Make sure you tally your total! The staff was very nice, friendly, interactive, and helpful. Staging was great, organized, priced. The only issue I have is what I was charged when checking out. At first I was told $191 and change. I turned to my husband and asked what did we buy? The gentleman went over our purchase, realizing he was overcharging for the curtains. My new total was $114 and change. Our friends check out, we all leave. On the way home we're going over what we purchased only to find we were still overcharged. I bought 2 sets of curtain panels at $30 each - $60 total, $14 outdoor metal table, $8 wood ball decor, $4 rope, all totaling $86 less tax. I can understand making a few dollars mistake, but not over $20. Very disappointed and will scrutinize purchase totals going forward! Another customer had the same complaint being overcharged. She saw us heading to our vehicle and said did you make sure you were charged correctly. Sad.

We went to the estate sale at ***************************** today, Friday, Aug. 21st. With my husband at the checkout I said to him I'll pay and the gentleman at the checkout joked I'll charge twice and take your money . While checking out the gentleman first told me it was $191 and change. I turned to my husband and asked what did we buy? The gentleman went over my purchase and realized he overcharged me. I purchased 2 sets of curtain panels at $30 each - $60 total, $14 black metal outdoor table, $8 wood ball decor, $4 rope, all totaling $86 less tax. Clearly I was overcharged over $20. As we were leaving, a woman who had checked out prior to us was overcharged at first and asked if we made sure we were charged correctly. This is clearly a 'problem'. I've notified the company via email. We'll see if they respond and what they intend to do.

I’ve spent the last month eyeing a pinball machine game with an error code that has been overpriced at $1600 on Facebook Marketplace for over a month. The error can mean up to $500 in repairs. This week, this estate sale company posted an event with the same game showing the same error code. Like many estate companies, they do not assist in moving large items, but my kid and I are experienced with pinball machines. We arrived prepared with a truck, 9/16" and 5/8" socket wrenches, an adjustable wrench, a hydraulic lift table, moving blankets, ratcheting cables, and a hand truck. Our only real concern was whether we would have to haul it across grass or mud. Unfortunately, this company chose to: • Keep a person stationed directly in front of the machine to prevent anyone from inspecting it for other damage (they also had a sign on a piano stating you could not touch it until purchase) • Leave a 200-300lb machine in an upstairs walk-in closet behind two narrow doors, meaning doors we’d need remove doors to carry the machine down a staircase • Price it at the high end of retail ($1000 more than the Facebook, this games prices if it were in near mint condition) Maybe their client did not really want to sell. Maybe their client is the same person who has been unsuccessfully trying to sell the game for $1600. But a professional estate sale company should know high-value items are priced below retail and that buyers expect to inspect them before purchase. I would not be leaving this review for those issues alone. I am leaving it because of how they treated my teenage son. He’d been shadowing me through the sale, ready to move the game. He found a vintage book clearly marked $12 inside the front cover (exactly as their signs instructed). A staff member tried to claim it was unpriced and should be $18 (the Amazon price). After he handed her the book, she checked the inside cover, saw the $12 sticker, agreed to honor it, and then put a second $12 sticker directly over the fragile, peeling graphics on the front cover. That kind of behavior is unnecessary and inappropriate. I will be avoiding this estate management company in the future.
