I would give 10 stars for service if available. Our server Valentina and Jose were very attentive. Approached us with smiles on their faces. Food was great as well. Will definitely be back!

Food was good, staff were really nice, a little on the pricey side for Mexican food. However, with the food and the service I would say it’s worth it, at least once in a while. The atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed the music the lighting. It’s always nice when you have a good employees providing good service. I would go back.

This was my first time at this restaurant, and my experience could not have been any better due in large part to a fabulous waitress/bartender/hostess named Valentina. The moment I entered the restaurant, Valentina greeted me with a huge smile and a generous welcome. I was alone so I sat at the bar, and to my surprise it was Valentia who took both my drink and food orders. She made me a perfect and VERY large margarita (on the rocks of course) that was perfect, and she took my food order. The Enchiladas Suizas I ordered was the best I have ever tasted. I am not sure why the green sauce was so tasty because I could not identify any specific ingredient, but I found myself having to resist the urge to lick my plate when I was done eating. Thus from start to finish, my dining experience was excellent, and the fact that it was moderately priced just confirmed for me that this is a very special place. Thank you to Valentina! Do yourself a favor and try this wonderful restaurant.

It’s my favorite Mexican restaurant in manhattan! The food is exceptional but what stands out the most about this place is the service! Brenda, Valentina & the manager Violet are amazing! They make you feel like home!

Excellent food

What a fantastic place for Mexican food! It was recommended by Il Divino across the road who happens to be the same owner (and equally a fantastic restaurant). 10/10 for ambience, quality of food, price, professionalism and friendliness and quick and efficient service. So impressed by this venue that I have already been here twice during my vacation in NYC! Brenda our waiter really stood out and made our welcome extra special!! Will be definitely visiting again when I’m back in NYC! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Love this place! The waiters are super nice (especially Brenda!) and the food is well served and delicious.

Wonderful guacamole. My wife & I just wanted a very light meal to share & it was perfect. Fresh, spicy, & delicious. The size of the meal was also quite generous, even though it was shown as an entree. Our waiter service was very good too. I’d certainly return to try some other meals.

Being hungry i found this place on accident. I walked in and first impression was awesome🤩! The food came quickly and I was flashed by the beautiful presentation. The taste was heavenly. The best mexican restaurant in NY for sure! 10/10 service as well

Delicious food, resonable prices, a bit off the main tourist regions

I loved everything about this place.

Great place, great food, great staff. May I recommend the Chicken Enchiladas with the Salsa Verde. The shredded chicken has flavor on its own but is upgraded with the Salsa verde and the melted cheese on top. The Carne Asada Tacos are simple yet delicious. Topped off with guac and on grilled onions. They aren't the typical bigger tacos we get. They are on the smaller side which can perhaps be eaten in two bites. The Nachos are a great starter to your meal. They are not your typical stacked up nachos with shreddes cheese, lettuce & mid tortilla chips that have the sodium levels through the roof. With these nachos you can taste each ingredient in every bite- Melted cheese, refried beans, jalapeños, Mexican cream & cheese. Definitely taste more homey. The Guacamole is pretty decent, taste fresh and appropriately salted. The one downside, in my opinion, are the portions. And I'm speaking specifically for the food that I got. For example you only get two enchiladas when in most restaurants, standard is 3. The tacos are, like I said, on the smaller side. And the nachos are smaller portions compared to others. Just keeping in mind these are Manhattan prices we're paying. BUT, they definitely have quality. And if I had to choose, I would definitely choose quality over quantity.

Careful about the Happy Hour scam: they have a big sign up front about happy hours. But when the bill comes its all regular prices arguing it only applies to the bar. Well, it didn’t say that on their sign nor did the waiters inform you. I would call that deceiving advertisement, but as a tourist you can’t sue anybody in this country. Would have come back for the food, though…, but not to this deceiving business.
