Nigel installed a new fusebox and some outdoor sockets, as well as performing a full test on the electrics of my house. He was friendly, professional, prompt, and responded to any questions I had. Top class, 5 star, affordable prices, excellent work and professional service. Nigel and Zac were/are legends. They had to undertake extensive inspection and fault finding of a ring main circuit spreading across two floors of the house, including replacing a faulty cable under the floorboards. Over several visits they were very meticulous, friendly, informing me about their work and progress throughout, and explaining what they had to do. It was a mamoth task but they managed it expertly with a good sense of humour too. I have no hesitate in recommending and would use them again.

Nigel and Zak carried out an EICR inspection prior to replacing my consumer unit. This highlighted issues with three sockets and two light pendant fittings. The consumer unit was replaced and the issues fixed at the same time. The work was carried out in a very professional, tidy and cheerful manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Ohms Electrical and would certainly use them again should the need arise.

Fault-finding / rectification. Following initial assessment by exchange of emails, arrived on time and very quickly identified and rectified the fault. Charged the basic 1 hour call-out fee which was absolutely reasonable. It is good to know I can access an experienced, reliable and local electrician when needed, and will certainly be using Ohms Electrical again when carrying out further remodelling and need the advice & services of an electrician.

Nigel and Zack fitted a new consumer unit for my house and ran power to my garden office and added several switches and lighting, they were very competitive on price, reliable, polite and professional. they explained everything to me so that i understood every process and were very patient in answering all the questions i had. They worked well with the company that built the office ensuring a seamless transition between trades. i would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs some electrical work doing, its nice to find a trader that you can rely on, thanks for the hard work guys, great job.

Nigel came and gave me a quote for the jobs requested . I felt it was a really reasonable quote . He came when he said he’d come and I felt comfortable with him being in the house along with Zac . They got on with the job without any hanging around . They worked quickly and efficiently. Contacted Nigel Just before Christmas as we were unable to get a new oven and hob installed as our fuse box had the wrong fuse (too low). Nigel fitted us in three days before Christmas and sorted out the problem immediately. Very quick, friendly and professional and will definate call again if we need any electrical work done.

I contacted Nigel to ask if he could do a small electrical job for me in my newly fitted kitchen . It was to rectify work from previous electrician , who let’s just say, didn’t do the job properly. Nigel & Zac did everything they said they would for the cost they quoted - they worked hard and worked until the job was finished.... even though our plans evolved as the work went on they were totally adaptable and if a cost needed to be amended they told us straight away and then gave us advice and time to think about what we wanted. They were so good and the quote so competitive that we went ahead and had them put in outside electrics to the summerhouse and lights in the garden (which can be remotely controlled from the house or the summerhouse). In addition to the lights we also had two water features installed. We are extremely happy with the results. Nigel and Zac are lovely people and care about the service they give, they take pride in their work and we would most definitely recommend them.

Amazing service, Niger took the time to explain what could and couldn't be done. The quotes were sent in due time. The work was highly professional and very good quality. Great response from Nigel following an online query. Fast and reasonably priced quote. Turned up when he said he would. Clean, tidy and neat installations with great attention to detail. All work fully documented and certificated. Very happy and would happily use again.

OHMS provided a very competitive quote for a variety of smallish upgrades and repairs that we wanted. They were able to attend within a good timescale and mentioned that one of the jobs we had in mind wouldn't be possible without contravening safety regs, so we could agree an alternative solution. The work was carried out to a good standard, with good humour but professionalism. No hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.
