My daughter Katelin has recently gotten into baseball at school and I was thinking of getting her some gear and signing her up for club competitions. I went into the store and everything was completely new to me, but some friendly faces really helped out. I'm pretty sure their names were Lincoln and Tim and really got the ball rolling. I was feeling incredibly lost. Physically, emotionally, spiritually... the lot. Then I saw RBI Australia!!!
I walked in the store, immediately amazed by the range and quality of baseball, softball and tee ball equipment on offer (however I was slightly underwhelmed at the quantity of water polo equipment available). That was until... I was greeted by a shining, handsome and scruffy young man that apparently goes by the name of Lincoln. He was absolutely amazing. He sold me all I would ever need again - a bat, glove, helmet, batting gloves, box, cleats, arm guard, another box (no such thing as too safe), and a seemingly infinite amount of completely necessary baseball accessories.
I was absolutely blown away at how cheap this all was, bringing the cost to just under 4 grand. I would like to send my overflowing gratitude and thanks to the young 14 year old boy, Lincoln, who not only set my up perfectly for the baseball season, but has solved every single life problem I have ever encountered - even the ones I didn't know I had and those I haven't even had yet. Put this man on every single shift as he is genuinely making the suburb of Smeaton Grange a better place with his impeccable customer service skills and abilities.

I woke up next to wife last week, and I knew she wasn't satisfied with me, I knew what to do to make her happy. I went to RBI and this young handsome man named Lincoln treated me like a queen, in other words, a short King helping a queen. He helped me pick the perfect bat for my wife. Now she loves. I went shopping for a Baseball bat for my 7 year old grandson, who is currently suffering for leukemia as well as type 1 diabetes. I played a little bit back in the day but I havenât played in a very long time and I really donât know anything about the sport. When I walked in, this handsome young man named lincoln, was very quick and eager to satisfy my needs as i searched for a baseball bat, however he did struggle to get the one i wanted from the top shelf due to his short stature. Otherwise, his service was impeccable, and my grandson was so incredibly happy with his gift that he was healed from leukemia. Many thanks to Lincoln, and RBI for your kind service.

I'm quite a rookie at sport so when my son told me to get need this and that I really had no idea. This young handsome man, Lincoln I believe his name was, was very kind and patient in helping my old legs around the store to get whatever my son asked. I dont see my son Michael much so it was really special when he loved the bat and glove. Thanks Lincoln for your choice and thanks RBI for your service.

Where do I begin. The staff here at RBI Smeaton Grange are just next level quality. Wanted a bat, helmet which they obviously had with the best quality, but then I wanted the sunflower seeds thinking no baseball shop could have. However staff member Lincoln Case said he got me and provided those seeds. Along with a free red cup to spit them in!!!!! Whenever Iâm feeling down, sad or any emotion like that, I donât turn to friends or family, I turn to RBI Smeaton Grange because it feels like a family. By far the greatest shop in the Milky Way Galaxy.

12 days after ordering a simple bat grip, and paying a flat fee of $15 for it to ship, it will finally arrive.
Yes, the item was more expensive than any of their competitors, but without stock elsewhere I didn't have much choice.
What absolutely sucks, is having to pay a flat fee that is 50% of the item value, only for it to take nearly a fortnight to reach me.
For the record, express shipping would've come in just under $15 and would've been with me in a day.
Flat fee shipping is fine for multiple, or larger items, but a lack of flexibility in shipping for small items is why I won't be back.
I'll continue to support the businesses who go to the effort to make their online experiences competitive, and if what I what isn't available anywhere but RBI - I'll wait next time.

Hi Ash, I'm so sorry to hear of your poor experience with us. We continually look for ways to improve our service so we will take your notes on board. I will pass your concerns onto Auspost as we dropped your parcel off to them on the 19th after you ordered it on the 18th, but the 12 days it took to get to you is still much longer than we expect from them.
As for our flat rate shipping fee, we have tried to use the Auspost calculator plugins for shipping rates but have found some customers being charged absurd rates to ship small items to the far reaches of the country so we have settled on a flat fee to keep the costs down for all of our customers. Sometimes shipping costs more than $15 and sometimes it costs less, we lose more than we gain on shipping across a 12 month period and that is just looking at what the freight company charges and not the added expenses of the wages, time, fuel etc it takes to stock, prepare and lodge your order.
Thank you for taking the time to write us this and alert us to your concerns, bad reviews really hurt small businesses like ours so we will do everything we can to improve our process and avoid any further poor reviews in the future.
