Papilio Early Learning Essendon Reviews

This was the worst communication I have ever encountered. No replied to letters or phone calls. If you called, they always said to ask someone (manager level )to call you back, but there was always no call back. It leaves people stuck in endless waiting and confusion.

Best childcare, hands down! It is far for us but our daughter thrived here and the educators are amazing. They are friendly, lovely and our daughter had the best time here. The biggest highlight for us apart from the education is the hygiene. We were so scared that she will be sick the first year but not at Papilio. she hardly fell sick because they keep the center clean. Highly recommend Papilio.

Unfortunately my experience has been unpleasant with this childcare. I had started my son and almost everyday I would receive a call from the daycare asking to pick him up, almost like they just don’t want to deal with him if hes crying or even try to settle him. He comes back home hungry and thirsty. I witnessed an educator accidentally bumping his head on the wall while walking with him, I understand accidents happen but they just lack the care/concentration that they should be giving these kids. When I call to ask about him, every educator says a different response. Overall; I do NOT recommend this daycare for your kids, please don’t waste your time or your kids time as there are better ones around the area.

The educators and management are truly outstanding. Their dedication and passion for teaching is evident in every interaction. Their communication with parents is excellent, ensuring we're always in the loop about our child's progress and activities. Couldn’t recommend Papilio enough.

Im having a very great experience with my two kids here I can easy see enjoy their time and make friendship. The teachers are great and management is caring thank you ❤️

Unfortunately we haven't had a positive experience at this centre. After only a week of our child attending, we feel we have no choice but to not return after learning that he was neglected water to drink all day. Since raising this concern, there hasn't been any follow-up from the centre to provide an explanation, nor asking about his welfare. Completely unacceptable!

The staff at Papilio were lovely - we recently had a stay and play / tour with my son. I was so impressed with how attentive the educators / centre manager were with all the babies and toddlers. It was clear that all the children were very connected to the staff and the centre itself was very clean and well kept.

My niece goes to this centre. The centre is well maintained, fresh, bright and well resourced, the staff are very professional, compassionate and generous with all aspects of care for my child.

My daughter has been attending Papilio Essendon since the start of the year and she is absolutely loving it! The staff are caring, attentive and knowledgeable with early childhood development!

Very caring and qualified centre 2 years ago. Went downhill 6 months ago with inexperienced area manager and “lead” educators. All trainee staff recruited were inexperienced. No chef, they only fed my son with wraps and dry sandwiches. Very poor communication and unsafe/lack of hygiene centre. In other words AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

My son Paddy is in the Seedlings (babies) room at Papilio Essendon. We have had such a great experience with them. The rooms are clean and inviting, the days are well structured with lots of educational activities for the kids, the sleeping room is fantastic and the outdoor area is a child’s delight. They provide nutritional meals and snacks and keep you updated throughout the day as to how your child is going, what they have eaten, how long and when they have napped. It’s honestly fantastic and the staff are so friendly. We will be sending our daughter there when I go back to work and have enrolled our son for a 3rd day this year, he loves going to daycare there. Couldn’t recommend the centre more!

Highly recommend! The educators are caring and attentive and make for a really beautiful environment for our kids. Our daughter thrives here and can't wait to go each time. The programs are fun, educational and inclusive.

It’s a very well run, well organised centre. The rooms are clean, communication throughout lockdown was always emailed and SMS’d when there were updates and the educators are very hands on, nurturing and caring with our son. Ours sons transition to daycare a few years back was handled very well, and he absolutely loves them. They also send daily updates in Storypark, where we get to see and read about what the kiddos get up to. And most importantly, we’ve also noticed a very minimal turnover in staff, which was the complete opposite with our older son when he went to daycare elsewhere. 5 stars all the way! We highly recommend Papilio :)
