マリオットのプラチナ会員なので、日本や他の海外のホテルでは常にアーリーチェックイン(早い時は10時)をさせていただいていました。 11時にホテルに到着し、早くて14時にはチェックイン出来ると言われロビーで待っていました。ですが本来のチェックイン時間の15時をすぎても一向に呼ばれず…。なんとチェックイン出来たのは17:30でした。 スイートルームにアップグレードはしてくださいましたが、もうドン引きです。旅行という限られた人の時間をなんだと思ってるのでしょうか。 他のウェスティンにもいい思い出が無いので、ウェスティンを金輪際使う事は2度と無いでしょう。マリオットはラグジュアリーコレクションかリッツカールトンに限りますね。

الاوتيل جداً سيئه التكييف في الغرف حار و الخدمه جددداً بطيئه و اكل الاوتيل ابداً مو لذيذ .. طاقم الاستقبال لطيفين و يعتذرون على اي خطأ لاكن لا يحلون المشاكل الكثيره الي تحصل في الاوتيل .. لا يتم تغير المفارش بشكل يومي .. لا اكرر الاقامه فيه ولا انصح فيه ..

As a Titanium Elite member I never encountered a situation when a free reception desk person refused to help me with a related matter. This is not a premium service hotel but rather a motel kind. Expectations of customer service need to be lowered significantly.

Great hotel / Great staff It is a wonderful hotel, nice lobby, spacious room, comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful and incredibly friendly. From front desk to bellman, to the cleaning team. A special shout out to the manager of the Evo restaurant (on premisse restaurant) who very kindly accommodated us without a reservation even though the restaurant was having a couple of events (unfortunately I do not remember her name). In terms of location is not the closest to the main attraction but there is a metro station almost in front of the hotel and a Tram station next to it. These makes very easy to get anywhere in the city (eg: it takes 10 minutes to he Duomo). Also, it is less than a 10 minute walking distance to the train station, if you are coming or leaving by train you do not need to be concerned about a transfer. On a plus side, the TV has many channels in English which is very uncommon to find in Europe. All in all, no complaints, I highly recommend this place.

The attention to detail and the high level of service provided by the staff truly set this hotel apart. Overall, the Westin Palace Milan consistently delivers an exceptional experience, making it my preferred choice whenever I'm in Milan for business. Highly recommended!

This hotel is truly ridiculous. This hotel is truly ridiculous. Dirty rooms, no services, and they don't even change the sheets if you don't leave a tip. Terrible breakfast and food. The staff only cares about serving the managers of this "hotel," if you can even call it that. Rooms are dirty, room service is like having food thrown at you through the window. Awful, awful, awful.

What a way to end our vacation in Italy - this place hits a 10 in all the rankings The last night in Milan before returning home, we decided to splurge and stay here. The location is very convenient, just one stop on the Milan Metro from Milan Centrale train station. That made traveling here super quick and inexpensive, also a quick trip back to the train station and take the Malpensa Express to the airport. We had used our Marriott Platinum Elite free suite upgrade and that was granted. The king suite on the high floor was unbelievable!!! So opulent and luxurious. We admired the décor and ceilings. Lots of lighting so the room was not dim/dark. Very roomy with a fully stocked mini bar that is complimentary (on arrival day). Super comfortable king size bed. Two bathrooms (one shower, one with a tub and toilet). Ultra luxury toiletries, really got spoiled and pampered. It also had a sauna, which we did not get to enjoy. It was super quiet for a great night of sleep. We were supposed to be able to check in at 2 pm. Had our friends with us that would travel on to the airport that same night. We had planned to drop off our luggage in the room before heading out. After we found out we could not check in right away, the front desk supervisor made it "right" for us. She arranged for us to have cocktails in their lounge (comped us which was very welcomed). Our room was ready perfectly timed as we finished our cocktails. The service in the lounge was a bit slow. The staff at this hotel was very friendly. Compared to where we stayed near old town, there wasn't a lot of restaurants nearby. Perhaps most people dine in at the hotel. We walked a little bit before finding a cute bistro for dinner. There was a very small park just at the entrance, nothing to write home about. Overall, our experience here was a 10!

Great service and comfortable room I was visiting with a friend for 2 nights in early July. We had a great stay. We were greeted ahead of the normal check-in time and our room was ready for check-in. Alessandro was very helpful and quick get us registered and onward to our room. The gentleman at the concierge was really made great suggestions about a day trip out to Como. Originally, I had planned to only go to Como and Bellagio. He suggested a train ride out to Varenna followed by a quick ferry to Bellagio and another back to Como before taking the train back to Milan. It was the perfect day weather wise and were able enjoy the full itinerary! The young lady at concierge was also helpful in recommending an evening walk over to the Porto Nuova. Great to get a gelato and listen to live music at Grom. Honorable mention to Isabel at the front desk who went beyond on more than one occasion during our visit. She helped gain access to the terrace on the 8th floor (with a view of the Duomo) where I was making my bracelets for the Eras Tour. Also, when I realized that I didn't have enough 'letters' she assisted with making an order via Amazon for additional letters. Appreciated the Nesspresso machine in the room! Well appointed room with an excellent hair dryer.

Great hotel, bad Bar. We had a quite good stay at Westin Milano. Location is great (close to Metro station), rooms are good (spacious and comfortable bed) but avoid „The Lounge Bar“ (extremely unfriendly staff and high prices). We recommend a room at a higher floor because you might hear noise from the street and close-by park at lower floor rooms. Our experiences at the „Lounge Bar“ were a disaster. Although the „hardware“ is great the staff is ruining the bar experience. We visited the bar 4 times (in the hope experience will improve) and were disappointed every time. One time the wrong main dish was served, another time drinks were forgotten, everytime the staff was unfriendly. Our lowlight: we had 2 times in a row a - quite expensive - bottle of champagne. Staff didn’t re-fill glasses once but let the customer do it themselves. One evening they had tequila shots with US-American girls at the bar instead of serving customers. We recommend to visit other bars - like Principe Bar in Savoia Hotel opposite to Westin - where we had a wonderful evening.

Overpriced Terrible Service and Damaged our Property We had the misfortune of staying here on our vacation for 3 nights. When we arrived, there was an error in our reservation concerning points (not the hotel’s fault) and the manager on duty actually assisted us in getting a different room at the points rate we wanted but by doing so, he had to move our room. It was really nice of him because they charge almost $750 Euros a night which was out of our budget but we would have just moved hotels the next day. We offered to move rooms right then and there but he told us to stay in our current room for the night and just pack our luggage for them to move the next day while we were away on a full day tour and he said to give him our smaller carry on to store in their back room because with no safe, we had to store our valuables somewhere. The next day we left and all our bags were packed and ready for them and the carry on with our passports, jewelry and electronics was given to the front desk for safe keeping. When we arrived back at night, 13 hours later, our brand new luggage that we had just bought the day before in Milan near the hotel was broken. My husband went downstairs immediately and was told that they needed to speak to the manager who would be in only the following day. We explained we had another tour and they would need to call us but we provided them with pictures and a copy of the bill for the luggage. The next morning as we were leaving we left a note with our phone number explaining we were taking a day trip and would only be back around 6pm. They never called us so around 2pm my husband called and the manager on duty Luca told us that we had no proof that the staff broke the luggage and he wasn’t prepared to do anything about it. We explained clearly that if they didn’t do something we would be writing this exact review. He asked us if he could call us back in a half hour and of course, never did. Our expectation was that they replace the bag. We did not want money because we needed the bag for the rest of our vacation and since it was bought in Milan, there was no reason they could not do that. When we arrived back at the hotel at 6pm, we were “greeted” by Luca and 2 women who introduced themselves as the manager of the hotel and an operations manager. They said they conducted an “investigation” and decided we broke the suitcase. We asked them why would we spend $200 euros on Monday to then break the suitcase on Tuesday and of course they had no answer but the manager suggested we dropped the suitcase ourselves despite the fact that we went down to see them immediately after the damage was discovered. This particular suitcase had been lifted off the ground by the bellhop and put on a luggage holder so it could have easily been damaged when that was done but rather than take any responsibility, the manager doubled down and said it was our problem. I explained to her that I obviously could not force them to correct their staff’s damage but that I would certainly be writing this review and she said it wasn’t fair. We asked her if she thought it was fair that her staff broke our personal property and what did she think the likelihood of anyone believing that we bought a suitcase Monday, and had it damaged Tuesday when it wasn’t in our care and she said to write a review so she could reply. The lesson she taught her staff was to take no responsibility and blame the client. She also kept interrupting me while I was trying to speak. I am a Platinum Elite member and this has to be one of the most unprofessional managers I have ever met. I stay at Westins all over the world and this is sub par service. Definitely not Westin standards. I’m embarrassed for them but understand that if she leads the team it’s no surprise they would damage items and not take responsibility or even try to come to an arrangement. Accidents happen and all they had to do was make it right but to ambush us with 3 managers to tell us we damaged our own property that was in their care and then snidely say she couldn’t wait to reply to our review tells you everything you need to know about this property. Had they not really known it was their error there’s no way they would have tried to intimidate us with 3 senior managers. Moreover, and just as an aside, we ate at the hotel one of the nights we were here and so far it’s the worst meal we’ve had in Italy but that was just icing on the cake. For what this hotel charges per night (we stayed 2 of our nights on points) you have a dozen choices in the area in the Marriot brand that will likely be much better. With all that said, we didn’t let it ruin our vacation because Italy is beautiful and the majority of the people here are friendly and courteous. One terrible apple did not spoil the bunch for us.

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at the Westin. Carol & Arbon had great customer experience in helping our stay during our honeymoon feel very special. A surprise card & dessert was sent to our room for our honeymoon by them. The rooms are clean, beautiful, and spacious. Unlike other places we stayed at in Italy, the air conditioning actually worked in keeping the room cool and the beds were super comfy. We had amazing views in both the junior and executive suites. The executive suite even has its own steam room which was neat. We also appreciated Isabel in helping prepare an early morning ride for the airport and printing out our boarding passes. We had dinner at the PanEVO restaurant on site and the food was absolutely delicious! We would order the risotto & horse hanger again! We received great service from our server Luca. Great room service too. Very friendly door men too. The Lounge Bar has really good hot chocolate. Only thing, I would not eat breakfast here. The food was okay. Just very chaotic, very long wait times, and unfriendly staff for the breakfast. It was the exact opposite of the stellar customer service we had received from the other parts of the hotel. Overall, we would happily stay again!
