Value for money

Even though the workshop is well located and with good space and equipments, the working staff have become too entrenched and have cultivated the typical mentality of not budging from their view point / my way or Highway attitude. I had given my vehicle for normal paid service and the friendly manager had conveyed that the vehicle wash can be done later since water supply was not there that day. I took the vehicle for vehicle wash today after 2 weeks of service and after confirming with the floor manager. The staff was initially quite polite and forthcoming and showed me the body polish they will use .. recommending it over what I had in the vehicle. The moment I went out for a cup of tea and came back ..They said the car is done whereas it was not properly washed(which I realised after getting back home) and I had requested them to just put a layer of body wax at a place where there was a slight scratch so that it could prevent further rusting. Even for such a small request..the staff (one guy who did the wash) was rude and over ruled the manager..who was eager to help. In hindsight ...I realised that may be because I had already paid for the service before and no exchange of money was going to take place today, which the staff might've come to know only later.... there was a sudden change in attitude, workmanship and body language. A word of advice to the owners...from a sincere customer. Please change your workshop staff..who seem to think they are God's own and even seemed to have more say than the Floor Manager (Or he is not forceful / not exercising enough control). Poor work ethics and high headed staff will ruin this well located and equipped place. Had they done the work properly.... they would've earned a customer for life but their attitude has ensured that I take time off from my busy schedule and make the public aware of the staff behaviour by writing this post. The staffs are qualified on all makes and models, the place itself is very professional and very good customer service. The manager Mr. Arun and his team is very professional and polite. The manager needs a good increment and promotion as country or territory manager.
