Waste of money and time
Our experience with Piacademy was very disappointing. The content is repetitive, not challenging, and didn’t help our child improve. To make things worse, the founder was rude and showed no respect toward parents.
It felt like a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t even give it one star. There are much better options out there."
PiAcademy papers have been brilliant.It is very reassuring to have topic based tests/practice papers that my child can work through in a timed environment. As a working parent, I struggle to teach at home and so the papers are a life saver as she can work through them on her own and also with detailed stepwise answer explanations has helped with understanding and correcting her mistakes. It has extensive questions covering all areas and very relevant content. A great resource for 11+ journey. Shows you exactly where to develop further with your child. Would definitely recommend. The customer support team are very helpful and responsive.
Pi academy has been a very reliable and enriching platform for my children to learn from. It is easy to use, and it gives excellent explanations to answers. It also helps in simulating timed exams to further prepare children in a thorough and enjoyable way. You are able to focus on particular topics, based on your child’s strengths and weaknesses.
PiAcademy 11 Plus resource are very helpful. It was recommended to me by my friend who's daughter has got the first choice of grammar school in west London. The test paper resource has answers which is very helpful for parents to help correct their kids work. I would recommend.
The papers and answers are excellent and really useful tools for 13+ exams.

I have been using Pi Academy's website since my son was in year 3. I always took their 11+ group courses, and my son showed massive progress. I truly think the course content, particularly the homeworks with answers, are one of a kind. Thanks to this my son got offers from our first choice schools, QE and HABs. I couldn't recommend PiAcademy more for their courses, mocks and practice papers!
As a parent, if you are preparing for the 11+ exams with your child then the PiAcademy site is a must-have in your 11+ toolbox. we have subscribed to the past papers on pi academy which saved us a lot of time in marking the papers and the answers are explained in detailed steps. They have a planner which I am following to practice the hard level papers with my child. We are aiming for the QE Boys this year hoping for the best. It is worth every penny to get the papers with answers so that we can teach our child without depending on any private tutor. I highly recommend pi academy site 🤞
If you want to buy papers to download with pdf answers to save onto your own memory key or computer - don't bother.
I have purchased many resources and I have NEVER paid money to a business that forces me to go onto their website to access the answers any time that I might need them. ALL bought resources should be in PDF format. Why make it so awkward and difficult for your customers? I was going to invest heavily after a trial bundle. I certainly won't bother now. I'll hand my money over to a business who isn't out to add stress.

Very poor, clunky. I do wonder if many of the reviews are fake. Don't waste you money - go for Atom it is sp much better. Wish I hadn't bothered and could be refunded as I haven't actually used the platform. Awful.

We tried PiAcademy for Creative writing and found it quite basic. The teaching style lacks constructive feedback and motive. Students were asked to submit weekly homeworks that never got marked or discussed in class. Zero useful communication and a lot of ads spam emails!!
The reply the school has let is totally out of context and made up. I leave reviews very rarely and only when I feel that it is my moral responsibility to warn others about scammers like this one. I am certain that none of the teachers are qualified or have anything to do with the education system.

I was extremely disappointed with your review and mention our course as quite basic. In fact, this is our best course with excellent reviews from the parents. Once the class is finished, we provide lecture notes, set up homework along with a detailed mark scheme and a checklist for parents to guide their children to score the highest marks in the 11+ Exam.
The course difficulty level is meant for 11+ exams, it is not meant for adults and surely this is not a basic course. My English tutors follow the exact syllabus to structure this course covering all styles of writing. For example: 1) Descriptive Writing — Starting & Ending a story on a given line, Diary entry, Picture Stimulus 2) Persuasive writings — Balance Argument, Letter of complaint 3) Narrative, Science Fiction Stories 4) Expository — Writing a set of instructions. Each lesson is very well planned, and my tutors always discuss the homework, giving feedback in the first 10 minutes of the class.
Many times your child joined the class late, and my support team sent you reminder messages multiple times to join the course. Your child missed the feedback which takes place at the beginning of the lesson. Our creative writing course is highly recommended by our parents, and we do not consider your review as we sent you a detailed feedback report about your child's homework.
I have also noticed you gave only bad reviews to many of the other businesses. I take the reviews very seriously to improve the service if the feedback is genuine.
It was a good decision to attend the piacademy classes and helped develop my son's ability to pass the 11+ entrance exams. As parents, we are impressed with the educational content, ongoing assessments, competitive environment, well-developed online portal, helpful teachers, and customer service. PiAcademy is a great way to increase your confidence in learning. Hand-written answers for students who don't understand the answer are included in its contents.
