We chose to stay here before our flight home from VCE. Easy to access from the airport via taxi, but budget 45 euros each way. We had already seen Venice, but for those interested in touring the old city from here please note that the last free shuttle bus heads home around 1800 (potentially to drum up business for the pricey local restaurant). Rooms were very nice and well-equipped with beautiful bathrooms and good AC. Pool area was a lovely place to relax, but did notice the locals who had bought pool access and agree that poolside service was intermittent. I cannot recommend the spa/massage service, which is unfortunate because we had been looking forward to that after several days' hiking the Dolomites. The massage itself was just OK and the spa area was somewhat dark/cramped with American pop music playing. The saunas were also not turned on for our visit and so remained cold.

Meravigliosa villa del 500 finemente restaurata con affreschi bellissimi al suo interno. La mia visita alla villa è stata fatta per usufruire della piscina che si trova all’interno del parco. Ottimo il bar che offre un bel menù con deliziosi piatti per pranzo o Io ho scelto un piatto di affettati con burratina su letto di misticanza. Staff cortese e gentile. Necessaria ovviamente la prenotazione.Se amate un luogo riservato ed esclusivo lo consiglio.

Siamo stati invitati a una festa in questa villa. Per quanto riguarda lo sfarzo è la bellezza nulla da dire, ma mi sarei aspettato di più dal cibo e dalle bevande. Francamente il posto lascia presagire una qualità alta anche nelle preparazioni e dalla qualità ma così non è stato. Una piccola delusione. Camere buone...il prezzo proporzionato alla posto che è comunque bello.

We stayed here our last day in Italy to be close to the Airport. The staff was super friendly. The poolside service was a bit slow. The rooms were great as was the shower. We ate here as well and had an excellent meal!

Absolutt fantastic, great service and very nice rooms. Fantastic place with a lovely garden and a beautiful pool area. A special thanks to our pool guy and the hotel driver - the experience became even better!

Sehr gepflegt und großzügige Hotelanlage mit großem Ausenpool ,sehr gutem Frühstücksbüffet , kostenlosem Shuttle nach Venedig

Hotel magiczny! Pelen historycznych akcentów! Nie wszystkim przypadnie do gustu ale wielbiciele i koneserzy historii go pokochają. Ponadto przepiękny ogród wokół i wysmienita obsluga.

Brilliant place very easy commute into Venice

Will definitely return Villa Barbarich is the quintessence of Italian vacation properties, very very pretty, the hotel and its surroundings. PROs Beautiful surroundings Comfortable bed Elevator Cool rooms Decent breakfast The hotel restaurant is quite OK too Large parking lot Transfer to Venice CONs Pool opens at 11am The cleaning standard is 7/10 at best. The rooms are a bit dusty, we had a child so we were unfortunate enough to have to check under the bed and wipe the floor with baby napkins - same goes for shelving units. Nothing major though. All in all, will definitely return.
