I cannot recommend Papilio Early learning Meadowbank highly enough! This wonderful center is truly child-centered, focusing on the unique interests and individual development of each child. The educators are incredibly caring and dedicated, providing an environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn. What sets this center apart is their deep respect for families. They actively incorporate family goals and maintain open communication, making parents feel like true partners in the child's education and growth. Every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure that both children and parents are supported and well-informed.

Our boys go to Papilio Meadowbank and we couldn’t have asked for better educators and carers. The educators in nursery are so caring and really tries to understand the kids routines to help them settle in the room. The activities that the educators in toddler room have been great in helping my son develop socially, physically and mentally. Really grateful for the tight knit crew of Papilio Meadowbank.

Unfortunately we had to pull our son from the 0-2 class after multiple bad experiences that didn’t get better despite the feedback. With the exception of Ms Gabby and Ms Zoe who are excellent and receptive to feedback, there are a few educators here who clearly don’t want to be there. Our son consistently had bad nappy rashes, the educators would rush to change a poo the moment I walk in for pick up after seeing me arrive, and the nail in the coffin was leaving him seated in his own poo and vomit, bawling his eyes out, until the 20 minutes it took from me receiving the phone call to pick him up and arriving.

Our daughter has been at Papilio Meadowbank since she was 11months and she is now almost 5 and off to Kindy next year. We’ve been so lucky to have been a part of this centre with the most loving educators! At every stage and in every room my daughter has had the most wonderful educators and they very quickly addressed any concerns or requests I had regarding her care. Can’t recommend this centre enough.

We have such a wonderful experience at Papilio Meadowbank and would highly recommend this centre! I’ve toured a lot of daycares around the area for my 13month old bub and after meeting the centre managers and the educators at the tour, I knew this was the place. This centre is smaller and felt more family-like compared to others which was what I was looking for. The centre managers, Zoe and Julie are absolutely amazing. They are professional, kind and understanding, and will offer their time to help you and your child settle in. It is rare to see the centre managers in the rooms but I see Zoe and Julie in the rooms and with children. My baby settled surprisingly well into the centre. Having consistent educators during the week and the care and support from the amazing Nursery educators helped so much - Thanks to Miss Gabby and her team! So lucky to send my baby here 😊

Papilio Meadowbank has some of the hardest working educators I have ever seen (Especially Ms Farkhanda, Ms Shaymi and Ms Wendy) Their passion and dedicaion to the job is remarkable despite being a smaller centre with less resources then other centres. The staff make this centre shine and keep me at peace knowing my child is being well looked after. My child also loves the food they make everyday at the centre. Thank you Papilio Meadowbank, keep up the amazing work.

My son has been attending Papilio Meadowbank since he was 6 months and loves going everyday! The educators care so much for each child and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of daycare

We are so happy with the care, love and attention they give our son at Papilio Meadowbank. He started at the centre when he was 11 months old and has settled so well thanks his fantastic educators. Our son has complex food allergies and these are catered for safely by the on-site Chef. We are also very happy with the management team and how attentive they are. We highly recommend this centre and the incredible team!

My kid started at Papilio Meadowbank when she was 7 months old , the educators were very nurturing and made sure she adjusted well , felt safe and loved, they have a good curriculum which keeps the kids engaged , the staff are very passionate and caring , i could see a good development in my child and i am glad this has made a significant difference in my child's early years. My heartfelt gratitude to all the staff of Papilio Meadowbank (all of them are amazing !!!) , we had to pull my kid out of the centre as we moved to a different suburb , Thank you Papilio!!! Cant rate this center higher !!!

My son has just finished his journey in Papilio today, he was well taken care by all staffs from day 1. During last 6 months that he spent in Papilio, he achieved a lot and made a huge progress that we could see in naked eyes. I would like to thank Ms Esther, Ms Anna, Ms Wendy, Ms Tina, Ms Anusha, Ms Yijina, Ms Ashlee, Mr Chris, Chef and all those who looked after my son. Greatly appreciate your efforts and supports. We will miss all of you.

Very nice place, my boy Muddge though spent a short time in this learning centre but he is crying for leaving this place. Although we have to live in Mel in future but I will definitely send my kids back here if we move back to Sydney.

Our son started with Papilio at the age of 8 months and we very comfortable and happy with the atmosphere at the centre. The staff led by Miss Ashlee and ably supported by Miss Julie, Miss Farkhanda (everyone to be honest) are very understanding, professional and caring. We'd recommend them without any hesitation.

My baby girl used to stay there for few months in nursery room. Ms Gabby is the most responsible educator and i feel she was also the only one does take care of all the kids. Apart from that, there were quite few issues need to be addressed,conflict of interest in nursery room as some educators only focus on particular child, or you can never trust the menu as like curry can be provided for lunch three time a week, sometimes ratio is hard to meet as well. Overall I would recommend here as average…

Could not rate Papilio Meadowbank higher. We have gone through a few daycares in the area and Papilio is easily the best. My son and daughter have both thrived at the centre, learned so much and made so many friends. The educators are so knowledgeable and care so much about their kids. Every day they have new activities themed to the children's interests. The director Ashlee is such a warm and welcoming person and goes above and beyond every day. We have recently moved out of the area and I'm so sad to have had to take our kids out - it will be hard to find a centre that even comes close.

I sent my two boys there, Miss Julie and Miss Bruna were fantastic! They cared children with their loving heart~~ appreciated to all! When my child was in Nursery never got rash always being cleaned on time. And quality of activities were amazing!!

This is an honest and personal review, and i'm only giving 3 positive stars tor educators like miss Zoe, miss Bruna, and miss Gabby who i believe show competency and professionalism in an early education setting. Papilio meadowbank present well, but when left to perform duties are cowboys. This i believe is the direct result and infiltration of management which needs to be changed. my daughter in 6 months of being enrolled: 1. continual had nappy rash: each time cortisone needed third time round it lasted a month and hypo-pigmented her. Being in a personal services environment myself any cost in-cured due to incompetence was always covered, they didn't offer a thing! i then looked at her nursery schedule the final time her nappy in a10 hour days was changed 3 times. Head office was informed and i didn't hear back. 2. Had to remind the nursery team continually ensuring activities and sensory play were being performed, once i complained it was implemented (ridiculous) 3. enormous amount of “conflict of interest” there, educators having their own children in the room. i believe is unjust and unfair im sure you can make your own mind on why. 4.last straw was 2 times in one week My 15 month old was injured (NEVER BEFORE under family or my watch) she was literally thrown to the lions because of their inability to meet ratio standards. blending age groups is fine, but within safety parameters. environments in a daycare are suppose to be built to ensure complete safety to cater to age groups so ensure that when blending nursery with the older children. They are expensive and incompetent and the manager (Ashley) conducts herself like a worn out teenager, when i addressed my concerns firmly, she used her personal issues to advocate for the poor attendance to my child. Then continued to say “why dont you leave seems like you're not happy” - disgraceful my child has been hurt has had continual nappy rash pain, and she behaves like a child herself disregarding my child's wellbeing get a grip. i found myself continually managing them and my child which was exhausting, whatever helps my daughter have a positive experience, which was the main factor. But outlining this i was always transparent and providing feedback which Ashley took as nagging, but it is needed to improve their practices. Their standard is unacceptable being the most expensive daycare service in the area, it does not warrant exorbitant costs, they don't do anything special. Head office initially approved of the behaviour of meadowbank management, then eventually changed their tune which gave me a little hope that something may change and i appreciate their help to ensure i was happy. But i am not happy with the relentlessness and insensitive approach of staff member Ashley the “manager”. But until that staff member is present don't expect change, its unfortunate that i had this experience. In all honesty i unenrolled my child due to fear that management would behave with distaste to my child due to my HONEST and WARRANTED concerns/feedback. There is plenty more to add but ill keep it simple, i would reconsider sending a child younger than 3 to papilio.
