I retained Amanda Schuchhardt aka Phoong law: about three and a half months ago and trusted her firm with a very serious, high-stakes case. this was a sexual assault and trafficking case..
I provided full documentation, evidence, and details from the start. During that time, their office even contacted the opposing party and indicated legal action was coming. Then, after nearly four months of my time and emotional investment, I was abruptly told they would not proceed due to “workload.”
This was not a minor matter. This involved a $25 million demand and extremely sensitive circumstances. In my opinion, a firm should never accept representation in a case of this magnitude unless they are prepared to see it through. Instead, I was left to start over from scratch after months had already passed. That delay is not just inconvenient. It can seriously affect a case and the client’s mental well-being.
From my perspective, it felt like they were willing to step in when things looked straightforward, but backed out when it became more complex. Whether intentional or not, the result was the same: I was left stranded mid-process with no support after they had already engaged the other side on my behalf.
Professionalism means commitment, transparency, and follow-through, especially when a client is relying on you during one of the most difficult periods of their life. I did not experience that here.
I strongly recommend that anyone seeking legal representation carefully consider other firms with a proven record of consistency, capacity, and client advocacy. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this one! RUN!
