Since two years I had been trying for abroad studies. I had lost my hopes one year before due to my lower scores. I have completed a PG Diploma in Applied Neuropsychology at the University of Bristol, UK. The idea that I could study abroad would have remained only a thought if it had not been for Mrunali of Vision International. I had been on a long career break with many years off, to bring up my kids. I wanted to rejoin work as a psychologist but felt that I needed to update my skills. As I looked around I discovered that there was an opportunity for me to study at University of Bristol, which had a fantastic programme in Applied Neuropsychology. I had written to them about my eligibility but had received no response for a month. That's when I had a long conversation with Mrunali and she advised me to just go ahead and apply with all my documents. She was available to answer all questions, gave me very relevant feedback about my essays and supported me through this whole process.Thanks to my conversations with her, I was able to apply and present myself in the right way during the application process. If it wasn’t for her, I would have assumed that I was not eligible and probably wouldn't have pursued them further. She gave me great advice and confidence that it would be possible for me to study abroad even after a break.
