As a chef of 25+ years, I have developed arthritis, carpal tunnel, and ulnar tunnel. The pain escalated and the mobility declined to a point where I was no longer able to hold a knife. I had to pivot my career. Even though I had made efforts to change my career the pain did not decrease. About 4 months ago, it had become so severe that I could not hold or shake a person’s hand, or, type a text with my thumb, without excruciating pain. Remind you, I’m a chef. I know no pain! 😄 Because I chose not to pursue an invasive treatment option, a friend suggested that I reach out to QC Kinetix and inquiry about their Shock Wave therapy treatment. Five treatments later and I have 100% full use of my right hand and wrist again. The treatment has worked phenomenally for me. The doctors thoroughly explain how the therapy works and offer guidance to enhance the benefits of the sound wave therapy while not receiving treatment. I literally thought I would never have “normal” use of my right hand and wrist again. This therapy has improved my quality of life tenfold, and I recommend it a million times over!! Chefs, I’m looking at you!! 🧑🏻‍🍳

Our experience with QC Kinetix seemed to be all about the money and not the patient. My wife, Phyllis, whom I urged to go to them for services (after being influenced by the multitudes of commercials that are played 100x a day). Insurance will not pay for any of their services, so we took $12,000 out of our savings in hopes for her to finally find some relief from ongoing pain she has experienced for years. Biggest mistake I ever made!!!!!! After initial consultation, and without x-raying or reviewing any previous medical records, the Asheville office was quick to draw up a contract. We agreed, with hopes that this would finally be of help, like the sales people wearing scrubs assured her that their programs could help her. Over halfway through treatment, with little to no relief at all, it was finally acknowledged that the type of issues she has, would not be able to be treated at all!!!! She would wake up in the middle of the night with so much pain that she went to the hospital, because of her shoulder, that had been being treated (poorly) by QC Kinetix. After all the treatments, ie: blood being spun into who knows what and then being re-injected into her problem areas, we are no better off now than we were upon initial consultation, and any following communication with them is another invoice after invoice. We are now out of savings, and the office is unwilling to explore any other options, in regards to finding the relief that was sold to her. It is in our best judgement that this is nothing more than a money gimmick and the whole platform of this "medical treatment" is just "doctors" trying to sell people like us what turned out to be a fake dream come true. We cannot and would not recommend their services to even our worst enemies. She is still at home, with all of her aches and pains, and a depleted savings. If someone from their office would reach out to us, we would be obliged to adjust this review, but as it stands, we don't see that happening, simply because we don't have any more money to spend with them.

I am eternally grateful for the amazing team and care I received at QC Kinetix in Asheville! I had tremendous swelling and pain in my thumbs after being a hairstylist for the last 28 years. I was getting to the point where it was becoming extremely painful to continue doing my job and figured there was no hope in helping the arthritis that was beginning. I was treated for both thumbs and a toe I had broken years ago that was beginning to show signs of arthritis and pain, and in four months the pain and swelling in all of those joints is completely gone! I am able to continue my work with no issues and couldn't be happier and more relieved! I highly recommend QC Kinteix and the team that works there is incredibly kind and compassionate. If I could give a ten star rating I would!

Q C Kinetics has been the best thing I could’ve ever done. I have lived with chronic back pain in my piriformis, a very difficult area to treat, the staff at South Asheville. Q C Kinetics has been so helpful and willing to work with me.
