I brought my mother to Cohen Gynecology for a scheduled appointment specifically to get a pessary (ring) placed for her condition. She is an elderly patient on Medicare, and we made this appointment in advance for that exact purpose.
We took time off work, paid for transportation, and arrived early only to be told by the doctor that they don’t even have the pessary available and suggested we “go somewhere else.”
This is completely unacceptable.
No one called us ahead of time to inform us. No one verified whether they had the necessary equipment before booking the appointment. This shows a total lack of respect for patients’ time, money, and health especially for elderly patients who depend on proper care and coordination.

I came in feeling frustrated after dealing with recurring symptoms, and this appointment honestly made a huge difference. NP Jane Lee was incredibly attentive, you could tell she was genuinely listening to my concerns. She took her time explaining everything, asked thoughtful follow up questions, and never made me feel rushed. Most importantly, she helped put a lot of my anxiety at ease.
As an occupational therapist, I truly value providers who take the time to engage with their patients and work with them to find solutions, and Jane absolutely did that.
I also highly recommend this practice overall. The office is clean, well organized, and the front desk staff is friendly, responsive, and efficient. A really positive experience from start to finish.

Thank you so much, Maria. We’re happy to hear you had such a great experience with our staff and doctor, and that you felt well cared for with professional, attentive service. We’re also glad everything was quick and smooth. Thank you for your 5-star review!
I am writing a review of Jane Lee, Nurse Practitioner, as a mother who has spent the past six months watching her daughter endure the worst period of her life, emotionally, physically, and psychologically, because of the reckless and profoundly insensitive actions of a provider in your practice.
What my daughter experienced was not simply poor bedside manner. It was a complete failure of basic human decency, emotional intelligence, and professional responsibility.
Because Ms. Lee did not take a few minutes of her time to communicate with care, my daughter’s life was derailed. I watched my child, once healthy, confident, joyful, and thriving, collapse under the weight of fear and distress that never should have been inflicted on her in this way. I watched her lose months of her life. I watched her take a leave of absence from work. I watched her miss milestones, including the celebration of her 30th birthday. I watched her hair fall out, her sleep disappear, and her sense of safety in the world completely unravel.
Most devastating of all, I sat beside my daughter in emergency rooms after weeks without sleep. I listened as she expressed thoughts no parent should ever hear from their child. I watched her begin psychiatric medications she never needed before, medications with known risks of suicidal ideation, because one provider chose convenience (delivering a life-altering news over a portal) over compassion.
Let me be very clear: this harm was avoidable.
A single, cold sentence sent through a patient portal stating her results were “very low,” paired with an alarming recommendation for IVF, without explanation, context, reassurance, or a phone call, was grossly irresponsible. Sensitive reproductive information was delivered with zero regard for the psychological impact it carries. No follow-up. No guidance. No care. My daughter was left alone at work to process information that any competent provider should know can be terrifying.
All that was required was five minutes. Five minutes to explain. Five minutes to reassure. Five minutes to act like a professional entrusted with people’s lives and mental health. Instead, my daughter was made to feel discarded and abandoned—like someone else’s problem.
As a mother, I find it enraging that a provider with years of medical training could show such a profound lack of empathy. This was not a medical error, it was a human failure. And the consequences were severe.
My daughter is only now beginning to recover through therapy and relentless family support. We are grateful she is still here. But the damage inflicted by this experience cannot be undone. Our family will carry it forever.
This letter is not written to seek comfort or apologies. It is written because what happened is unacceptable, and because no other woman should be pushed to the brink of despair due to a provider’s indifference. Practices like yours must do better. Lives depend on it.
One of the worst medical office . Front desk receptionist are even worst. They are so disrespectful & disgusting toward patients. Teach them how to deal with patients with manners. Not professional at all !!! There’s are good medical office with nice doctors & environments please go there. This place is so disgusting & unprofessional 😡
I totally recommend Doctor Felix Cohen.
Doctor Cohen is exceptional. His empathy and respect towards each patient is what has patients coming to his offices for years, like myself. Doctor Cohen creates a reassuring environment where you’ll feel welcomed and at peace.
I want to acknowledge Suzanne the ultrasound tech from Dr Cohen’s office. I will forever be thankful with you, not only for representing doctor Cohen the way you do. Thank you for caring for each patient, thank you so much for standing up and guiding me in my most vulnerable moment. That day that I did my biggest mistake of not waiting for Doctor Cohen and instead booked an appointment with Doctor Abrams an extremely rude human being that doesn’t deserve to share an office next to this facility.
My joy to confirm my pregnancy took me to not wait as for my next visit I was going to see doctor cohen again. The day that was supposed to be a happy day turned into a nightmare, in DR Abram’s office!
The girl that was sent in my room for bloodwork was extremely unprofessional, this lady as she is reaching for the second tube to be filled, pulled the cord and the needle came out of my vain. Now you can imagine how traumatic was this for a person that hates to see blood. There she was trying to clean my arm stoping the flow while there was blood on the side of the bed she had me sitting.
In that moment Abram’s Came in the room while all this situation is happening to tell me with her lack of empathy and negative energy, that there is no heart beat for my baby. She continued with the negativity, if there is no heart beat something could be wrong with the pregnancy and so on, giving me at that time zero positive words. Instead of taking the time to explain to me that I was too early in my pregnancy and this could be the reason of no heart beat. But clearly her intentions since the beginning were no good towards me.
This was such a traumatic doctor’s visit I ever experienced. Once I left her office few minutes after that’s when Suzanne called me as she heard about my situation with that doctor. I told her how worried I was and that I was heading to the hospital as this doctor made believe something was wrong with my baby. Suzanne reassured me and gave me the peace they stole in that doctor office. she accommodated me for my next appointment with Doctor Cohen and she did my ultrasound and there it was my baby’s beautiful heart beat.
I will never do the same mistake again! I hope Suzanne gets all the recognition she deserves. For not only stepping up for the patients, but also speaking with truth and empathy. My gratitude with you forever.

I came here for my annual exam. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours on a Friday at 1 PM. I used Zocdoc to schedule the appointment which was easy and convenient. I will preface I have not had an annual exam in about three years so I don’t know what they usually entail. I saw a Dr. Adjoa Buckner she quickly Did an assessment, a breast exam, Pap smear, and checked for any abnormalities such as fibroids or any pelvic pain. again I don’t know how in-depth an annual exam is, but I did feel like it was very brief and quick however that may be every annual exam so I don’t have much complaints about that. I’ll also say I was 15 minutes late and they were still able to accommodate my visit, which was great. I was quickly seen once I finished the paperwork. to find the entrance it’s a bit tricky because it says P3 so I expected the third floor, but when you enter on the side entrance, which they tell you to in a text prior to your visit, the door is right there. The waiting room is nice. They have tissues and a place to charge your phone. The exam room was a bit tight and the ceilings were low, the drop ceiling had water damage stains and the paint was chipping so it just seemed like a very flimsy job.
The receptionist were helpful and nice. I would probably return given it’s only a bus ride away and finding a nice office in Queens is a little difficult.

I was looking for a new a OBGYN for previously feeling dismissed from my current doctor. I found Dr. Bucknor on Zocdoc and trusted the positive reviews. All a woman wants to feel heard and understood especially when it comes to anything health related and I’m so glad I trusted my gut to get a second opinion because Dr. Bucknor and her team were so calm and reassuring. Thank you Dr Bucknor for hearing me and not rushing me out, I felt like I was talking to a GYN I could finally trust. She immediately schd me an ultrasound on my first appt to figure out my symptoms, which is something I’m not used to… such immediate action at a drs appt. The ultrasound tech Suzanne was so reassuring and nice, it was so comforting to just being able to talk to a real human being and working with healthcare providers who care. Woman to woman. Suzanne reassured me I’d love this office and that they do not dismiss women. I will canceling all future appts with my current GYN and will be a continuing patient here with Dr. Bucknor. Thank you so much!
