For years when a pool issue arose, we just called the company that built the pool many years ago. But a couple of years back we had a problem with the variable speed pump they had installed to replace the original pump. The tech that came out told us the only thing we could do was replace the pump. That didn't make sense to me because the pump was running, just not at the speed necessary to do the job. I called ProTouch and Lance came out and discovered that the pump had not been properly connected to the controller, that the way it was wired caused it to operate at only one speed and also caused a relay in the controller to burn out. He rewired the connection using a previously unused relay and the pump has worked fine ever since. Whenever a problem arises, I call Lance and he takes care of it at a reasonable price. He has even talked me through adjusting the valve settings over the phone for an immediate fix. Very knowledgeable and very responsive!

Yes he really is!!! Thanks to Kevin, my knowledge about the pool has gone from absolutely zero to something basic in a very short time (about 2 weeks), and I am starting to feel comfortable maintaining the pool myself. He even walked me through how to balance the pool the first time. I am surprised he is willing to walk me through despite this, which could potentially compete with his business. This shows how passionate he truly is with pool services, and he invested in a long-term partnership with customers.

Despite the first time when I called him for a pool inspection at the last minute, he was magically able to find time to help me and even arrived 5-10 mins before me!! Kevin helped me inspect the pool and identified a number of potential concerns in the pool that I need to address (things and questions that I don’t even want to ask!!). He also gave me at least 3 hours of complimentary consultation that contains valuable pool knowledge and common pitfalls of costly mistakes that I need to avoid. Protouch offers great service and they are very professional. I really like their email with pictures they send after each service showing the quality cleaning and the closing of all gates. Their cost is also reasonable. We've had 3 other service companies in the past with lower and higher cost, but don't compare with Protouch for service, quality and communication skills. Allan Bannister, the service manager, also has great communication skills.

My pool hasn't quite run well in a while. Clogged jets, an air leak, just not right. Kevin answered my call right away, the office called a short while later to schedule Lance to come have a look. Everyone I dealt with was professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgable. Everyone took the time to explain what was going on clearly and talk through solutions. Overall a great experience.

Lance and team were outstanding. My motor died on us and we needed it fixed asap. I work 12 hours a day and the customer service was very patient with my wife and ask her questions. Had a quote the same day for my review and two days later they were at the house on time, new motor installed and tested and programmed and he even took the time to show me how everything worked and why it worked that way. I called Protouch today and Kevin answered right away. I'm currently in the process of selling my house which has a large pool in the back yard. I called to get an inspection done because I wanted to be proactive with potential buyers and let them know the condition of the pool. It's an older pool but has been very well maintained. Since we live in CA, clearly the concrete around the pool had some cracks around it and settling over the years.
