two files are the same, and there seems to be no hurdle this team can't climb. We've just closed on a moderately complicated short sale, and were all surprised when a post-closing water bill popped up. Although their job was completed, the RRG team went above and beyond to rectify this issue for our client and brought this to resolution. Highly recommend
