We got the crispy pork intestines, hainanese chicken, roti canai, kang kung, keow tueh, Crispy chicken, sizzling tofu, and chicken rice. Overall impression, not bad for price but definitely could be better. The chicken was a bit dry, the chicken rice hard and a little undercooked, noodle has good wokhay, vegetables was good had a good kick to it. Would recommend the noodle and roti canai. Those were good, pork intestines good too.
Some of the best malay food I had in NYC. Absolutely love the nasi lemak and roti chanai.
The roti was flaky, crispy and stretchy at the same time and the layering was exquisite. The chanai was very aromatic and spicy without being overpowering.
The rendang was super flavorful and tender. My only gripe with the nasi lemak is that it had the curry chicken variant and not the fried chicken one. Both sambals with the nasi lemak were spicy, tangy and mildly sweet🔥🔥🔥. The fried anchovys were crispy and salty balancing it out.
The wait for our food was very long. But portions were large and the staff is super friendly.
Foods is overpriced- foods is very small portions
