Growing up in the 80s it really hard to image soketimemjust how much the airport has grown. It's an impressive looking airport with it's very modern structures. Despite this in the inside it's the same as most. There is an extended walk now if you are leaving for ryanair flight now which terminal 2 is almost exclusively built for. The food offering are still only ok. the Burger is actually one of the worst I've been too. It seems to be always running out of items and it never feels that clean. The best offering is probably the Market. It has decent roast meals and sandwiches. There have been a couple of new additions over the last few years with more Asian food offerings. Terminal 2 gate area is one massive long hall..it's food offerings are worse still with things being almost exclusively cafe bars with prepacked items and nothing freshly prepared. And then there is the prices. Like all airports there should be an investigation into price gouging. Especially in the conviniece stores .I stood looking at a large bar of chocolate which cost and I kis you not 20 euro. How about the packets of jelly sweets normally about 2 euro in Tesco now 6.99 euro. There is no way this prices if fair and they are absolutely abusing the captive market of an airport. Good old capitalism 😔
