Do Not Recommend Extremely slow and disorganised service with very poor communication. During the move all 8 of my dining chairs were damaged, with chipping that appears to have occurred from stacking without protection. The chairs were placed against the garage wall and the damage was not brought to my attention before payment was taken. When I later discovered the damage and contacted the company, my messages were ignored for several days. The business declined responsibility and attributed the damage to rain, despite the truck being parked directly next to the garage and items moved straight inside. After significant back and forth they offered a $50 refund, which does not cover the cost of repairing the chairs. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service.

Worse removalist WARNING . To anyone wanting to use this company QUICK SHIFT. DO NOT use them. They are one of the worse removalist companies I have ever come across. I hired them to move a large quantity of items which belonged to another person. I gave them a clear intruction, details, facts and information regarding the job. They fully understood what needed to be done and told me there would not be any issue with delivery. They did not stick to the time schedule as promised. I had to call them 3 times to find out what was going on. They made me wait from 9 am in the morning and did not arrive until 2pm. When they arrived they asked me fir up front payment of $350. I paid them thinking everything was fine. When they began loaning the items into the truck they took no care with the items and began throwing boxes into the truck as if they were nothing.. and while they were doing it they were laughing the whole time. I had to tell them off and not to throw the items into the truck. As I watched them packing items into the truck they had no idea what they were doing.i had to intervene and tell them what to do and then I had to get in the truck and start parking things myself.i was constantly having to tell them what to do. They were so disorganised and had no idea what they were doing. When the truck was packed and ready to go I did a quick check to make sure theg had missed anything. While I was doing this they suddenly jumped in the truck and drove off. They gave me no receipt or paperwork for the job.about 30 minute later they called me to say no one was home at the address I had given them. I told them to go to the side gate and drop everything off at the rear of the house. 30 minutes past and suddenly they were back at my home. I asked them what was going on they said no one was home at the other property so they are now bring the stuff back to my house to drop off. I said no you are not dropping the stuff off here. They were suppose to drop it off at the other property. I gave you company clear precise instructions. You understand clearly what needed to be done. They then started arguing with me. After further discussion i told them to take the item back to their storge facilities and hold the items there until they could deliver the item to the property. They refused to do this. They then said if they had to put the stuff in storage i had to pay them $500. I told them i was not going to pay them that money and said they were now trying to scam me. They then told me they were going to dump everything back onto my property. I told them not to trespass on my property and to go away and deliver the stuff to the address I had given them. They refused to do this and then said they would dump everything on the front of my verge. I told them NO you can't do that.. that is illegal dumping. It's against the law. They said they didn't care. I was then forced to call the city of stirling security who came to my home and told them they were not allowed to dump the stuff on the verge and if they did they would be fined. He told them it was illegal to dump anything on the verge. I then spoke with the company boss and he abused, threatened argued with me and did not care about anything I had to say. As I result of his disgusting behaviour i was forced to hang up. They removalist then drove off. As a result of what was going on I was forced to block my driveway with my vehicles in the event they may try to return while I was asleep. The following morning when I got up and looked out the front of my property I notice they had returned and dumped some of the property out on the verge. It was horrified to see what they had done especially when I say they had throw the expensive racing bicycle on the ground. I am now waiting to see if they are going to continue to come and dump more stuff out the front verge as the days go by. I will not report the company and take legal act against them.Talk about a serious nightmare these people are giving me. Their behaviour is atrocious and so so so bad.. Anyone reading this.. please do not use this company QUICK SHIFT..otherwise it could happen to you.

I had a 2 bedroom apartment with furniture to go into storage 2km away .3 men were sent and the job took nearly 7 hours! They stacked the storage unit poorly with no thought to how to do it compactly resulting in me having to pay for another unit the whole time saying I had a lot of boxes and a very heavy piece of furniture! We now have to remove it all to redo! Photos of the furniture and stairs had been provided prior to the day and they suggested the size of the truck which needed 2 trips! It was very stressful!

Highly unprofessional approach. Had a slot booked for house move with them, got a message to get job done two hours prior to the booked timing, which was un feasible. Then got another text saying job guys are running late by three hours. Not reliable at all. Ruined all our plans of move, ended up cancelling the job out of frustration as could not just sit back with whole household packed in boxes and waiting for half a day. Be careful they are not quick movers but shit movers. Moving date 30th Nov 2024 arrival time was 1 to 3PM but no one arrived till 3PM. And asked for 2 hours delay arrival this is really unprofessional, contact me for more information.

Good afternoon Sahil,

This job was booked by your wife at 3:30 PM yesterday. We made last-minute arrangements for you at a standard rate and provided a time slot of 1-3 PM for our arrival. Please understand that jobs are typically booked well in advance, and last-minute bookings during busy periods may sometimes require adjustments.

Today, we asked your wife if we could arrive between 11 AM and 1 PM, but she declined, stating that she couldn’t start before 1 PM. We then informed her that the driver would need to attend another job and would arrive during the original time slot of 1-3 PM. However, the earlier job took longer than expected, so we updated you, advising that the movers would arrive between 3:30-4 PM. This slight delay was reasonable given that the booking was organized less than 24 hours prior.

We understand your decision to cancel the booking. Since no advance payment was taken and the booking was made on short notice at a normal rate, we did our best to accommodate your request. If timing was a critical factor, it would have been ideal to book well in advance.

We believe it’s unfair to criticize a company that went out of its way to help at short notice, without charging a premium or taking an advance, especially when the cancellation was initiated by you.

We hope you’ve found another removal company that better meets your requirements in terms of timing and pricing.

This was by far THE most amazing move ever. They accommodated my move with short notice for a Sunday. They provided clear quotes and information and were in contact throughout. Three of the most respectful, hard working, careful gentleman did an outstanding job in getting absolutely everything from one place to the other without a glitch, without damage and made sure everything went exactly where we needed it to go. Highly recommend Quick Shift Removals… we had a house move booked in at 9am with a different company “Movee”, (DONT USE) which turned out to be a third party booking agent who use dodgy contractors. We needed to be out of our property on this day as we had the settlement the very next day. After “Movee” were an hours late we gave up on them and tried frantically to find another moving company that could help us at such short notice… that’s when we found QUICK SHIFT REMOVALS!!. Spoke to John the owner and explained our situation, he was very reassuring mentioning that he is the owner of the company and can guarantee that they will attend the time block of between 2-4pm that day. Saved the day! The guys he sent arrived at 1:30pm… early! Satveer & Shanu got to work immediately and got the job done, working all the way until 7:30pm that night. They turned a highly stressful situation into a positive experience. Just wish we had found them first and could have booked them from 9am so the day wasn’t so hectic! Thank you to Satveer & Shanu for all your hard work and thanks to John for getting us booked in at such short notice. Greatly appreciated 🙏🏼
