Clearly insightful
I was pleased to be able to understand the writing quite easily. Financial wording can tend to be overwhelming, but this book took a simplistic and reassuring approach. It gives a little more information on the terms I’ve heard now and again within conversations. I find it also pushes the reader to dive into thorough thinking. Am starting from the bottom. No where else to go but up. At least I got a few more tools in my pocket reading this book. I now have a few strategies to think about.
Must read!
At the age of 18, I started my own financial literacy journey with a book that left a lasting impact on my life. However, looking back, I wish "7 Secrets to Saving and Investing for Young Canadians" would've been added to my early financial education. This book, comprehensive in its approach, covers a spectrum of vital topics from negotiating a raise to providing key insights on stock investing. The author excels in breaking down complex financial concepts into great, easy-to-understand examples, all firmly rooted in solid financial principles. What sets this book apart is its practicality for young readers. It's not just a guide; it's a roadmap for anyone under 45 looking to establish sound financial habits. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your financial strategies, this book is a must-buy. It's the book I wish I had at 18, and it's certainly the book I'm glad to have now.

Great information we should all have
I wish I had read this book in my early 20s instead of my mid 30s. The author manages to clearly verbalize all the vague and unclear advice we've all received about money when growing up into something tangible and that makes sense. Looking critically at how we view money, our own misconceptions about it and how to properly use it as a tool are in the book.I recommend this book to anyone who wished they knew more about how to invest, save, see money as more than just a bill-paying mechanism, but is otherwise intimidated by the idea of it all.
