Admissions was the best part of the process. The residential facility is full of flies. The staff is dismissive, untrained and unprofessional. The program is between 28-30 days so the staff says issues are being worked on however the same issues persist. Some clients/patients have been multiple times proving that the counseling/therapy is sub-par. Several times the food was raw. If you have an option do not choose this for yourself or your loved one.
I was at Peachtree Wellness Solutions for a week in residential before leaving AMA, and my experience was very disappointing.
No real therapy â I never even had a proper therapy session during my entire stay. The only contact I had with âmy therapistâ was a less than 10-minute phone call to my mom while she was in the room. For a place that markets itself as offering intensive residential treatment, this was completely unacceptable.
Food was unsafe and poorly handled â They claimed they could accommodate my vegan diet, but on the first day I was given nothing but a freezer-burnt frozen meal. A few days later I was actually served moldy food and ate half of it before realizing. When I raised the issue, instead of taking accountability, they tried to gaslight me. The director even said I was blaming the techs, but I made it clear I was holding Peachtree Wellness Solutions responsible since they contract with the catering company. Still, they refused to accept responsibility.
Unhelpful, elementary groups â The groups were surface-level and offered little therapeutic value. At one point, a therapist told the group that if you tell yourself youâre depressed, youâll be depressedâbecause one time he âmanifestedâ the flu by saying he had it. This is insulting and dismissive to people struggling with real mental health conditions.
Staff were unprofessional and demeaning â The majority of the techs were mean, condescending, and treated patients like they were inmates rather than people seeking care. Many of them seemed on a power trip. In particular, Dre was by far the most condescending and rude staff member I encountered.
Overall, I did not feel safe, respected, or supported here. Between the lack of actual therapy, unsafe food, unhelpful groups, and hostile staff, I would not recommend Peachtree Wellness Solutions to anyone truly seeking help. Also the pictures are not up to date and do not reflect the house they have you stay in. There are helpful residentials out there, PWS is not one of them.

This was my first time seeking treatment. Dan had me list all my traumas, said we would start brain spotting therapy the following week and we never did. food was bad at times, they served us cold hard bread with a burnt piece of bacon on it. yes, nothing else but that. staff was very rude at times, Aaron wouldnât give me a clean towel and said he wanted to help people with âactual problems.â A lot of the staff is ex addicts who havenât even been clean for that long. Group therapy was weak, pretty much for simpletons whoâve never even heard of a âcoping mechanism.â Their minds were blown over the take a breath and walk away. Absolutely no therapy dog either. If you didnât want to attend a group session, you got your phone call taken away like itâs a privilege for a 5 year old. Also sickness plagued my whole house group and they let a girl turn blue while they all chatted&laughed in the hallway. Filed a complaint, again to Dan, and nothing was done. Overall 2 stars, not 0 because of miss Joy and the time we got Moes.

Pws changed my life, I have been to other treatment facilities and wasnât treated like a human, just another number. The staff is incredible, I felt like part of the family by the end of my stay. I learned a lot about myself, I struggle with addiction and depression/anxiety. While staying at other addiction centers, I learned everything about addiction but something was missing in the puzzle and I feel like I have finally found it. I wish I could thank each staff member individually because each touch my life in different ways. You really do get what you put into it. Thank you Peachtree wellness solutions, hopefully will never be back ( mean that in the most endearing way) but if I do ever need help again this is where Iâll be going.

PREDATORY COMPANY
I came here to get a diagnosis for mental health, to get proper medication, and to learn some emotional regulation tools. I was told over the phone that I would have to only pay $2500 and that it was a 28 day voluntary program. I was told if psychiatrist and therapist say you are ready there is a possibility for early discharge. I was told by every therapist, psychiatrist, all the nurses, and almost every staff member that I had made a lot of progress from when I first came in and was good to go. By day 18 I was ready to get back to my normal life. They REFUSED to discharge me and force me to leave AMA. However, I had 2 roommates during my stay and 1 was discharged officially after 19 days and the other officially discharged after 21. When I brought this to their attention and asked about it they literally had no answer for me. The guy I was told that would do my discharge meeting is Cameron Smith. He is the biggest snake of them all. He got in my personal space and told me âI can guarantee you wonât be discharged tomorrowâ so from the directors silence on as to why other people were properly discharged before 28 days and not me and Cameronâs commentâ I got my answer. Not only this but Cameron tried to scare tactic me with money and weaponized my mental health against me in our meeting. The case manager in the room with us is Jamiah. She is also a lying manipulator as well. She mentioned to me that leaving the 16th of May or the 19th of May was a possibility for me. Then denied she even said that to me in the first place. Cameron lied to me and told me my therapist was in charge of my discharge dateâ that is completely false. He will push after care on you like it is required. It absolutely is not. He told me I needed after care because there is only a 60% success rate and Iâd probably be back. Literally the only good thing were the nurses, clients, and therapists Mackenzie and Dan. They are incredible and helped me a lot. When I first called this place to admit I was told they took Cigna for insurance. THEY LIED TO ME. I called my insurance and they told me this company is a predatory company that lies to people in order to get them to come. A PREDATORY COMPANY. They will lie and manipulate people at every turn. Other clients there told me they told them if they left early they would be put on a psychiatric lockdown in the hospital. THAT IS NOT TRUE. I plan to go to the Joint Commissioners and DBHDD about this place and the disgusting moves the tried to pull. They also told me it would hurt my job if I left because they knew how much it meant to me. ASLO NOT TRUE. Please be careful with this place. There was good but A LOT OF BAD. They screwed me over with all of their lies. Cameron has blonde short hair. He always brings in donuts. BEWARE OF HIM. He is a snake. I told them every fact I knew and they still had ZERO answers for me. Other than Cameron could guarantee he would t discharge me. They only want money. And Cameron threatened me owning him 10,000. Other people got discharged officially except me and itâs just because Cameron said so. Even when I had every other approval needed. Please be careful here. You do not get pet therapy like advertised. You do not get to see your therapist every day. The house shown on the website isnât even the same house. Cameron told me their licensed psychiatrists were incorrect. He is not a psychiatrist. He used every manipulation card in the book and scare tactics in trying to get me to stay their the full 28 days. The house techs are sneaky as well. Not all of them but Madeline spreads misinformation and also some truths about other people being discharged early. Everette tried to tell me it would effect my job. Shella is the director. She literally was speechless when I told her all of this and speechless when I asked why others get discharged and I donât.
Do not let these people lie to you. Because they absolutely will. Know your insurance and TALK TO THEM FIRST before you talk to these people. My adjuster LITERALLY told me this company is predatory. Please be careful.
