A unique property with exceptional service in a great location... We selected the Chateau Monfort for a 2-night stay on a stopover back to the US after our summer vacation in Croatia. We wanted a 5-star experience without paying $1200+ a night, which was pretty much the base rate in Milan this time of year. We arrived very late from the airport after a delayed flight (with a hotels.com booking snafu thrown in for good measure). and I was too cranky to notice how absolutely beautiful the hotel's lobby and bar area were. I was similarly too cranky to notice how charming the room and oddly placed bathtub/shower were, and instead was like a dark cloud of bad vibes upon arrival. After a good night's sleep and an apology to my husband for my crappy attitude, I was able to appreciate every lovely and quirky detail of this absolute gem of a property. The bed is sexy and very comfy. Great sheets, mattress, and bedding. The tasty American breakfast was only 28 euro and could feed an army. We were in easy walking distance to the Duomo and a TON of great restaurants (we ate at 3 during the course of our visit, all great!). The bar was gorgeous, and the bartender who made my delicious Negroni took great pride in his service and his bar. In addition, the spa was GORGEOUS!! I am a spa devotee, and this was simply one of the most beautiful, tranquil facilities I have ever visited. You have to see it to understand my enthusiasm, just a downright beautiful space. My massage from Andrea (or Andres?) was first rate and just what I needed after travel delays and poor sleep quality while on a boat in the Adriatic for an extended period of time. We are coming back to Milan in November and would definitely stay here again. I would note that this hotel is not for everyone - we were in 111 (or 110? 101??) and could hear the streetcar humming all night (it did not bother us), and some of the spaces are tight. Also, as reviewers have noted, some people might have an issue with the bathroom setup. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this to people who want AMAZING service (above and beyond), great location, stunning spa facility, beautiful detail, and a little bit of quirk.

The best of Italy is the Hotel Chateau Monfort !! The Hotel Chateau Monfort is the very best hotel in Milan ! All the staff from Stephano GM , Walter,bell and desk staff, room service,food, Luigi the bartender, and of course our new friend Valeria who made everything perfect ! The spa and massage were amazing! Our corner suite was amazing !! I highly recommend this hotel !

A beautiful hotel for a relaxing and luxurious stay The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all kind, accommodating, and helpful. We arrived before our room was ready and were set up with espressos at the bar. We ate at the bar and restaurant multiple times. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. We also visited the beautiful and relaxing spa. The hotel's proximity to the M4 made getting around Milan a breeze. The only negative: the clear glass shower is open to the room, which makes for an awkward experience when not traveling with a spouse/partner.

Still talking about it… Marvelous Hotel. Vintage, yet chic. Perfect location with the metro just out front for ease of access to/from the airport and anywhere in town. The rooms were posh and perfectly sized. The gym facilities were excellent. The breakfast spread was divine. The staff and service were first-class from start to finish, making restaurant reservations at prime local osterias and arranging transfers wherever needed. This was our first stop and first time in Italy. Chateau Monfort set the bar high!

Hotel elegante e confortevole in posizione superba Abbiamo organizzato e tenuto una piccola conferenza ( 25 persone ) a Chateau Monfort e il team di conferenza e le strutture erano superbe. Maria e il suo team ci ha seguiti incredibilmente bene fornendo bellissimi pranzi a buffet e una superba cena portata. Le camere erano molto confortevoli ed eleganti e l'hotel si trova a soli 10 - 15 minuti a piedi dal centro di Milano. Consiglio vivamente questo bellissimo piccolo hotel sia in visita come turista o per un incontro di lavoro.

Wonderful hotel with equally wonderful staff Chateau Monfort is a beautiful hotel, both inside and out. The staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and everything was outstanding. Good location, close to the Duomo, shopping and restaurants.

Excellent staff and service From the doorman that comes to your ride and get your luggage, to the front staff/reception, to the staff that brings your luggages to the room, the breakfaststaff and the daily housekeeper, they all perform above and beyond our expectations. Every single day, they give excellent service no matter what time it is. They even assisted us with our ride to the airport. The vehicle is already waiting when we went down. Kudos to all of you. Great job!

The best hotel in Milan ! one the of best hotels I have ever stayed at and i have travelled the world , so highly recommend it for every aspect. the location is exactly where you need to be for shopping , restaurants and the magnificent church, which are all walking distance.

Stunning hotel! Wonderful hotel full of Italian charm! They made our stay so special and were paid such attention to detail. The breakfast setting was stunning. Highly recommend! The rooms were beautifully decorated and service was 💯 I will definitely return!
