My routine maintenance appointment was scheduled quickly and at a convenient time. The Service Technician, Gary Nash, notified me before arriving right on time. He was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Gary thoroughly explained everything he was doing and gave detailed insights about the different components and potential future repairs. I had a terrible experience with Gary Nash the technician at Overhead Garage and Door. He appeared to have limited knowledge and had poor communication skills and professionalism. I would not recommend doing business here.
Excellent Service
I just wanted to tell you how pleased we were with Overhead Door's service. Our garage door spring broke on Wednesday evening (I suspect a combinaion of age and the very cold weather.), and on Thursday morning you had a repair person come out to replace it less than 12 hours after we had contacted you. Thank you for such prompt response. Corey did a great job and everything is working wonderfully now. We have used you in the past when we wanted to replace our garage door and you are certainly our first contact for future work.

Outstanding customer service and same day repairs done right the first time. I wasn't available to be at home when the technician said he'd arrive, but he came over anyway and the damage was fixed before I got back. These folks don't overcharge for unneeded work. Will probably be setting up an annual maintenance deal with them.

I've used the Overhead Door Company in the past and was well pleased for services provided at my previous home in Woodstock. The NE Ga location is every bit as professional and provided quality work. I would strongly recommend against Overhead Door Company. In calling to make an appointment, Renae the operator failed to include my correct phone number (even when it was spelled out for the appointment) which caused inability to communicate by the tech until moments upon arrival. The tech, Gary Nash, came out of his van and was on a call the first 10 to 15 minutes and not present on the job. Gary Nash had no knowledge how to fix the matter but rather exacerbated the matter where he damaged another garage door port. I was standing there and he was caught, but rather than take any responsibility and even call his manager Mike York onsite, he fled out of the house. It was an understatement of poor customer service but a tech who showed such immaturity onsite and no accountability. Even in the ticket notes, he mentioned that I did not move cars out of the garage, but no one at Overhead before the appointment told me to do so! Gary Nash had come a couple of years ago, and I had forgotten it was the same tech. At that time, he asked nosy questions irrelevant to the job. Gary Nash also did not put in the notes of the damage he caused. Due to the damage this time, Mike York said another tech Corey Archuleta would come to fix the damage. Corey arrived and it was clear that Mike York did not give him the notes with the pics and/or Corey did not glance at them. I had to reorient him on this matter, which the company should have already done. The garage problem still persists despite this being a garage door company! They sent an email calling this 'servicing' acting as this is a favor to us. This is no favor. As a customer, you are met with poor communication skills, incompetency, immaturity, and lack of knowledge. I would AVOID Overhead Door Company.
