Usually go to a different dog wash but decided to check this place out. Despite advertising that they supply all the shampoos there was only one bottle of empty shampoo. The stations were also quite dirty. $20 for 20 minutes is also more expensive than another place in town.
Didn't even bother giving my dog a bath here. Waste of a trip.
I get this probably isn't the main part of their business but they've put zero effort into this.
Avoid.
Thank you Raincoast. Honest, Friendly, and Great Customer Service.
Cancelled last minute cancel on an appt for interior detailing m.
Very inconvenient and no accommodating their inconveniences
We've been washing our vehicles there for sometime now & are really quite pleased with the finished result on each one.
The heavy truck wash sucked, the wand had no pressure no soap no wax,the brushes were worn out and no soap flow to it.I was charged $120 and an absolute terrible experience never again.

Hi Shawn,
Sorry to hear that you didn't have the experience you were expecting. We test our system daily and it was running properly the day you were here. You may have been using the low pressure spot free option. There is a delay on the foam coming to the brush because the lines are really long coming from the pump room. We strive to provide a great facility and appreciate when people come into the office to let us know of any issues, so we can resolve it.

Hi Kyle,
Thank you for leaving us a review, we appreciate it!
Thank you for leaving us a review, we appreciate it!
Got an oil change here on a road trip this summer. Just did the next oil change back at home and found that they didn’t remove the old drain plug gasket and simply added another on top. Very unimpressed with this poor service, especially given the crazy price I paid of $140 even when I provided my own filter.
Having 2 gaskets stacked on each other can cause a leak, potentially leading to oil starvation and engine failure. It’s lucky that it didn’t leak and that I check my oil regularly.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here for vehicle service of any kind.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your concern and we are glad to hear that your vehicle is running properly. The price of oil jumped up $2/L on July 1/26, so our costs have had to increase to reflec this. We will review what happened to ensure that we improve our service moving forward.
Take care.

Wasn’t overly impressed with service. The tech working on the vehicle was nice enough but the guy working the cash register wasn’t interested in giving full attention. If the phone rings, the priority switches to the caller and you’re left waiting until the call is finished. The guy even gets up and goes to shop to check on something then gets back to the phone and finally finishes the call.
I’m not local to the area but I usually don’t get this type of service.
You be the judge. Just stating my observations.

Hi Al,
Thank you for your feed back. I am sorry to hear you were not impressed with the service. I don't know the specifics of your interaction, but we value all our customers. Sometimes there are urgent priorities to deal with so a phone-in caller may take presidence, but we usually keep our focus on people in the shop and put callers on hold. We will review our procedures to do better in the future.
Take care.

Got a bunch of car repairs done over the course of a couple weeks in preparation for a road trip to Prince George. Most of the repairs were done fine, but the lack of communication made the process very frustrating and stressful at times.
First, I had to leave my car at the shop overnight due to the front right sway bar breaking during repairs (my car is old, it happens) and they promised to start working on it first thing the next morning. I called two hours after opening and nothing was done, since they were “waiting for me to confirm” I wanted the repair done, when I had said the day before that I would. Either way, what else was I supposed to do, let my car sit in the shop for the rest of time? This two-hour delay may seem negligible at the surface, but it caused me to miss an event I had planned to make it to that night.
The mechanic ended up re-threading the sway bar and assured it would be good to go for my trip to PG, only for it to come loose and make constant clicking or clunking noises by the time I got to Burns Lake.
This was all on top of multiple phone calls back and forth being promised that they did in fact have parts in stock, only for that to not be true.
After the final repair, I was promised a phone call when everything was done. Nothing. Wasted an hour and a half of my day when my car was ready. And while I was given a discount for all the hassle, the price of all the repairs still exceeded what I was quoted.
While I understand many aspects of my situation were out of their control (such as parts arriving late), the experience was still disappointing overall. It seems that the lack of communication between employees led to many of the issues I dealt with. I am new to Terrace and this was my first time getting my car serviced anywhere in the region. Next time, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Hi Erik,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback, and welcome to Terrace. While we're glad the core repairs were completed, we are truly sorry for the frustration, stress, and inconvenience you experienced throughout the process.
You are completely right—clear internal communication and prompt updates are essential, especially when you are preparing for a long road trip to Prince George. We dropped the ball on following up when your car was ready, confirming your repair approval, and keeping accurate tabs on part availability. We are actively reviewing our internal team processes to ensure these communication gaps don't happen again.
We also take your safety very seriously and are deeply concerned to hear about the sway bar coming loose near Burns Lake. We would like the opportunity to inspect and fix that issue for you at no cost to ensure your vehicle is safe.
Even though you mentioned plans to go elsewhere, we would welcome the chance to speak with you directly and see how we can make this right. Please reach out to us at 250-638-0072 or Jayson@raincoastservicecentre.ca and ask for Jayson Tuesday to Saturday or Ava Monday to Friday.
Sincerely,
Rain Coast Management

Hi Joseph, Thanks for supporting our locally owned and operated family business. We appreciate you. Safe Travels!
The oil change was very quick. They offer to top up your windshield fluid, which is nice. It’s not courtesy. You have to pay extra five dollars plus tax to top it up.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for leaving us a review, we appreciate it. Sorry for the misunderstanding with the washer fluid. If it's just a top up we don't charge extra, however if it is 1 Litre or more then there is an additional fee. Unfortunately, our suppliers keep increasing their prices so we have to pass that on to our guests. We do have a loyalty program where you save 50% on your oil change after 7 visits. All the best!

I paid for the top-tier wash, but the truck still came out with noticeable dirt and bug splatter on the front. Unfortunately, the results didn’t match the price or expectations, so I can’t recommend this car wash based on my experience.

Thank you for leaving us a review. We are glad that it was enjoyable and look forward to seeing you again!
My parents just were here and asked for the basic detail package for my mom’s birthday. They were quoted 129$ they had there van for two days. After a few hours they were told they had hair in the vehicle so it would be an additional 130$ charge. They agreed later that day they said there was mold and would be an additional 130$ charge. When they picked up the van not one thing was wiped down they did a quick vacuum and sprayed off the floor mats. Maybe it’s because they are seniors and thought they were
an easy target. Not sure. Oh and they didn’t even wash the outside of the vehicle. I will no longer support this business.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We were disappointed to read your review because it does not reflect the process that took place during your parents' visit.
When their vehicle arrived, our technicians documented its condition with photos. During the inspection, we found a significant amount of pet hair and mold that required considerably more time than is included in our basic detail package. Mold also requires additional safety precautions and protective equipment for our staff, so we do not treat it as part of a standard detail. Before any additional work was performed, we contacted your parents, explained our findings, provided updated pricing, and received their approval to proceed.
We take pride in treating every customer with honesty, fairness, and respect. The suggestion that additional charges were based on your parents' age is simply not true.
We're genuinely sorry to hear they were not satisfied with the finished result. If there are specific areas they feel were missed, we would welcome the opportunity to review the work with them. Our goal is always to provide quality service, transparent communication, and a positive experience for every customer.

Rinse water is cold, foam brush had no soap and vacuum was barely sucking. 14 mins wash/presoak/brush/rinse for 32 dollars then 2 mins 32 secs for 6 bucks to figure out vacuum doesnt work and rinse the floor mats. I went to canadian tire and bought a shop vac for 49 bucks.

HI Scott,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your visit didn't meet your expectations.
The issues you described with the foam brush, vacuum, and water temperature are certainly not the experience we aim to provide. Our equipment is inspected regularly, but occasionally problems can arise between maintenance checks. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention so we can investigate and address them.
We'd welcome the opportunity to make this right. If you could contact us directly or stop by the office with the date and approximate time of your visit, we'll be happy to look into what happened and discuss a resolution.
We value your business and hope you'll give us another opportunity to provide the quality experience we're known for.

Now I remember why I stopped using them. Was brush put out next to no soap and was ready for replacment. Go to rince and it randomly kept shooting out soap. So now my truck is covered in white spots. All thst for $25

Stop into the office so we can look into this for you. We do sometimes have faulty equipment and we don't always catch it until someone lets us know.
