My son has been at Papilio Camberwell for 5 weeks now and we have had such a positive experience. The daycare centre is clean bright and welcoming, the rooms are well equipped, the outdoor space is brilliant…but it’s the staff that really make this place. They are warm, kind and enthusiastic and have helped my son settle in well. I also love the activities that are available for the children and the communication, photos and updates via Storypark are excellent. Thank you to Priya and all the baby room staff!

Pappilio Camberwell badly handled two incidents that happened at the centre to our child. They brushed off our concerns and didn’t report it to department of education. The matter was not resolved to our satisfaction due to a lack of duty of care at this centre. As a result of it we had to withdraw our child.

We have had a really positive experience with Papilio Camberwell. The staff have been consistently kind, patient, and attentive, and it is clear they genuinely care about the children. Since starting, we’ve noticed real growth in our daughter — especially in her social confidence and communication skills. She comes home more independent, expressive, and the story times we get daily are great. It’s been nice to see her engaging with staff and other kids and enjoying her time there. The environment feels safe, warm, and well-organized, and we’ve always appreciated the updates and openness from the team. We’re grateful to have found a place that supports our daughter’s development in such a balanced, thoughtful way. Highly recommend!

My girl started at Papilio Camberwell last year and we’ve had such a great experience so far. The educators are super friendly, helpful and really made the whole settling-in process easy for us. Especially thanks Anne, Chelvi, Sandra, Sophie & Elleen. My girl so attached to them 😊. They’ve helped her build a great daily routine, and she’s always excited to go. There’s such a nice variety of activities — from outdoor play, building blocks, kids yoga, to cooking and more. I especially love getting the daily photo updates from the centre — it’s so lovely to see how much fun the kids are having. You can really tell they enjoy being there. Priya, the Centre manager, is also very helpful, always fast response on my enquiry/ request. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Papilio Camberwell to local families. The educators here are caring and professional, and there’s always a happy, welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of fun activities keep the kids engaged, and I’ve always felt confident leaving my two kids here.

Our family have had our 3 kids through Papilio Camberwell over the last 9 years until our youngest started Primary School this year. Our kids really loved their days at Papilio, the various fun and educating activities, yum food and especially the amazing, caring and friendly educators. The staff retention is fantastic, many of the same staff at Papilio Camberwell cared for all 3 of our kids. Highly recommend 😊

We love the educators and my son always looks forward to his childcare days. The team is harmonious, attentive, and devoted to children, it's easy to see how the activities are enjoyed by everyone. My son comes home with new skills all the time and we get lots of ideas for how to continue this play at home. Communication is excellent and I have zero safety concerns from baby to toddlerhood. Couldn't ask for more.

Papilio Camberwell is fantastic. My son loves it and soon we will be sending our daughter here as well. All the educators look after the children so well and they make sure our son (who tends to get upset to say goodbye at drop off) feels comfortable and included. After 5mins he doesn’t even realise I’ve gone! We are also so thankful that the centre accommodates us so well around my partner’s shift work and we love how flexible they are. We highly recommend it!

My 14month old absolutely loves it at Papilio! The educators are caring, attentive and friendly. My daughter has been attending since she was 6 months old, and has always been so well cared for. The food is healthy and delicious and she’s always involved in some kind of sensory or messy play!!!

My daughter started her childcare here when she was less than 18 months and just learning to walk. She was playing on concrete where she had a fall and hurt her head which led to a stitch on her forehead . The teachers and director had no answers and just apologised for the accident. Question is why was such small babies who are rely learning to walk playing near or on concrete ? Is this the safety of children there ? Later when she turned 4 year she was playing on the boat in the play area where there was a wood log was left open with open hinges hanging on it . My daughter was playing on the boat and had a fall and she fell on the wood log with the hinges stuck in her cheeks . She was in pain and there were no educators to help her . She said the educators were sitting and called her with hand movements . WHAT A SHAME ! She had to pull out the log by herself where the hinges were stuck in her cheeks and we had to hospital and had to go for a cosmetic surgery. Once again the educators and director ( this was a new director who had taken over the childcare ) had no answers and only apologised for the accident . AGAIN, WHY WAS THIS SHARP THING LEFT OPEN IN THE PLAY AREA AND WHAT SAFETY IS FOLLOWED HERE ? When asked for a cctv footage of the incident they said they don’t have cctv operating on the site . How ridiculous. Never send your child to this childcare . Was a big mistake to send my daughter there and see her go through so much pains

My children are so happy here they don’t want to leave at the end of the day. It’s a great family community, the educations are always happy to see the kids and the kids a genuinely happy to see them. They do wonderful activities, every day is full of action, my children are growing and learning here. It’s a great feeling to have found somewhere with such wonderful support. My little boy has only been with this wonderful centre for a little more than 3 months and I can definitely say that he LOVES this place! I have never seen him happier to be left for the day ever since he started daycare. The moment I walked in for the first time I was wonderfully met by Angie, the centre manager. She has been providing awesome help with every enquiry we have made and responds as soon as possible. I believe that the centre has a strong, very competent and coherent team - you can tell this with how the kids are loving the centre. I highly recommend Papilio Camberwell to parents considering putting their children in a safe, fun and a great learning place. To the Papilio Camberwell team - Thank you very much for all your support and commitment to the children, especially during this difficult times!
