I decided to sign up for a membership while on vacation in BC, and I am so glad I did! Thank you to all of the instructors for their skill, knowledge, and encouragement. Because of you all, I have fallen in love with barre and feel the strongest I have felt in a really long time! I have injured my ankles a couple of times and for that reason they were frequently rolling under me whenever I would walk, even while on even ground. That has not happened once since I started attending these classes! Not only have these classes helped me physically, they have also worked wonders mentally. I feel so out of sorts when I miss a class! I am heartbroken that the studio is closing, but I know that wonderful things await everyone working here and they will sprinkle their magic wherever they go. Everyone here, from the instructors to the front desk associate were so lovely, kind, and genuinely cared. Will miss this community so much!

I've tried this studio recently and really look forward to going to the classes! All of the instructors are absolutely wonderful and offer modifications when needed. I personally found it tough to find an exercise class other than prenatal yoga or aquafit to try... but this studio has been wonderfully "prenatal friendly" with the help of inclusive instructors!

I recently signed up for the new member membership and now a monthly membership because I loved it so much. The classes are amazing, best workout I have found. The instructors are all great! The studio is so cute and so clean! I really enjoy going in! Everyone is so welcoming and a judgement free zone!!

I have been to this Barre practice studio for a month and I really enjoy every classes I participate. The studio is clean and spacious. The owner Nicole and the instructors are all very pleasant and welcoming. The classes are fun and challenging which fits in my needs. And there are ample free parking spaces underground and you will never needs to worry about where to park. If you live nearby and wants to find a decent studio for regular workouts, Poise fit barre might be your ideal spot.

Nicole the owner is super kind and friendly! All the instructors I’ve tried have been very nice and welcoming even though I’m new to barre. The space is very clean and organized. There’s also showers, towels, a water station, and lockers. Grip socks for purchase if you don’t have any. :) All you need is your water bottle and yourself!

I have been attending Port Moody Barre for 2 years now and I love it here! Each class works your entire body and the instructors always make it fun! They encourage you to push yourself just a little more every time. Always a great workout :)

The parking situation is not the best and if you are even slightly late they don’t call they just lock the doors. Took me a good 5 mins just to find parking

Thank you for your feedback, we do appreciate it. Parking can be difficult on the street at certain times of the day. The building does have an underground parkade that offers free customer parking, and can be accessed from Grant St.
I can appreciate the frustration to arrive and find the doors are locked. As per our policy, we do lock the doors once class has begun so we can ensure a safe environment for our clients when they are working out and our staff for when they are leading a class. We do encourage all clients, especially if you have not attended before, to arrive at least 10 minutes before class time to have time to get ready for class.
