chinese quality products !
Worst customer ever ! I would rather buy from Domespaces
Love it
We were looking for a quality product that we could use at some property we have that could be used as a tiny home of sorts. Pacific Domes met and exceeded our needs with size, quality, and functionality. Installation was pretty easy and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. We bought the 12’ tall dome. I would recommend their products and we may purchase another one for a different location.
We love our 30' dome from Pacific Domes - and so do our guests! We had so much fun customizing the look and feel so it was warm, inviting and beautiful. It's one of the main features at our campground, and people really enjoy the novel experience of being so close to nature while having everything they need close by. We even have an organ and sound system in the dome so that people can tune into the perfect vibe. We're so grateful to offer people this unique camping experience, and hope they love it as much as we do!
Wonderful group of peeps! They truly took care of our purchase from start to finish. Excited to put our dome together and send pics to them on our build. Special thank you to Brittany and crew for everything. Big love!!!
I received a tour of the facility including the cutting table and production floor. They were generous with their time and information.
We are looking to get a 16 foot dome with the mandala floor. Eric and Asha have been very helpful and they even uploaded a video for us to watch. I was amazed to learn that Pacific Domes has been part of Ashland's history for thirty years. My husband Will and I feel that domes with their sacred geometry very much part of humanity's future evolution as they will assist us in healthy living and caring for our environment by being structures that cause minimum impact to our planet.
WOW living in a some from Pacific seems like.fun!!!
Large Selection of superior designed products. Good pricing that's competitive.
I got a 30ft glamping dome from Pacific Domes almost two years ago and I have to say my overall experience in every aspect has been not only an emotional disappointment but a costly one in terms of money and time. Customer service issues aside, PD has made so many errors that have cost me so much additional money that it's hard to even tally the list for the purposes of this review.
I will say that, with each error they've made, they have done their best to quickly rectify the situation with replacements, but "quick replacements" (meaning a few weeks) mean wasted time as my dome is located far from my home and requires an airplane and a full day to get to. In addition to that, most of their errors have cost me staff-time. Since most dome-work is a multi-person activity, I've had to enlist help for every bit of installation and many times this hired work has ground to a halt due to PD's errors of various types (more on these below)--causing me lost productivity and leaving me to foot the bill for PD's mistakes.
Some items of feedback for the guys at PD would be 1) improve quality control and stop it with (the many) small mistakes that end up costing customers time and money, 2) enhance the detail of the manual so that your customers can avoid pitfalls that cause frustration and lost time/money, 3) the "dwell" market is very different from the "event" market--if selling to individuals, the knowledgeable staff at PD needs to educate buyers on the limitations and problems with domes (uninsulated, water problems), 4) PD needs to inform customers that, while these domes are sold as kits, they are far from turn-key. The door installation, for example, is a serious interface that requires a specialized craftsman to square the door frame with the irregular dome attachment bits.
I conclusion, now that I'm aware of the limitations of the dome and know exactly what to expect, if I want any more domes in the future, I will be ordering from PD as they have shown commitment through what became a pretty terrible and overly costly process. The dome has been a struggle with a lot of missed expectations, but now that I know exactly how to approach and mitigate the shortcomings in the manual, build, insulation and doorway, future domes aren't off limits.
We have been using our 30-ft (9 metre) dome for our planetarium operation in the Canadian Rockies for more than 3 years of continuous business outside (including 2 VERY cold winters) and couldn't be happier with it. Customer service is excellent - Robert and folks answer every one of our weird/specific questions in a timely and detailed manner. Can not recommend these guys enough for amazing event or permanent structures.
