Beautiful old building centrally located Spend two nights here as part of an organised tour. Building beautiful, it was originally a bank and still had safe deposit boxes. Room was great with a bath, a rarity on the continent. It also had a coffee machine with coffee pods, again a rarity Only had breakfast here which was fine, didn’t have an evening mean here so can’t comment. Excellent location for the centre of town and all the local restaurants . Would recommendb

Recomendo Muito bom custo benefício localização conforto e café da manhã excelentes. Se vai a pé às principais atrações e restaurantes ótimos próximos. Prédio antigo remodelado, tem um lobby muito bonito com piano bar. É silencioso e muito espaçoso.

Our luggage was lost on the flight from split to Rome to Palermo and no one could help us. Francesca with her Italian energy chased airlines and local airport handlers tirelessly, insisting we relax and enjoy the city and coast. Bags were with us by the next day. amazing. 🤩

Grand hotel This a grand hotel; with all the amenities and class. It is a block from the madness of Palermo in a quiet square. Very safe as there is always police watching out. Breakfast is fantastic and the huge public space is great to have a glass of wine and relax.

Suitable This came recommended so we booked here. Location is 5 star. Easily walkable to many side street places. The bed was hard. The first day it came welcomed but more than 2 nights and you dread it. Hard. Rooms are very clean. Not issues and we had plenty of room. Someone mentioned the hair dryer. It was fine. They obviously didn’t know how to use it. The staff. Why are they angry? The morning team which is also the evening team, are surly and even got into an argument. I understand some Italian and they were def arguing. We ate out most of the time to avoid it. Even drinks at the bar. Just not welcoming. The hotel is beautiful but why they don’t pull back the roof covering at night I don’t know. Agree about the breakfast not being replenished. Many large groups so we can after 8:30 and it was limited. Totally not worth the extra money. Again- angry senior men. And the bell luggage guy. I heard him cursing while bringing our luggage. I told him we’d take one so he’d only have 2 but insisted. Only when I gave him a really good tip did he smile. Hotel caters more to a senior crowd. My husband and I are in our 60’s and we’re probably the youngest. Anyways it was an experience. Not horrible and we just avoided the staff and it was good.

Standard Tourist Class Hotel A standard tourist class hotel in a historic building but with no frills. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was of a good standard. Location is close to the historic centre of Palermo with all major attractions in walking distance.

Good location but could be so much better Good points - hotel is good location for touring the main sights on foot. The bedroom was roomy and clean. Bad points - not cheap and the price did not translate into good service. It is used by Gate One and Titan for large tour groups and so staff seem disinterested in providing any kind of service. There was no concierge at a desk in the lobby so the reception staff provide info in a surly rushed manner. Breakfast is poor - no teaspoons - dishes not restocked after big group - last am no smoked salmon restocked even though I asked - so just had a round of toast and fruit for breakfast. Coffee pot put on table with no lid - morning before hot water for tea served with no lid. This gives you an idea of lack of care by staff. Room cost 820 euro a night so expect more for this cost!!!
