We leased office space to Shawn, the owner of Paladin Insurance Advocates in Kouts, IN. Unfortunately, he failed to pay rent for 3 months and broke his lease 5 months early, leaving us with financial losses and needed repairs to the suite. We also noticed missing items from our lobby during this time and will be filing a police report. He's also a very rude and condescending person. If you are a landlord or business owner considering renting to or working with him, please proceed with caution. Our experience was very disappointing and costly.

I gave 1 star only because negative stars are not an option. Shawn caused us a HUGE financial loss. He lied to us, and conspired with a contractor to cheat us out of the insurance money to fix our property. He is a crook, and a liar.

Absolutely outstanding a must have team on your side. When you don't deal with insurance claims regularly you are very unaware of what will be necessary and available to you to restore your property. When catastrophe strikes and emotions take there toll you can relax on knowing this team is hard at work on getting back what you had as efficiently as possible. Absolutely 10 out of 10. A++ and greatly appreciated. Continue helping people when we need it most.

They did not communicate with us for 3 weeks after hiring their services. Before we hired them they were very helpful and attentive but after we agreed to use them they disappeared. After continuing to ask what was going on they said they were too busy and would refer us to someone else. Zero stars if possible.

I had a house fire which in the end resulted in a complete loss. Thanks to Shawn & his team he fought with the insurance company who only wanted to pay out less than 50% of my structure policy limits. Our insurance adjuster was extremely combative & unwilling to admit our home was a complete loss even after our county inspectors deemed it a complete loss & required us to replace the foundation in order to rebuild. Shawn & his team were extremely accommodating for myself and my family which consisted of two children under 2 years old. They got us arranged into temporary housing while we rebuilt, worked to inventory all our belongings and dealt with our insurance adjuster & ended up yielding us an additional 150% over their initial offer. Without Paladin me and my family would have never gotten what was needed to complete a total rebuild of our house. Now 4 years later looking back I'm glad we made the choice to have Shawn help us recover from our loss. Thanks Paladin!

I don’t even know where to begin... dealing with the insurance company is a nightmare. I’m so glad I hired Shawn and his team. So many people have no idea what you are entitled to in a claim and the insurance company will not tell you everything! Shawn is there for me 24/7 and is even assisting in my house being built. My family had a fire at our home. I was raised that the insurance company would “take care of you.” When I met with the insurance adjuster I got a ‘funny feeling’ about how things were going to go. I reluctantly met with Shawn, the owner of Paladin, at the urging of a family friend. I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to be hiring them. However, within 5 minutes of him walking through the house and him explaining things to me how things should ha e been done and pointing out some of the same concerns I had, I decided to hire Paladin to represent my family’s interests. Boy, am I glad I did! The insurance company has been extremely difficult to work with! Thank goodness for Shawn, his team, and his expertise! While we are still fighting with the insurance company 13 months from date of loss, I could not imagine what would have happened without Paladin’s help, guidance, and reassurance. I would highly recommend PALADIN!!! They helped my family and I during a house fire.Shawn helped us out so much and educated us along the way with every procedure that was being done and what the insurance company was trying to pull on me and how unlawful the insurance company was doing to put more money in there pockets and there adjusters as well as insurance agents end of year bonuses. it’s a shame how the insurance companies treat us when they literally got our family lives in there hands . My house had extensive water damage and insurance was offering me a fraction of the cost to repair it and threatening to force my family and I to move back into an unsafe house. Shawn fought hard to make sure I was able to properly repair my house. He was honest and upfront on what to expect. He was thorough on all fronts and made sure our insurance company provided us with the proper repairs. My only regret was that I didn’t call him sooner. I highly recommend Paladin Insurance Advocates. His supporting staff, Patty and Jessica were also very helpful and always available for questions. I thought I knew how to handle the situation; however, I was wrong. Paladin is the best. I trusted them with my family’s best interest and they did not disappoint.
