We have taken our Coton Fred here. Fred is a small dog, 12 lbs. and we do worry about him when we board him. Fred came back to us very much himself and not stressed out in the least. We have had a fantastic experience. I really feel like we are leaving Fred with family. It does make me feel at ease with the way he is cared for. I highly recommend.

I had never left my kitty for 3 weeks and was nervous! But this team of caregivers were just wonderful. Every single day I got a report and pictures. I didn't have to worry at all because I knew she was in very good hands! I travel frequently and will not use any other service. Hands down, the best!

Peace of Mind Pets RVA is aptly named. Whenever we've used them, we've never had to worry about them taking care of our pets. They provide detailed reports (complete with pictures), and are always very thorough. They almost always go above and beyond what we ask them to do, and all at a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend them enough!

We love Cyndi and the Care she gives our dog. Pearl loves having space to run. Cyndi treats your pet like family. She is flexible on pick up and drop offs which helps when plane or other travel is unpredictable. Pearl is a rescue that can be nervous about things and she is never scared or hesitant to go to peace of mind pets!

Cyndi Richard’s was so helpful from the moment I reached out to her. I had to leave town for a family emergency on very short notice. She arranged a meet and greet the same day. She worked to very efficiently capture all the information on my pet and our needs. Then, most importantly, followed through to ensure our Rosie received excellent care….and we received lots of reassuring photos which was a plus! Our short trip was extended to over two weeks and had a few twists and turns. Cyndi accommodated us every step of the way. I am not sure I would have made it through the last several weeks without her. I will say - she gave me complete piece of mind at a very stressful time for our family - and our pets! I would highly recommend Peace of Mind Pets RVA to anyone needing pet care services.

Both the owner and my sitter were easy to communicate with. I was uneasy leaving my nervous dog with someone new but she was gentle, soft spoken to my shy baby and connected with me in a timely manner sending photos and comments. I would just like to say THANK YOU. Our other boarding place canceled at the last minute. We called literally the day before and she said YES. We are so grateful and thankful. Jasper had an amazing time and made some new friends. I loved the pictures and the updates. Hearing that Jasper was such a good boy made me sooooo proud. I can’t say enough good things about Peace of Mind Pet sitting. A few months ago my husband was in a bad accident and I called to make arrangements to have them take care of my dog. Within an hour she came and picked up my dog and everyday she sent me photos and reported to me how the dog was doing. I felt so good knowing she wasn’t in a crate and she was getting the same care I would have provided. In the end we had some other personal issues and they came to my rescue again. All I can say is you won’t get a better more loving and caring place to board your pet. Peace of Mind surly is the right name for this company

I called Cyndi on very short notice a few days before Thanksgiving to see if she could take our puppy for that day. Despite being full, Cyndi made an exception and gladly accepted Molly for the day. Cyndi sent us pictures of Molly enjoying herself with other furry friends.We picked up Molly later that day and we could tell Molly definitely had a fun filled experience. We plan to use Peace of Mind Pets RVA in the near future.

My cat and I had the most wonderful time at Peace of Mind Pets. They made sure that not only was my cat but that I was comfortable and safe! There was a litter box, food, and all the toys for her to play with. She/We settled right in on our quick stay. Would highly recommend and would go back if the opportunity should arise again!

Cyndi and Chris have made a second home for our dogs whenever we need them and love them like their own. They are very experienced and have a second sense for what the pets need without them being able to verbalize it! They have a beautiful environment for the pets to play in too, with not one but two large fenced in yards. They even observe things that I might've missed or take care of things I hate doing, like trimming nails! Highly recommend!
