I had such a bad experience in this office. I took time off work to be told I had missed my 1:30 PM appointment, when my confirmed appointment was at 2:30 PM. Once I showed proof, the story changed: the provider had an emergency and was not in the office. No one had called me, despite six staff members sitting at the front desk.
I was offered to see another provider but with no clear wait time — somewhere between 3:00 and 3:30 PM. I had already given enough of my time. I left.
I work in a medical office. I know emergencies happen. What I cannot excuse is the misdirection, the lack of communication, and zero accountability. I will not be back and would not recommend this place.

Completely unethical and unprofessional. I do not recommend it. The doctors are completely unprofessional; they have no interest in their patients' health and are simply there for the sake of being there. Not recommended.
Needed a hysteroscopy and wanted it done in office rather than a hospital setting. Dr. Cohen handled it efficiently and explained every step as he went. No surprises.

He is the best doctor I have visited in all of New York—a professional of true integrity. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the entire staff at Cohen Medical Practice. Since my husband and I have had difficulty conceiving, we attempted artificial insemination on several occasions; however, due to various factors, it was unsuccessful. It is a very stressful process, and my English proficiency is quite limited, but the doctor made the experience much more bearable for us. I brought my mother to Cohen Gynecology for a scheduled appointment specifically to get a pessary (ring) placed for her condition. She is an elderly patient on Medicare, and we made this appointment in advance for that exact purpose.
We took time off work, paid for transportation, and arrived early only to be told by the doctor that they don’t even have the pessary available and suggested we “go somewhere else.”
This is completely unacceptable.
No one called us ahead of time to inform us. No one verified whether they had the necessary equipment before booking the appointment. This shows a total lack of respect for patients’ time, money, and health especially for elderly patients who depend on proper care and coordination.

I had a very negative experience at this office. The doctor felt very rushed and frantic, and was not very kind with her care. I requested a breast exam and she told me that my breast felt “lumpy” but didn’t know and I should go get an ultrasound. I find it hard to believe that a doctor can’t provide a bit more information than telling a patient they don’t know, or at least attempt to explain before inciting fear. I was very dissatisfied with the entire experience at this office.

Front staff not friendly at all, NP was great. The ultra sound tech said she didn't know if I just didn't "believe" basically what she was doing/saying, but I feel like medical professionals need to remember that I don't know the normalcy/ I am not familiar with gynecologic happenings! I was just asking questions because I was not familiar. Their intake form also asks you what your gender assigned at birth is which makes no sense considering I am at a gynecologic office. Won't be going back
A friend of mine referred me to Dr Bucknor. I have had the hardest most trying time finding doctors in the city. Every single person in this office was so kind, caring and attentive. Made to feel rushed when coming to such a vulnerable appointment can ruin your entire day. I am so grateful to have found this doctor and I would highly recommend to anyone.

I normally do not leave reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to share my experience. I truly appreciate Dr. Buckner. She performed my surgery along with another doctor in the office, and both were wonderful. They are professional, caring, and I have always felt comfortable under their care.
During a visit about a year ago, I unfortunately had an unpleasant interaction with a front desk receptionist who came across as rude and unprofessional. I previously worked in the medical field for many years, so I understand how important patient interaction is. That experience was disappointing and even caused my blood pressure to rise, which is unusual for me.
However, I want to recognize the receptionist who assisted patients during my recent visit on Monday at around 2:30 PM for my 2:45 appointment. She was very kind, professional, and handled a difficult situation with another patient calmly and respectfully. She stayed focused on her job and did not engage with negativity. That level of professionalism truly stood out.
