Pay attention
Beautiful landscape and architecture. The earpiece was good but distracting at times as you had to closely follow your group to get the tour guide’s description of the palace. A person can get caught up with taking pictures and admiring the architecture. Then you hear the scratchy muffle sounds of the your guide you snap back to reality to catch up with the tour group.
Muy interesante la visita con Silvana. Nos explicó muy bien el contexto sociocultural e histórico de Cádiz, y nos dió muchas recomendaciones de sitios a visitar.

Mind the passports
We forgot our passports in the hotel. Our fault. But they sent the reminder to bring the passports with us 13 minutes before the start. I told one of the guys it would have been thoughtful to send a reminder maybe a bit earlier and was disappointed by his reply that in Spain you MUST carry your passport/ID all the time with you when in the streets. Of course. Next time I bring the passports. And maybe OWAY learns from this as well and sends a helpful reminder earlier than 13 minutes .
Worst ever tour guide!!
We toured today, included Alcazar, Cathedral and the tower. Our tour guide “Isabel” was the worst. She was very unorganized, unwelcoming from the beginning, was snapping at us for every little thing like she was dealing with 2 year old kids. Her English was worst and she talked so fast, we could not understand a thing about the historical events. Before this we had tour guides for Toledo and Alhambra, those were excellent tour guides. I personally tipped $40 to one and $25 dollars to the other (due to cash availability), but both were excellent. This tour was so bad that we just did Alcazar and left without seeing the cathedral or the tower. Would recommend not to do any tours with this company. Made our Seville experience the worst!!
Great walking tour of Alcazar and the cathedral
This was a wonderful experience. Our guide, José, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Alcazar, Cathedral and Sevilla. There is an opportunity to climb up the cathedral tower which was amazing but if you’re not super mobile it may be a challenge. The Alcazar is gorgeous and the gardens are huge and picturesque.
Walk in the footsteps of millions while learning about the wonderful cultures that lived here.
We enjoyed this fabulous tour which covered the Cathedral, Giralda and Royal Palace. It well constructed and conducted; informative historically, culturally and socially; our guide Isabel had excellent English and was very pleasant throughout - always keen to answer questions and provide the best experience. While a less busy time of year we were grateful to have direct entry; no queues; and clear sight access to architectural features and photo opportunities throughout. The tour was around 4 hours but the time flew by and there were breaks for R&R. Only downside for us was the group size (24) which made it slower and despite your own audio made it harder to follow when not in proximity to the guide.
Great Tour
The tour was excellent, Jose was informative and very expressive, we learned a lot The Alcazar is amazing to see and the cathedral is spectacular. Fortunately the weather co-operated and the gardens were open and looked splendid even in November. Booking the tour and utilizing the skip the line certainly made the visit easier. Overall recommended
Be sure to make the climb up the tower!
Informative. Guide (Sam) was very knowledgeable and presented with a deep appreciation for the history of both monuments. Devices were easy to use and language was clear. He was also very diligent to ensure we remained together and that no one was separated. Finally, he was also charming with a good sense of humor. Learned so very much.
Wear your walking shoes
Very good tour. Be a little early to the meet up point, ours was c. Trajano 6, check in, make sure to have your original passport, not a copy. They scan it several times. There is a lot to see on the ceilings, so don’t forget to look down when walking. If you have mobility issues, there is a hike through town from the bus to the view point in Granada and you will get your steps in around the Alhambra. You are on a tight schedule, eat lunch where they suggest to make sure you are on time or if not, keep an eye on your watch. They said 8000 people go through Alhambra a day during busy seasons, so STAY with your group. The crowds can be brutal, but it all moves fairly well. Ladies, take tissue with you to the restroom. Hydrate and enjoy!
