I was scammed on Offer Up and I reported the scam and they did nothing about it. Buyer beware scammers are there. They will say that they are selling something that they know is too large to sale by local costs so they will want to sell it to you via UPS and you will never get it. Beware do not try to buy it. You will be scammed.

why is this scam of a company still in business? they spam you with ads, they share/sell your personal information, they force you to provide your personal information after you build up your rating/reviews, they push you to pay for their shipping service and or for monthly subscription.

No notice or explanation of why I violated policy by posting a photo of clothes to resell. wth is wrong with these SS hunters out to get the good civilians. ?!?!?! JUST SAY NO! BE CAREFUL They don't deserve even one star. Before I sign the contract with them, I asked about the name of other businesses in the area who has an account with OfferUp. She gave me the name of a couple of them. Later on, I found out none of the business names would have given to me has an advertisement with OfferUp. After two months a gentlemen from OfferUp called me, asked the reason I want to stop the advertisement. When I said to him all the story he apologized and was supposed to get back with me to prove one of the names I gotten by his colleague is advertising with OfferUp. He never ever got back with me. For three months all the emails I got, whether the emails were wrong or the phone numbers. All the leads are fake. Don't waste you money.

Buyer protection plan is a joke I have been using offer up for years to buy shoes and sell things. I am utterly disappointed when I bought a Garmin bounce for my niece. Device looked great so I rated the seller great. For two weeks we tried to trouble shoot with the seller because the subscription has to be cancelled in order to connect a new one for my niece, we’ve talked with garmin and even best buy. Garmin and Best Buy think it’s stolen that’s why he can’t cancel the subscription. He says he did but won’t show any screenshots or give account number. I contacted offer up for refund and they only have a 2 day buyer protection plan. I said well can you change his rating because I don’t want him to sell other people stolen devices and they go through what I’m going through. He needs to be stopped and they said they can’t change reviews. I will only be using eBay from here on forward they have 💯 money back guaranteed

Offerup is terrible they have zero staff that will answer emails or reply at all. They have taken my money for posts but will not allow my post to be seen. No refunds offered don't waste you're money ot your time with offerup!!

Offer Up has to be the most ineffective selling platform to ever waste your time with Just got account deactivated (after 7 years) for simply inquiring why they took down a legitimate item that I had posted for sale!! I emailed them asking why my listing for a tabletop LCD Repair Machine was removed, their response was to DELETE MY ACCOUNT. All listings are gone, and they've gone as far as preventing access to even download the app from the playstore on my device lol. Considering how slow the app is, and how few results it has yielded over the years, as well as how their customer service is literally non-existent, I won't miss it at all!

Just closed my account for no reason. Although I’m guessing it’s because I inquired about why they were throttling my messages. I’m not a “premium” member, so I’m guessing that’s why. Heads up, y’all. OfferUp doesn’t let you message other user unless you pay them. And that’s how the capitalistic cookie crumbles.

Customer service sucks! I want to offer shipping but they claim that the wording I'm using is causing a problem. They escalated to IT and then can't figure it out. How can IT not know how to fix their own problem?

Won't List Items Or To Slow Use to be a good site. Now they take forever to list your items, especially if same item is already listed and they want more money for it, or have the premium account. Craigslist is better, and faster when it comes to listing your item. I sell more things off that website. And it's still free.

The Worst Company The worst company. I posted a train set for sale and my dog happened to be in it. It was on there for a year and then they took it down saying animals can't be sold on there! Wasen't selling my dog!
