Ett charmigt hotell i bohemisk vandrarhems stil. Rummen saknar förvaring och hängare. Badrummet var det konstigaste där golvvärmen var på maximalt så man nästan brände fötterna och vatten rann åt fel håll i duschen. Toaletten var väldigt högt placerad men duschen lågt. Lite kontinental Hostel känsla med spelrum och barer. Som barnfamilj var det inte så bra då hög musik spelas i baren till kl 01 på kvällen båda nätterna. Några saker var trasiga i rummet. Lite dyrt och sunkigt för att kallas hotell men ändå bra läge och trevligt bemötande.

We booked the ”gaming room” (darts, cornhole, shuffleboard) as a venue for a party, and it all worked out great. Great staff that were receptive to adjustements and changes on the fly. Bartenders especially were stellar. Would recommend.

Undvik det här hotellet – min sämsta hotellupplevelse någonsin
Min vistelse på hotellet var tyvärr katastrofal från början till slut.
I duschen fanns svartmögel, något som är både otrevligt och ohygieniskt. När jag väl skulle lägga mig upptäckte jag dessutom hårstrån i sängen, vilket tydligt visar att rummet inte hade städats ordentligt.
Maten var inte bättre. Till middagen serverades kall torsk, och som om inte det vore nog fick vi samma mat till middag som hade serverats som lunch dagen innan. Det kändes varken fräscht eller professionellt.
Ärligt talat finns det ingenting positivt att säga om det här stället.

J'ai adoré mon hébergement au Botanika pendant le festival du court métrage d'Uppsala. J'y extrêmement bien dormi et mangé. Je recommande vivement ! 🙃

Very basic rooms with minimal amenities but good for a stay in Uppsala. The breakfast is extensive and there are always friendly hotel staff at reception. In the mornings, I could smell some cooking odours but that might just be my particular room. Wish there were things like tea and coffee, and a hairdryer in all rooms but these are minor in the grand scheme of things.

Overpriced hotel. Lots of minor problems that sum up: old malfunctioning shower, dirty floor under the bed, no wardrobe, no kettle...
