I had a face and neck lift and liposuction of my stubborn abdomen and love handles 4 months ago, and I am very happy with the result. Although it will take a full year for my final result, I already see a noticeable difference. Everyone has commented on how natural my face and neck lift looks. I also finally got rid of my fat which I could never lose, despite dieting and exercise. Dr. Hakeem, the office manager Laurie, and the entire staff were accommodating and professional.
Such a bad experience, I was robbed for a lot of money, they sent my wife to the hospital multiple times for medical malpractice, before you pay, they happily greet you, once you want your money back they are awful, nothing but use less people work here, I would sooo stay away from here
I was referred by my Dr for health not cosmetic to get help with a mass, I was treated cold and basically I didn’t matter, my mass was never looked at, I was basically stood while the Dr sat in a room n did absolutely nothing, I am completely defeated n no one should ever be treated this way, then I was sent to a room with a women who basically was cold n uncaring n told me I can apply for some credit ( made zero sense since this is medical by my Dr, well after driving over an hour and going in a building that looked like it was just put up with rooms with beds n no others there I was completely uncomfortable, I left with absolutely no help no hope, this is very sad I wouldn’t wish this treatment on anyone with my insurance approving it, I don’t lie I don’t rarely ask for help yet kick me farther down I say, I’m not exaggerating I’m honest n I’d never treat anyone this way n this treatment can have people give up but they seemed cold n zero questions answered n what Dr doesn’t look at the problem I say? well I’m far from done on making sure no one endures this treatment or is treated in humane
I had my BL/BA back in 2021 in Dr Hakeem's Rancho Cucamonga office, which is now closed. There's a reason it's closed, it's a horrible place to get surgery. I never met with him until the DAY of surgery. His PA would meet with me every time even for post op's. I wasn't guided at all with sizing, nor was my BWD ever taken into consideration when choosing a size, she basically said "try on this bra and choose a size" I had no idea what I was doing and she wouldn't let me show any pictures of my goals cause I was rudely told, "it didn't matter, I'd never look like that". I am only 4'11" and 120 pounds and I chose a 550cc implant not knowing what I was getting into, I specifically told him the day of surgery I was nervous going to big and I didn't wanna be top heavy he immediately said "well if you don't know what size you want we're not doing the surgery". All I wanted was guidance and reassurance but he was just rude. My implants are HUGE and high on my chest and my natural breast that he "lifted" are saggy as hell. A year post op I told him my concern and he gaslighted me by saying they look amazing.
Fast forward to today, I've had several consultations for a full revision in which I've been told several times that the large implants in my tiny body have now caused symmastia to occur. My BWD is only at 11.5 and Dr Hakeem didn't even bother checking and put a 550cc filled to 650cc which should only be place for anyone with a 13-14 BWD. Now I have to pay $16,000 on top of the $8000 I paid to this place to ruin me, to repair the symmastia, remove and replace the implants and properly lift my breasts since such a poor job was initially done. Please PLEASE do your research before going to this place. They don't care, they just want you in and out.

1.) The ten year lease for the Rancho location came to its maturation, and I elected not to renew the lease. I have my main office in Huntington Beach, and you are more than welcome to schedule an appointment and discuss your concerns.
I always size breast implants patients using the sizers in the office, like I did for yours, and you chose your size. If the chosen size seems to be achievable, I would then proceed with surgery, as I did for you. I even gave you the option to reschedule your surgery to another day, if you felt uncomfortable with your chosen size. The responsibility is entirely on you for (1) the size as well as (2) proceeding with surgery that day. Having said that, I would be more than happy to meet with you and discuss your options.
You have posted so many times on Yelp (4 or 5 times) so far for what purpose? If you are serious about fixing a problem, then make an appointment to meet….

A long overdue review. This September I will be 3 years post op from BA/BL. 5'2 120lbs 430/450 saline implants. Recovery was hard. Dealing with minor cc, taking medication and a lot of patience. Once I hit a year PO I finally fell in love with them. I get so many compliments on how they look natural, fit my body and feel like natural breast. No rippling, no sagging so far. Which was exactly what I wanted. So no complaints there. The only issue I have with this office is I myself and I'm sure a lot of ppl who had their surgeries there, would love to see Dr. Hakeem more before and after surgery. It's nothing more comforting to have the doctor who will do you procedure sit down and listen to concerns or answer your questions. I seen him once the day of my surgery and once after surgery because the staff was low on nurses. Although his assistant is amazing(forgive me I forgot her name) but shout out to her. She was there every phone call of concern I had, if I had a scare and came into the office, I even cried to her during recovery lol. But she was amazing. So in the future I hope they would consider bringing out the doctor more. The only complaint I have, other than that surgery went well, and I'm loving the breasts. Definitely a boost of confidence

Update: I just want to mention a thing regarding the reply of the Dr. he said I had breast cyst prior to surgery and I just want to clarify I NEVER HAD ANY BREAST CYST PRIOR TO MY SURGERY. I breast fed 3 times and always had healthy breast with NO CYST or lumps. As a result of breastfeeding I 3 times for a year or more I developed really saggy breast. But I just want to CLARIFY I never SAW A DR by any means for problems relating to my breast or any breast disease so for the Dr to comment on my yelp review stating that my lump was their prior to my surgery is a complete LIE! I never once discussed with him any issues relating to a cyst or lumps on my breast prior to surgery so for him to mention that on my review proves my point of what kind of person you will be dealing with as a Dr. And yes my BBL surgery was so bad that I went back and told them about how unhappy my results were and they offered a discounted price towards any other procedure. I did not want do a second BBL since the first one was horrendous (hence why I DID NOT GET ANOTHER BBL BY DR HAKEEM) so I went in for a breast lift and implants instead to take advantage of the discount price. I got them both a LIFT and IMPLANTS for 7 thousand dollars only!!! Shortly after I went back for my post up and showed them how one is lifted way higher than the other and pointed out how saggy they are and also pointed out my saggy skin. They prescribed medication for 6 months that did no difference! I have not went back to them regarding that issue because within that time frame I developed the lumps on the incision of my scars and a big lump that developed due to inflammation as the biopsy results stated! Because of the implants!!! Yes it was my fault that I went back to him after the first time I got my unpleasant results for my first BBL but I guess I did not want to loose that discount for getting a Breast implant and a breast lift for only 7 thousand dollars. You can't find that price anywhere in the US. Joke was on me.

Everything was explained to you throughly (verbally and in writing) prior to surgery and after surgery. All the consent forms that you signed prior to surgery, and your photos (prior and after surgery) are available to you to review and see for yourself that not only your hips got bigger, but so did your buttocks from the first fat transfer procedure. If you were not so happy, you would not have come back for another procedure, your breast implants and lift. Once again, everything was explained to you thoroughly verbally and in writing, and you signed all the consent forms to proceed with surgery knowing that you can develop capsular contracture that can change the shape and knowing that whatever is meant to happen to your breast would happen whether you have implants or not, including issues related to your breasts cysts. Your breast issues are not related to your implant surgery. and the fact that your primary doctor referred you to a breast surgeon proves my point. Breast surgeons treat breasts cysts and breast cancer, and other breast conditions. You had those cysts prior to your breast augmentation surgery. In addition, Your cysts got inflamed 6 months after your surgery so you can’t blame it on the surgery.
I hope you understand your condition better now and focus on getting the right treatment, but please don’t blame me for it….You can call the office to make an appointment to discuss this further if you like, or to get a copy of your medical chart and photos….

I got my BA/lift done by Dr. Hakeem. I regret going to him. He seemed rushed when it came to the morning of surgery. He only saw me the day of surgery, but not before or after. Something is poking out of my boob now and one breast hurts. I lay down and I dislike how they look like... Never again...
Dr Hu performed my TT in 2019. I was throwing up after surgery and he sent me home with anti-nasea PILLS and pain PILLs. Needless to say, I was throwing up all night, ripped open my muscle repair (waste of $14,000) and ended up in the ER where they gave me fluids because I was so dehydrated. Also the girl that saw me after for a check up, ripped a bandage off that was sticking and ripped a chunk of my flesh resulting in a scar. She did the same thing after a breast lift. I honestly believe I would have gotten better treatment and results if I went to mexico
Let me just start off by saying Dr. Hakeem and his office are amazing. I've gone to him for three procedures and every time it's been great. Before finding Dr. Hakeem, many offices treat you like a chop shop in which sometimes you don't even get to see the doctor but this is not the case at all. Dr. Hakeem is honest and provides you with realistic outcomes and doesn't make promises that are unrealistic. In fact, he will tell you what he can and can't do based on your anatomy. He is not the type of doctor who is just trying to seal the deal, this is opposite of his work ethic. The patient and their safety always comes first. He will also be realistic and telling you what you should or shouldn't do together if you're considering multiple areas. He takes into account recovery and how you will need your body after. The staff is on top of it and always available as needed for questions. They are all so sweet and kind ensuring you that all will be okay. The day of surgery is always nerve wrecking and the nurse was so sweet calming me and acknowledging what I was feeling was normal. She explained everything as we got ready for surgery and then Dr. Hakeem came in and sat there explaining what his plan is. Mind you this is a doctor who goes in with plan a, b, and c as you never know what to expect once you're in there. Just hearing him you know you're in great hands and see the passion in his work. Since my first initial time meeting him in 2018, the passion for his work is still very present. He has miracle hands. If you're on the fence or feeling anxious, you will be in good hands here. I've referred various friends and family to Hakeem and they have all been pleased with their results.
Dr Hu performed surgery on my on June 17th. 3 days post op I was scheduled with him, instead his assistant Vanessa saw me. I complained that I was not feeling right and that I had 0 energy and she told me I was going to be and proceeded to stuff me in a Faja and sent me on my way. For 2 weeks I was complaining of high fever up to103.0 and speaking with him personally and his staff, they would advise that I will be just fine. I asked Dr Hu several times if I need to go to emergency which he told me no, that I was going to be fine and that is normal. Fast forward a few weeks I was rushed to hospital by my good friend that told me I looked like death. When I got to the hospital I was Septis and lost alot of blood which I had to get a transfusion because my blood level was at 4, normal is 15. I find out I had a terrible infection that went to my bloodstream, Had I not gone to the emergency I would have died. I had to get a second surgery where his partner came and drained from the exact places I was complaining about the whole time. I would post pictures but I dont want to be traumatized again. Now 7 months later I need physical therapy do to the sores caused by the second surgery, Pain is still there, I can feel it in my bones. Had he took care of me when I first started complaining about the pain and fevers I would not have gotten the second surgery nor had an infection spread through my blood stream. He did not put drains in me when I was done. I was under for around 6 hours which now I dont feel that is healthy. Use your discernment and be careful. Just because they are board certified doesnt mean anything.
I was really excited and looking forward to getting a procedure done with the facility. Unfortunately, when I received my quote for a tummy tuck it was very high. After doing some research I noticed that I was quoted a price that was too high for just that procedure.
Note: 14,000 for just a tummy tuck and does not include pre op blood work etc.
I enjoyed my experience with during my initial consultation, the PA was great and she answered all my questions.
*Based on Consultation Experience* I'm sad to say I'm leaving 1 star! The patient consultant Alma was so sweet. But the experience was not. I couldn't even get through the quote! I went to the consultation, Alma suggested Dr Hu was great to see him so I wouldn't wait so long for a surgery date. Well! It's been a year and even after a zoom consultation I still haven't got my quote! I probably would of had surgery already.
I called in August of 2020 they gave me an appointment of November 2,2020. I left with a follow up appointment with Alma aware my pricing would be honored before they went up,due to my appointment date. I FaceTime with Dr.Hu in December 2020 and that's it I never heard back Alma or a rep... I Instagram messaged I emailed and nothing. It's now July 29,2020...So I guess maybe if your not insta-famous the Dr is not interested? I don't know but I was ready to see Dr. also be aware the consuls with the PA not the Dr. I was told it's the same thing... you will be in the office at least 3 hours, and the PA speaks fast and is passive aggressive as she draws out the procedures... with they I was still willing to get a procedure however, it wasn't meant to be.

I had my surgery here now going on 2 weeks, I had great references but there follow up is horrible, I had great expectation and was so dissatisfied with their level of customer service, sadly I will not recommend.
Anybody looking into plastics this is the place to go! I got Consults with both Doctors because they are both amazing but I ended up going with Dr.Hakeem I am so so happy with my results! He has the magic hands 🙌 Staff is Amazing.. during my surgery they made me sure I was comfortable! I will definitely be a returning patient🎉 also if I have any questions they are pretty good about getting back to me and quick appts, P.A is amazing aswell overall VERY HAPPY💙
So I came in for a consultation and the office staff is super caddy!! I really want to have a breast argumentation done here but the girls in the office are terrible!!! I hear the doctor is amazing but his staff needs coaching on customer service!!
