Sicilia nel cuore Struttura raffinata in una zona comoda per raggiungere Mazara e le altre località del trapanese. Location estremamente tranquilla in mezzo ai vigneti. Piscina molto ampia con tanti lettini e bar sempre a disposizione. Ristorante di qualità e colazione completa di tutto con dolci ottimi! Spa nuova e trattamenti di diverso tipo. Camere spaziose con terrazzi o balconi con vista piscina o giardini molto grandi e curati. Il personale è sempre disponibile e sorridente. Un encomio alla reservation manager e al team di ricevimento. La loro cortesia è un valore aggiunto! Cosa dire di più? La Sicilia è sempre una certezza grazie a chi la abita e la rende unica, speciale. Arrivederci a presto!

Not worth it This hotel is not of 5 star quality. The breakfast is very poor and some of the staff - especially the management are extremely arrogant. The hotel isn’t focused on ensuring the best customer experience, rather just going through the motions of doing a job. The food at the restaurant at the pool is very poor and over priced. Will certainly not be returning

Beautiful hotel Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms and really professional staff. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. We loved our yoga classes, beautiful big swimming pool and... Staff were really helpful and ready to answer your questions. The only thing that I didn't like was the shower, it was a bit old and the mosaics changed their colours.

So you never know what you are going to get returning to the same hotel a year after an amazing week last year. Almar didnt disapoint. We were worried the service was put on last year after new ownership but we needn't have worried. It was amazing again. The personal interaction is first class, breakfast just couldnt ask for more and pool lovely place to spend the day. We ate in the Restaurant, out locally, room service and bar all great evenings and food brilliant. The Spa has now been completed and really is one of the loveliest places to chill out, alot of time, effort and money has been put in to ensure this was a focal point of the Hotel/Resort. Drive from the airport is essentially one road and very easy, car locally very useful to be honest and you can go visit local towns, historic sites and walks. For Alberto the Resort Manager to ensure he made some time to find us and speak with us was apprecaited too. Only criticism is the gym really needs some work, proper aircon and decent set of free weights!

Relaxing week with great service, lovely weather, chilled out Spa and amazing value all round. We returned after an amazing week in 2023 shortly after they opened/new management. Our thoughts on the unreal service were backed up when a very close friend booked completely independantly and by chance we both said what an amazing time we had had in Sicily. They like us are returning this year. The Spa has now been completed and is one of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. Its relaxing, lovely vibe and alot of time, effort and money invested. The personal service from all the staff is second to none and food great. Breakfast you genuinley just cannot ask for any more choice! Lunch we generally dont do anyway, dinner was mix of the main restaurant which is pricey but lovely to sit outside and fish is very fresh. We also had room service and sat on the terrace one night, bar food was great whilst watching the Euros and drive to local towns also very easy (hire car best way to get there from airport then use to get out an about). We partook in some of the organised events, wine tasting and night of music and dancing with a great buffet in their wedding venue. We needed a chilled out rest after a traumatic year and Alberto and his team came up trumps again. Would we go back? As ever depends on cost and if the hotel offers the same value as this year with the amazing food and service then we'd be mad not to!

Super welcoming and great hotel Luxury and mega high service hotel. Immediately upon receipt you feel welcome and pampered by the wonderful staff. Nice accompaniment to your room, beautifully spacious and fully equipped. The spa is really a gift, recently renovated and brand new. Very luxurious! Nice breakfast buffet and a spacious swimming pool with many sunbeds. Despite the size and capacity of this stay, it did not feel massive. Veronica and Manuel were particularly super friendly and have given us a nice time!

A great trip to Mazara We stayed for a week at the Almar, on the whole a really great trip. Pros: - service was for the most part really good, could be a little bit hit or miss when they were busy in the pool bar particularly and at breakfast. - the spa is amazing, stunning facilities and we had great massages. - the pool area was great, very comfortable, towels provided, never difficult to find a lounger. - there’s plenty to see and do in the nearby Mazara and other towns to take a trip out to and plenty of places to eat in Mazara. - the turn down service from the cleaning staff was exemplary Cons: - We felt the food and drinks were quite overpriced for what they were and the quality could have been improved for the prices they were asking for - as mentioned service could be a little bit hit or miss for example forgetting items we had asked for at breakfast or waiting for upwards of 20 minutes just to be given a menu in the pool bar - the private beach is quite small and seemed to be undergoing improvements when we visited which resulted in some construction noise. Great that they were improving it but we felt that they advertised the beach to have better facilities than they did. The hotel is around 20 minutes away from nearby Mazara by car and there is nothing else close by, so if you choose to stay here you really need to have a car. A taxi to Mazara and back for the evening for dinner cost €50, which we felt was likely them playing up the price as the hotel is the best in the area. We had a hire car which cost us €40 to fill up with fuel at the end of the week and we made great use of everyday.

Antonio did cater for my needs with my dietary requirements and Filipo had excellent services. Cons: The rest of the service was very hit or miss, inconsistent with the food and it did become boring since we were there for a week the menus were the same. The room we were in had mosquitos and we did get bitten and woke up in the middle of the night itching. Our bath was leaking which meant our bathroom floor was wet The language barrier was a big issue with ordering or just asking for basic help For a "5*" There was no over and beyond in terms of service I felt like the staff at the reception were rather rude, we needed help on our last day since we accidentally spilt water in my hubby's backpack, we needed tissues, reception staff wanted nothing to do with it like not even helping us. Very cold feeling. I also dealt with my first encounter of racism from other Italian tourists, so just be aware of this. I do not recommend.

As for mosquitoes, unfortunately, it is a problem that depends on the weather, if the rains have caused more moisture attracting mosquitoes, we have already activated the staff that takes care of the pest control to solve the problem as soon as possible. We are also very sorry for the inconvenience with the bathroom of the room, certainly knowing it before we could solve the problem immediately, however we inform you that the maintenance team is already working to understand what happened. We apologize for these inconveniences and will share your feedback with the whole team to prevent it from happening again. Charming hotel. Filippo stand out staff member. The hotel has a charming aspect, the rooms are spacious and the pool area a delight. Filippo was a stand out staff member who took the time to give us great ideas for local restaurants and wine tasting. We could not recommend him more highly. The spa is of a very high standard. We also enjoyed our massages, very professional. If we had one point for improvement it would be to vary the dinner menu, rather than the same each day.

Luxury, relaxation and great attention to guests I stayed with my wife for three nights from 16/06/2024 (Check-in) to 19/06/2024 (Check-out) in this beautiful Resort located just 8 Km from Mazara del Vallo. The particularly beautiful and well-kept structure, the quality and efficiency of the services, the great attention to customers thanks to the staff always ready to meet any customer need and / or request even in small things make it the perfect 5-star Resort to which you will surely want to return. I could also see the excellent preparation of the operators from the SPA. Our Junior Suite was very spacious and comfortable, with equally large bathroom, double sink, bathtub and separate shower and toilet rooms. Excellent restaurant with with typical dishes revisited in a current key excellently made and well presented. Breakfast with a wide choice of sweet and savoury dishes, drinks and juices provided by the bar and not by sterile dispensing machines with choice buttons. Only small note I feel like doing it at the private beach of the Resort that in my opinion should be more cared for to bring it into line with the level of the Resort (especially reclaim the parking littered with shards of bottle glass). Wonderful 5 star resort with top service! We spent 5 nights in this wonderful place. The rooms (garden view) are huge, the double bed very comfortable and the pillows wonderful. (It is not always the case in Italy). Unfortunately, we only had five hangers in the closet, but on request they immediately brought supplies. The bathroom is also very large and with a walk-in shower where you can even sit down as a bench is built into the wall. Toll! The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired! Fresh orange juice (order from the staff), omelette, fruit, cake, fresh bread, pastries... There's nothing there isn't. The spa area is completely new and really breathtakingly beautiful. Stylish saunas, steam bath, plunge pool, ice fountain, indoor pool etc etc. Nothing is missing. The hotel offers a daily sports class, such as yoga or Pilates. These can be booked for free. We visited the gym, which is unfortunately a little older. The appliances are top, but the room a bit "pansy", but is also to be renovated. The pool is large, very comfortable loungers and beautiful umbrellas. Pool bar where you can also sit in the water. Beautiful terrace where you can have an aperitif in the evening, served with all sorts of small snacks. We had booked half board where we were served dinner in the restaurant. The menu can be chosen from the restaurant menu, which is really excellent. With five evenings we also had no problem always finding something. If you book 14 days, it can be hard to get some variety. It is quite possible to express wishes that are certainly fulfilled. We had asked for spaghetti Vongole and our wish was fulfilled immediately. All in all, we can say: This place is really top! Staff unreservedly friendly and always helpful. The complete complex is super well maintained, beautiful and quiet. With the rental car it is worth a trip to Mazara. Otherwise, there's not much nearby. The hotel is rather lonely. We would particularly like to highlight Salvatore from the restaurant team, who gave us a lot of joy with his cheerful nature. Grazie!

This is the best hotel in sicily!! The rooms and pools are lovely, and the enormous spa is a hidden gem. Everyone who works here is helpful and kind. It is very close to both Mazara and Marsala

E' un vero angolo di paradiso terrestre. La struttura è achitettonicamente molto bella, perfettamente integrata nella natura attorno, appena fuori dal centro storico di Mazara del Vallo, circondata fuori le mura da vigneti e ulivi, e dentro le mura da un grande giardino mediterraneo pieno di fiori, piante lussureggianti, splendide fontane, colori intensi e profumi. La grande zona piscina, circondata da ogni confort, con bar e ristorante dove pranzare, fa da quinta allo splendido scenario del giardino interno che ci si trova davanti affacciandosi dall'ampio terrazzo del lounge bar "il Turchinu" della hall. Ma non è mica finita! Perché poi c'è la nuovissima, elegantissima e bellissima SPA, con una grande piscina coperta riscaldata, la moderna palestra, le colazioni ricchissime di primizie del territorio, il ristorante Aqua Madre dove si entra per cenare e ci si trova a fare una esperienza sensoriale che emoziona ad ogni piatto. Questo è veramente il posto giusto dove dimenticare ogni negatività della vita quotidiana, dove immergersi nel totale relax, coccolati dalla bellezza del luogo e dal personale che in ogni occasione è sempre gentile, sorridente e premuroso. Sono dei grandi professionisti che sanno esattamente come metterti a tuo agio. Vorrei ancora ringraziare tutti loro, e sono tanti, che hanno contribuito a rendere splendida la nostra vacanza siciliana. Vi ricordiamo davvero con un grande affetto. Grazie. A chi leggerà questa recensione voglio anche ricordare che se avrete la fortuna come noi abbiamo avuto di rimanere per più di qualche notte, avrete attorno a voi a vostra disposizione la bellezza della Sicilia Occidentale che offre infinite opportunità di escursioni nella natura, visite a templi millenari, a città e borghi ricchi di Storia e di storie, arte, profumi e sapori, e una costa splendidamente nervosa, piena di piccole baie e spiaggette che si affacciano su un mare incredibile.
