Charged me 55 dollars just not properly diagnosed my computer. They said they’re not sure what’s wrong but were willing to charge me for parts to fix it when they’re not 100% sure what’s even wrong with my pc. Waste of my time and money!!!

Michael, I am sorry that you felt like we didn't properly diagnose your computer. We did our standard tests to check the memory, power supply, hard drive, check temperatures of the CPU and more. We did almost everything short of fully testing the CPU/motherboard because we didn't have the exact parts to replace/test and the computer just didn't stay on long enough to run some other more strenous tests. We also did several electical tests to find electrical problems on the motherboard - to which we made our best diagnosis that it pointed to an electrical short on the motherboard. However, we still couldn't be 100% conclusive to rule out the CPU being bad without replacing it. With that, we were up front to explain to you that while we narrowed the problem down to two areas, we couldn't properly tell you which area was the problem (and it could have been both areas too). That is why we said we were not 100% sure where the problem was specifically. In summary, it is not that we didn't know what was wrong with your computer, we knew what was wrong, but we couldn't be fully conclusive to which of the 2 areas caused the problem. Those parts could not be repaired but had to be replaced. As a lot of computer tools and tests are predicated on the fact that the computer needs to be powered up long enough for the test to complete, there was a huge limitation to how the tests were carried out and what we had to work with. The computer just didn't stay on long enough. We did our best to rule out, narrow the problem down and offered to swap out the parts out with a no risk guarantee. You had indicated you didn't want to do it. We charged you the diagnosis fee for the work done and that is our policy when you brought in the computer (and it was agreed upon). This small fee is mainly to cover us for the time it takes to take the computer apart, test parts and put it back together again (regardless of the result). Even with a diagnosis not being 100% conclusive, our diagnosis helps narrow down problems on your computer for you to make an educated decision on how to proceed and repair the computer. Again, I apologize that you felt it was a waste of time and money and interpreted it as we didn't diagnose the computer properly. Rest assured we did our best to help diagnose your problem and offered solutions to repair your computer.

I dropped my laptop off due to an issue with it not powering on/indicating that it was charging. They were able to look at it very quickly and get it back to me sooner than quoted. Second time I've used their services and have been happy with them both times.

I called this company out of the blue because I’m locked out of my Outlook account. They talked to me on the phone, gave me some advice, were very kind, even tried a few things themselves by phone. It turns out to be a Microsoft issue with my account. All this said the really wonderful thing was their kindness, their patience, and the fact that they did not charge me one penny for the time they took with me on the telephone. That is something that doesn’t happen anymore. Thank you very much. First time getting PC repairs- Absolutely incredible service experience at PC Ninja. Sarah was very polite and informative and helped walk me through the whole process. My computer had a boot drive issue that was able to be diagnosed and completely fixed by the next day after I brought it in. Very professional service and great prices. I will definitely be returning here for future repairs/upgrades. Thanks PC Ninja!

Had a very good experience with PC Ninja when my laptop screen broke. Took it to several other places and they either couldn't fix it or the price was almost the cost of a new laptop. Took it to them and they said it could be fixed in a week. The manufacturer on two occasions sent them the wrong screen but they kept me in the loop through the whole process. Finally the third screen worked and my computer is working again like new. Took longer than a week but they were quick to act and keep in touch with me when there was an issue. They did not charge me more even though they had to try three screens. First time using them but would highly recommend. Sarah was great to work with!

Took my pc over for graphics performance issues, dude told me he played fortnite and opened YouTube and blamed it on internet, no real diagnostics, no real professional in look, total waste of my time. Left with my computer still not working and got scolded by the technician, if youre looking here, you're looking at the wrong place. PS: Actually run proper benchmarks and diagnostics when trying to fix something, its literally the basics

The customer came into us with graphics performance problems and lag on the online games he played. We did our diagnostic tests at our shop and even did more extensive stress testing to see whether it experienced problems the way he did. It didn't show problems (on our shop's wired connection and wifi connection). Yes, we did do benchmarks testing as mentioned to the customer (even through his review said we didn't). We did benchmark testing on the CPU, graphics, disks and memory; without noticing any performance issues. We even played multiple games like Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, Total War, Red Dead Redemption while streaming Netflix, multiple instances of Youtube and Tiktok on browsers and we didn't experience the problems he was having. GTA, Total War and Red Dead themselves are one of the more CPU intensive games of 2020. Our diagnosis was that this was indicative of his Internet network connection not being able to properly cope with what he was trying to do i.e. he was using all his network bandwidth and his network just could not handle it. When explaining this to him, we found out that this young adult was not paying for his Internet and was piggybacking off other wifi/Internet connections to play games. He was also using it on cell phone hotspots belonging to other people and the common Xfinity public wifi connections (from accounts that was not his). On hearing this, we did firmly say to him that it is not ethical to use someone else's Internet (without his/her permission). We were in no way rude. Honesty is the best policy and as a local business, if we see something like that happening, we are going to mention it as one needs to act responsibly and ethically. No one likes having to pay for a service when unknown to him (or her), someone else is using it. Also, playing Internet intensive games on a cell phone hotspot or low bandwidth connection is also not the most suitable situation as there are going to be performance problems on CPU intensive games that rely on a good Internet connection. Most cell phone connections/plans also have some sort of cap on their connections where it'll slow down the data connection once it reaches a certain amount. In summary, we relayed all the above to him and our diagnosis is that it was the Internet connection. He still insisted we do more bench tests to check (even though we already did and didn't see problems). We said there is nothing more we can do if he didn't believe that the Internet was a main factor to his game performance problems. It was also hard to diagnose something we didn't see in our shop. In all this and even after some hours of testing done, we didn't charge him for our services. *It is important to note that the computer was left in the same way it was brought in, and it was working without problems at our shop and when we handed it off to him when he came to collect it. It is unfair to criticize us and give us a 1 star for the value we provided when we did our best to help, did several hours of work to test, and he was not charged a single cent for it.

I will not have anyone else do work on my computer! They are fast, efficient and reasonably priced. Let me save you the time and trouble, you might find someone cheaper but you the say" You Get What You Pay For. So save yourself the time of having to go to and cheapo and then come to a truely reasonably priced repair center!
