Wonderful place to eat. So comfortable and quiet.
Having a few snacks for breakfast options were nice too.
Beautiful and specious place with so many apps to relax. The lazy forest was my favourite!
I wish there was bigger show stalls so I could change right after it was a bit cramped.
Overall would definitely recommend

Première expérience en auberge de jeunesse ( chambre familiale), nous avions un peu d'inquiétudes et d'appréhension.
Tellement agréablement surpris!!! C'est finalement l'endroit PARFAIT pour aller dans le vieux Québec quand tu as des ados. Ils ont de la place pour "chiller " et nous pour aller prendre un verre à côté !
Nous reviendrons......

☹ Le petit déjeuner : de toutes petites portions individuelles emballées, de qualité médiocre. Pas de thé, pas de pain ni viennoiseries, il ne devrait même pas être proposé, il dessert vraiment l'auberge.

Well-located, cozy and creative hostel
☺ The location was perfect for visiting Old Quebec, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel itself is super cool! The fitness centre, hammock room, little library, and multiple seating rooms were perfect common areas. The bed in the double room was extremely comfortable and the shared bathrooms were clean.
☹ The double room was extremely tiny- the bed filled the space wall to wall (with just a couple feet between it and the door) so it was difficult to find room for our suitcases and belonging. It would be useful to put some shelves for more storage space. I appreciated the free breakfast, but it was very basic.

☺ I stayed at this hostel in Quebec City on November 20, 2025, arriving in the evening around 7 or 7:30 pm. Overall, I must say the hostel itself is very clean, and I would give high marks for its cleanliness and general upkeep.
Cleanliness & Facilities:
The hostel is indeed spotless, and I appreciate the neat environment. However, there were a couple of quirks with the service that I found a bit unusual.
☹ Reception & Service:
When I checked in, the receptionist—a lady who was polite but maybe a bit overly instructive—gave me a lot of very basic, almost too obvious instructions. For example, she reminded me to wash my glass after using it and to keep the bathroom clean, which I felt was something most guests would naturally know. It felt a bit like being lectured on common sense.
More importantly, she forgot to give me a blanket when handing over the bed linens. That night, I ended up feeling quite cold because I arrived late and didn't realize there was no blanket on the bed. I had to get it the next morning, which was a bit inconvenient.
Breakfast:
Finally, about the breakfast: it was more of a snack than a proper breakfast. I’d recommend that the hostel improve the variety and quality of their morning offerings so that guests have a more satisfying start to the day.

Pros
1. Location: Pretty good. Most of the places I wanted to visit were within walking distance.
2. Cleanliness: The washroom and showers were kept clean and well-maintained.
Cons
1. Noise: Weekday stays are generally fine, but I wouldn’t recommend staying from Thursday to Saturday unless you’re here specifically for the nightlife. There’s a bar across the street that plays loud music until around 3 a.m., making it very difficult to fall asleep. The hotel might consider providing earplugs, or guests should bring their own. Also, be prepared to hear people coming back from nightlife—there were loud moaning sounds around 5–6 a.m., and since the soundproofing is basically nonexistent, it was impossible not to wake up.
2. Room layout: In my opinion, the rooftop room has a strange layout. There’s a small door near the foot of the double bed leading to an additional space meant for a kids’ play area, but it felt a bit unsettling to me. I ended up covering the doorway with a blanket because the design made me uncomfortable.
