100 stars! These guys are so great. We had an old treadmill and a few computers we wanted to get rid of. I emailed them to make sure they'd take them and they quickly confirmed. We procrastinated for many months after which time we also had a gas grill we needed to dispose of. I emailed them again and again they quickly confirmed they would take it all. I called ahead so they were prepared to wipe our hard drives and they were super quick to help us unload the truck, they destroyed the hard drives quickly right in front of us, and were friendly, funny and super nice through all interactions. I definitely recommend Rain City Recycling if you want to feel better about throwing things away and also work with a great crew.

Great people! No any questions. Super fast. They don’t take light bulbs but they generously helped me get rid of two.

He sold me a defective Microsoft pen. I called his place twice and no response. He misrepresented his product and sold me a defective item. I bought an extra batter and new pen tips for it to see if that was the problem but no, it still didn't work. He hasn't called me back to resolve this. I'm definitely going to file a complaint to the Washington state attorney office against this company. (ONE STAR)
UPDATE: They finally messaged me back. They told me a refund is no problem so all I had to do is meet up at their store at 11am. The following day I go there exactly at 11AM, no one is there. I message them and tell them I'll wait until 1115. No response, so I leave. Later that day he apologizes and said he was in the back working and forgot about the time, which is inconsiderate to me but I think its understandable as his job could be very random? He eventually refunded me via venmo for the product and compensation for my time/troubles. I upgraded their rating to 4 stars, and not 5 stars, as I feel that this was not handled in a timely manner and that I doubt they would have not reached out to me if I didnt put up this review. Now I will say that I do appreciate that they compensated me slightly for everything but I still want to be honest about my review for everyone who is reading this and will be going to this place for business. They seem to be nice people and are considerate when a problem is known. They will go out of their way to rectify it, so I'm appreciative of that.
