10/10 Highly recommend.

This was a really nice campsite. It didn't work to well for us with a roof top tent 😕 we had to walk a way to and from the actual camp pad with the fire pit, but that's not their fault I should have researched better. The bathrooms were really clean and real toilets which was a nice surprise, I loved the dishes cleaning area and the area to get supplies. And the best part was the STARS!!!! Completely open skies. Thanks Ramble for a good time. Is there a site that is better for rooftop tents? If so we will be back

Super off the grid but has hot showers and well maintained modern bathrooms. Awesome extra amenities that you can buy/rent for a decent price. Make sure to take a bike ride on trail behind campsite area for fun exhibits. Highly recommend for camping close to the National Sand Dunes!

Let me say that Ramble has become my favorite campground! The person/people who designed the entire concept loves to camp, knows what campers want! It was a bit glampy in the best way. Great cover, camp stove and grill. Awesome fire-pits, rentable gear, super friendly staff! I almost gave 4 stars under service because on our last night someone was blasting Travis Tritt and talking loudly until 1am. The customer service rep was trying to call and text the only campers they had in their system for that area. Unfortunately they weren’t supposed to be there so I think they were bothering a perfectly quiet dad and his kids 🫣. The suggestion I would have is to make sure the host makes a round when a complaint is called in. Also post a placard in the campsite with the main rules and payment information. Even with the annoying honky tonkers, we are ready to go back! I appreciate Scott for his efforts at 1am to remedy the situation! Thank you!

What an amazing camp experience! All of the little conveniences you want (hot showers, bike and wagon rentals, etc) while still feeling like you’re tent camping. Perfect for couples and families. The camp host Natalie was super friendly and helpful. Quick drive to the Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls, highly recommend!

Ramble is IT! A perfect mix of camping and glamping with lovely hot outdoor showers (incredible for getting the sand off after a trip to the dunes!), scenic views, hospitality (Natalie the site manager was so helpful and kind!) and just the right amount of amenities to have an easy camping experience while still being “in the wild”. I want a Ramble at every national park and would stay there every time. There’s ample space between campsites so you feel comfortable in your own spot. Firewood for purchase and fat tire bikes for renting. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Ramble!

Awesome place. Very comfortable, nice flat tent pads. Awesome grill kitchen and fire pit area. Fun horse shoes toss and bean bag toss games. Bathrooms were spotless and showers were perfect nice hot water once the first cycle runs. Fire wood was easily available and bought. Views were amazing, We had a great time.

Could not have had a better experience for a first time family camping trip! Loved the adventure campsite we choose; came with chairs, table, fire pit, tent pad, gas grill and stove, leash for dogs, and the hot showers were great! We had the best time and want to make this an annual trip for our family! I reached out to Ramble prior to our trip with some questions and the host was so friendly, helpful, and nice. Really can’t say enough good things about Ramble!

Amazing camping spot! The Signature Plus campsite was perfect for our group with 2 families. The bike trail and playground were a hit with the kids. Hot showers and flush toilets were a nice amenity. About 30 min drive to Sand Dunes. Natalie, the camp host, was always responsive and so friendly. We will definitely be back and can’t wait for other locations to open!!

Ramble was incredible. If you are on the fence about camping, new to it, or just enjoy having a few of the finer things in life while being out in the wilderness, this is the place for you. It was my kids first time camping and we didn't know what to expect -- by the end, my 6 year old was asking if there was any way she could have her birthday party there. While we thought we were going mainly for the sand dunes, my kids enjoyed exploring the camp area just as much, if not more than the dunes. I would recommend this to anyone on the fence about camping. Great amenities, spread out campsites, and just enough modernity to make it comfortable.

Amazing camp sites and views, clean, hot showers, flushing toilets, friendly staff...What else can you ask for? Don't bring bikes. They have plenty along with sand boards for rent. There's disc golf and wifi. Kids have no problem staying busy. We loved it.

I have been camping my entire life in many different states and can hands down say this is one of the best campsites I have ever stayed at. We absolutely loved our stay. The campground has amazing amenities including hot showers, a dishwashing sink, bike rental, sand sled rental for the dunes, a small “store” where you can purchase items like sunscreen/firewood, as well as small playgrounds for children. The site we rented included a sunshade, grill, propane burners (pans needed to cook on it), table, 4 chairs, a fire pit, a dog leash, tent pad, and a fire pit. We brought a large tarp and hung it up in addition to the sunshade. The wind can really pick up and blow tons of sand and dust around. We used the tarp to block out the sand from our eating area. I also recommend bringing your own drinking water. They have well water at the site and it tastes of sulfur. Don’t wait, book a stay immediately. You won’t regret it!!!

My family of four spent two nights at Ramble at Great Sand Dunes group site with my friends. Everything was absolutely exceptional. The amenities were perfect (hot showers, grills, flushing toilets, potable water… the list goes on!) and the views were breathtaking. We loved the bike path and the provided bikes were so fun. My son said he wished we could stay forever. We can’t with to come back!

After trying for 3 years straight for the spot I wanted at Pinon Flats campground, I stumbled upon Ramble. I have a 28’ trailer and it was great - water and sewer included. No electric but we dry camp all the time so not an issue. HUGE sites, camp kitchens, hammocks, wagons, amazing fire pits with lounge chairs and THE coolest bike and hiking trails. Forgot your bike? No problem, Ramble had plenty you can borrow. Need a shower or flush toilet? Done. Less than 20 minutes to the dunes. Ramble has ruined me for all other campsites.
